Economical, trustworthy, prompt, careful and courteous. Calls to the front office were fully responsive. Advance rep, Adam, explained JSM&S's standards and relation to a nationally known company, assessed our particular needs, arranged same-day, same-truck, non-stop transport 180 miles away and fulfilled the promise that his price quote would be honored upon delivery. JSM&S inspector, Virginia, fairly assessed furniture condition at pick-up. Movers Tim, Tyler and Kyle were gentlemanly, efficient, and responsive to concerns for high-end items and glassware. JSM&S -- or any similar company -- could not have better representatives.

Two years after a very distasteful experience I got contacted by a worker from Jersey Shore Moving & Storage to complain about a review I posted about my experience. I feel like I have a target on my back and I just want to be left alone. I would recommend anyone to stay away from Jersey Shore Moving & Storage

Very good. Everyone introduced themselves-walked thru house ahead of time- took addl items as room permitted. Move into location was not vacant but worked around to move in as best we could.

The men arrived on time, were very professional, and did everything I asked. Some items were moved to new condo, others were put in garage. They were very careful, despite rainy day.

Our call back was to the same office person, Virginia whom we had spoken with in person. It was a completely different situation like Jekyll and Hyde. She was extremely rude, virtually yelling at me and giving me a terrible attitude. Someone who is working in an office should have better people skills and bedside manner. I am a retired School Administrator and have come in contact with people in all walks of life. I never encountered such arrogance in my life from any individual. If this is how this moving company operates don't even bother using them. I am still upset in how I was treated

we agreed on a price and a delivery date. they delivered without supervision, we .loaded it and they picked it up unattended also. Very helpful.

Despite my initial concerns as to the sensitivity of some of the items to be moved, everything worked out extremely well and I was totally pleased.

The two movers that were sent were nice but worked at a slow pace even with my boyfriend helping them. Since they moved at such a slow pace it caused them to go over the allotted 4 hour time slot which ended up costing me more money. They did not take any measurements of furniture or doorways before moving items into the house which also slowed them up because certain pieces of furniture did not fit through doorways. Our refrigerator did not fit through the front or back doorway and after a time consuming thought process the movers said they would take the refrigerator doors off to fit through front doorway. However they DID NOT remove the doors like they said and ended up denting the refrigerator doors and sides of the refrigerator. The contract we signed only covers 60 cent per pound of the item damaged so now we are left with a dented refrigerator. Even though the company was quick to respond to our initial call, and come out to our home to give us an estimate I would not use them again in the future.

Jersey Shore was FABULOUS! They were what movers should be. They arrived right on time for pack up and move out, and were right on time for delivery. Communication was excellent throughout the process, and with two other estimates Jersey Shore was the most cost-effective. Staff was lovely, and items arrived in perfect condition.

JSM were recommended by my real estate agent, so I had positive vibes going in, and they certainly did not disappoint. When the sales rep came out for the initial estimate, he challenged me to do my homework. He told me that he wanted me to get at least a few other quotes, In addition, he wanted me to go online and find the license number for his company to ensure that it was still active. Right there- I was impressed. I did do my homework like he had suggested, and while JSM was not the cheapest, I felt most comfortable with the things that they were saying. For example, they were going to (and they did) build a box around my custom glass kitchen table, they bagged my mattress for protection from bugs, and said that they would take whatever steps were necessary to keep our stuff safe (and they did!). The office staff handling the move was a pleasure to work for. In fact, in conversation they suggested some other local merchants for other moving needs, which I really appreciated. As for the moving team themselves= they were fantastic- strong, personable, and hard working. In fact, I requested and was sent the same crew for both legs of the move and unfortunately they ended up having to move us in two torrential rain storms, but again they did it with skill and care. Before they were finished one of the men noticed that my daughters toy kitchen which they DID NOT move was damaged. He responded by saying that my daughter shouldn't have to have a broken oven door so he insisted that he try and repair the door. Talk about going above and beyond. Thank you Jersey Shore Movers!

Jersey Shone was excellent. They were on time and got right down to business. The Forman explained the process & we walked through the entire house to conform the scope of the job (what stays us go). They were real efficient and all seemed to enjoy what they were doing. No damaged at all and we had some very large pieces of furniture.

The movers, Jude & Roberto, were absolute angels! They wrapped by big screen TVS in bubble wrap & took care of my furniture as if it was theirs. At the drop off home in NY they re-arranged the furniture to my wife is liking-sometimes placing it in different areas in the same room nothing was too much for them to do!

I have moved many times in my life but not in the last 20 years and I needed a company that took credit cards. After posting my plea on Facebook I received a response from a worker at Jersey Shore Moving & Storage. They were absolutely awesome! This move ran perfectly from start to finish. A confirming phone call was received a day prior. The men were always communicative, polite and all around just very nice/clean people. Every item was handled with the utmost of care. Considering I moved from a second floor apartment(down 4 flights of stairs to ground level) to a third floor apartment(with an elevator), I didn't find a scratch, dent, absolutely nothing wrong once they left! Everything arrived in perfect condition and not a thing was missing! This move went well beyond my expectations all around. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY! (I was a Realtor for 35 years. Agents if you need to recommend a good company, I would suggest this company be the one!)

It went perfectly. The team was superlative in every way - very careful, courteous and hard working. They made sure that we were happy with the placement of each piece of furniture. I have an injured hand and if I went to move anything, they had it in their hands immediately. Their concern was genuine. they arrived on time and all went well - nothing damaged after entire move - movers very friendly and very careful - all items had to be brought up an elevator and down a long hallway - they carefully placed furniture in the exact locations we asked and doubled check after all was done if we wanted to change anything around - the final price was actually a lot less than estimated - would not hesitate to recommend them or use them again in the future

They arrived on time and proceeded to pack any breakable glass items, not done by us, and shrink wrap furniture as necessary, disassembling bed, etc. moving them to the truck. Most loose items were prepacked by us in multiple boxes, about 15. They were very accommodating and answered any questions we had. All loading was completed in less 2 hours. Based on their schedule, delivery to Boston would have to be made a few days later which was find with us. There was no additional charge for secure storage at their site till delivery day. On delivery day they arrived on time and completed unloading including assembling furniture and unloading what they packed. All packing debris was removed by them and disposed of. There was no damage to anything moved. It was great working with Chad and his assistant during the entire process they made the move a pleasant and less stressful one.
