Andrew was always prompt and showed up when he was supposed to. I know that might not impress some people, but it means a lot when you have a busy household. He listened to our vision and always encouraged involvement in the project. We actually added several features we discussed with him and that really made the project more valuable to us. His entire staff was very personable and this also makes the process much smoother when people are working in your house over several months. He made sure all work was completed to our specifications and that we were satisfied with the final product.

The windows and doors in our home were in rough shape, they were original to our 70 year old home and desperately needed to be replaced. Since we worked with Andy before, he was our first call. As usual, he was prompt and thorough in discussing our options. We decided on window and door styles and Andy and his team installed everything as soon as the materials were available. What a difference new doors and window make! Andy will be the first to call again for our next home improvement project!

We recently purchased a fixer-upper and needed to tackle the main (and only) bathroom first on our “to-do” list. There was some water damage in the floor, the tile needed to be replaced in the tub/shower as well as the floor, and we also needed to install a new sink and toilet. We quickly realized that this was well above a DIY job and decided to call in an expert. Andy Balas was quick to respond to our initial call and came over the next day to look at the bathroom and provide a quote. His quote was reasonable and the project completion timeline fit within our schedule (since we had to make alternative bathroom arrangements while the work was being completed). The bathroom was finished on time and within budget and looks incredible! We would highly recommend Andy and his team; they are friendly, knowledgeable, skilled, and trustworthy. We are continuing to work with Andy to check off more items on our “to-do” list!

Andrew Balas and his crew completely renovated our kitchen. The work consisted of gutting the entire kitchen down to the studs. Also involved in the renovation was a relocation of the laundry room to increase the size of the overall kitchen. The work was extensive as new wiring, plumbing and flooring were also involved in this renovation. All new cabinets, granite tops, lighting, and most kitchen appliances were a part of the project. The work also included closing off an outside door, and adding new siding to the exterior of the house. Additionally, we decided to add a downstairs powder room renovation during the work on the kitchen. Andrew performed this additional work in the same time frame as the kitchen and both were completed on within the original schedule time. Andrew and his crew were professional, on time and very accommodating to our own schedule. The final product is fantastic. We are so pleased with the look and feel of our new kitchen, and will enjoy it for years to come. I would recommend Balas Construction for any and all renovations and additions.

Andy was great to work with. He did a complete redesign/renovation of our kitchen including knocking down walls and moving our laundry room, as well as remodeled our powder room. He and his crew showed up every day and were incredibly responsive. They far exceeded all of our expectations and definitely plan to turn to them again with our additional renovation needs. They were agile with any and all changes that I presented to them. Our kitchen and bathroom are beyond my expectations. I would highly recommend Andrew Balas Construction.
