Johann Tile

On the recommendation of our mason we called Johann Tile. They came out and gave us an estimate that was beyond fair, they told us exactly what they could and couldn't do. They were very polite and their professionalism was awesome! After dealing with crooked contractors after Sandy, we were skeptical. After meeting the gentlemen from Johann, it was like a breath of fresh air, the light at the end of the tunnel WAS NOT and oncoming train it was the shine off our floor! They look great! We can't say enough GREAT things about Johann Tile, we have given out their business cards with high praise.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH JOHANN TILE!!!! He demanded money upfront for the job, made me buy all material upfront, and took over two months to complete the job. (which by the way was never 100% completed). Job was paid in full in cash before he completed work, after inspection, found many mistakes and unfinished work ( installed cracked & chipped tiles/ empty holes with no grout, left spacers between tiles and grouted over them, which you can see, did not grout between tile and doors). I've been trying to contact him since July to finish the job, and now after a month, have not heard a word from him. He does not answer my phone calls, emails, or my contractors calls. Now have to pay yet ANOTHER person to complete the work that this company never finished. He is a terrible business man who is trying to take on too much work and taking advantage of people who were struck by Hurricane Sandy. Think twice before you give him a dollar of your hard earned money. I will be sure to spread the word around about the terrible experience I had with this horrible contractor.
