Erik has been incredibly helpful to me in getting my father's home ready to be sold. He fixed several things for me, including the ice maker, exhaust fan, and replacement of a ceiling fan. He scheduled my repairs quickly, especially when we were on the eve of closing and it was time sensitive. And he is very knowledgable and skilled and doesn't try to upsell you - he addresses the problem and at a reasonable price. And Michelle is a delight to deal with! I read the other reviews and sure, he has an abrupt approach to speaking with customers (he even admits it) but I'm totally fine with that when you get the service that Erik and Michelle provide! They made a difficult house selling process so much easier.

Do yourself a favor and call someone else! He told us it would cost $430 to fix the ice maker so we decided to just go get another fridge. We also needed our new microwave installed. He said he didn’t have the time and would have to come back(even though he didn’t fix our fridge so he DID have the time! That was fine though, he told me to clean out above the microwave cabinet (which I did) and he’d come back. It was a $70 service call so we asked him if we could just pay it all together when he put in the microwave in which he said that’s fine! His associate (I believe it’s his wife) called us back asking why we didn’t pay him for the service call! We explained to her that he said it was fine to pay it all at once but he told her that we didn’t want to pay!! We have NEVER EVER not paid someone for their work!! I think it was just a miscommunication on his part so I told her we have no problem paying it ALL to him upfront, even before he installed the microwave. He just called me saying he’s sorry but he can’t do business with us!!! (Even though I now have stuff all over my kitchen from cleaning out the cabinet that he told me to!! My 18 yr old granddaughter was there for the whole interaction with him and pulled me aside to tell me how RUDE she thought he was talking to my husband!! I’m sorry but I think if you want to own your own business you should know how to deal with people! I would NEVER EVER recommend this company!!

PLEASE READ THIS. NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH ERICS APPLIANCE CARE. YOU WILL REGRET IT. 3 times I’ve dealt with Eric. He is an awful businessman. Zero customer service. Called a tenant of mine “hostile” when she solely asked him to explain the details to the landlord (me) and even apologized if she came across rude. He then blatantly lied to me. And then accused me of lying. I would be very concerned letting him into my house. He was literally making things up on our phone call. The overall summary is he has knowlingly left 2 families on vacation without a refrigerator for almost a week and has walked away from the job.

Not responsive & Does not return messages in a timely manner. I made an appointment for the next day which he said he could do. He told me to text him tjhe address and my contact info. I did and didnt hear back from at all. I called and left messages. I texted him the next day and finally got him on the phone in the am. He said he would make it out there and get back to me. I texted him at 100 and he said he was on his and would be there between 2-3. He never showed up and I kept texting and calling and never heard back from him finally at 530 he picked up the phone and said he got tied up and didnt have his phone. he said he would be there at 600pm . He never even called me. He showed up at 620 . He rang the door bell but the renters didnt hear it or come down.. He should have picked up the phone and call me back as I was texting him and calling all day ! If I could get anyone else I would but stuck because all other repair people could not get there for a week or more. If you can get someone else then please do yourself the favor and please do !!! I cant believe he is even in business! Absolutely the worst . I was in a jam had renters there w broken refrigerator. I wish he never even said he would go there.

I don't write reviews so you know this was a bad experience. Look elsewhere if you would like to be treated with dignity and respect. I have never had such a poor experience with a "business" in my life. I reached out to Erik regarding a dryer at my property. He was prompt in returning my call and said he would come by the following day to take a look at it. I followed up via text the next day and he responded. When he arrived at the property, I explained that residents of the property were home and expecting him and that I could be there in minutes if need be. He determined the problem with my dryer and said that he would need to order parts for its repair. I offered to put down a deposit and he declined. I followed up later in the week and the parts had come in. I asked when he could schedule an appointment... no response. I called him and left a message. He returned my call and left a message. I called him back and he said most likely over the weekend, if not Monday at the latest but no specific timeframe was given. He asked if someone would be home and I assured him one of the property residents would be there and that he could call me for credit card payment or, if preferred, could be there to give him a check or cash payment. On Monday, I called him and left a message. He retuned my call and indicated that he was trying to reach me but his phone was acting strange. He said he would be out later in the day. Still no time frame offered. I sent him another message, pictured below, expressing my frustration with the lack of communication and follow through as it was after 6 and still had not heard from him. He promptly returned my call and preceded to accuse me of dodging his calls and trying to evade paying for service. I told him that was rude and unprofessional and that if he was available I could meet him there to complete the job and promptly pay him. He then hung up on me. I have NEVER dealt with a more unprofessional and disrespectful business owner. Ever. I have observed that Erik likes to reply back to dissatisfied customers and attempt to blame them for the poor experience so I am attaching my texts with him. For context, his answering machine invites customers to text as a "more efficient" means of communication, although I do not recommend contacting him under any circumstances.

Erik is awesome, he is very professional and just a really nice guy, he came and looked at my fridge and knew right away what the problem was. My experience went fine thank you, the ice maker is now working. There was a problem when he first installed it, and he stuck with it that no extra charge to us to get it resolved. I think they did a fine job. For overall experience I would give them a 'B', Only for the reason I wouldn't say a 'A' is because of their coming back and so it would be better if it had been taken care of the first time, but I'm glad that it is taken care of.

I think he is very good. He is an honest person. I did recommend him to a neighbor and he installed an ice maker in her home. My neighbor was very happy with his service.
Description of Work: He looked at my dishwasher, and he did get it going again. He installed a new motor in 2010. It looks like, though that we need to get a new appliance.
