Very professional and understanding throughout entire process. We had other problems that were discovered and had to change dates several times, and this company was willing to work with us in every way possible. Would not hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for flooring for their home.

Very smooth -estimator was on time. The installers were great.price was unbeatable. We are tenacious shoppers. Sales people were a pleasure. The whole experience was great I was pleasantly surprised.

iUsed them in the past for carpet and floors and should have learned from that experience which was mediocre at best. Very bad installers they hired. Had to come back twice, but that is another story. In this case, we just bought flooring from them as we had our own installer. Three bathrooms were under contract. They told us a week to order the floor. No problem. A week later, we hear nothing. Call and they don't know. They don't even make a call for us. They point to the fine print in the order form and say 7-10 WORKING DAYS. We clearly were told one week (actually 5-7 days. We wrote it down and texted our installer from their showroom). They insist what the salesperson said is irrelevant. They hang their hat and reputation on their contract language. Whatever. But it says a lot. So we cancel our contractor and wait. After more calls to get a better time frame, they guarantee it will be here the following Tuesday (the ten day timeframe). Come Tuesday, we hear nothing. We call. They make an excuse and say they don't know and hang up. We call the shipper directly. They have nothing. We call the factory direct. They had just gotten the order and it would go out today and won't be here until maybe Friday. Seriously. Now we find out the truth. We cancel the contractor again. It finally arrives at the shipper warehouse on Thursday and MIGHT go out Friday. We don't take a chance. Drove over and picked it up ourselves. An hour each way. The worst part of all of this is we had to make EVERY call to them. They never would call us back. Of course they promised they would, but they never did. We have our cell phone call records. Trust me. No incoming calls from these people until the very end when they realize they have been caught in a pack of lies. Then come the apologies, etc. Too late. In the one bathroom we had tennants and had to put in a different floor. The other two we used this product (Coretec - which we like). Our mistake was buying the decent pricing they have. But the service nightmares were not worth the $100 or so we saved. Never again!

The floor was to be climatized for 48 hrs, which was never done, was assured that the floor would be alright being we live on the water they said they put a moisture barrier down so it would be alright. We were assured they had it by their by their back door in the showroom told us it got wet, and it still was in good shape and shined very nice. We purchased the floor the day after the floor was brought into the house it was installed and within a week we stopped in the store and, told them what was happening they never responded we went back to the store, finally we had to call them back and tell them they put it right up against the wall instead of cutting it away because it is a floating floor, they came back and cut the floor tore up our molding broke it and were very careless. The floor started peeling and chipping and there were bumps where pieces have been left under the flooring, and it started popping out and fading in Nov. 2012 we called them again the whole floor was buckling and peeling they said it was because our dogs peed on it my husband said okay I'll give you maybe 10 Sq. feet but not 2400. They supposingly sent a factory rep. down and he was suppose to bring back a piece of flooring so it could be sent to the factory and see if it was moisture, he called American Flooring on RT.9 in Manahawkin and said he was unable to bring a piece back because the whole floor was peeling and he would never be able to get it back in. This guy was not a factory rep. because I seen him in the store he was one of their workers. At that time they said that the floor was 3 years old my husband replied that it had a 30yr. warranty. My husband must have went to their stores at least 15 times half the time they said the boss was not in. After the man came down and said the whole floor was coming up we never heard from them, and when we did they said it was because the dogs peed on the floor. The floor just was not installed right from the beginning. We have not heard from them again so we had to sue them my husband went to small claims court on May 27, 2014 with pictures and of course they had a lawyer they would not let him submit the pictures because he did not have someone with him to testify. They had a letter from the company again stating that the dogs peed on the floor. The owner of American flooring who came in once to give us a price stated that the dogs peed on the floor while he was there my husband replied I was a cop for 27 years and did a lot of testifying and have never liied you are lying, if you are not lying why won't you look at me. Well they ended up giving us $3,000 which tjey will pay us $1,000 for three months. so now we are stuck with a floor that is chipped and peeling. The company of the floor is out of state so we can't sue them. Don't do business with American Flooring on E Bay Ave. & Rt. 72 in Manahawkin they are a bunch of liars. Our dogs did pee on the floor but when we went out I put down pads and towels. The name of the flooring is quick step and they had numerous complaints from people that are having the same problems as us. STAY AWAY FROM AMERICAN FLOORING THEY ARE ON E BAY AVE. 7 RT. 72 IN MANAHAWKIN THEY ARE TOTALLY NOT RELIABLE AND IF YOU HAVE A PROBLEM THEY WILL NOT HELP YOU. BEAWRE AND BE CAREFUL THEY PROMISE YOU THE WORLD AND GIVE YOU NOTHING AND DON'T BUY QIUCK STEP FLOORING. THE FLOOR NEVER STAY SHINY EITHER WE USED WHAT THEY SUGGESTED AND IT MADE THE FLOOR DULL. WE HAD A PIECE OF FLOORING THAT WENT THROUGH SANDY AND IS STILL IN PERFECT CONDITION SO THE MOISTURE STORY SEEMS WRONG. ALSO ON THE BACK F THE FLOORING DIRECTIONS IT ALSO SATES THAT IT EMITS FORMALDEHYDE AND ELDERLY PEOPLE AND CHILDREN MAY GET SICK FROM IT EMITTING IT. WE ARE 68 & 67 AND HAVE A 12 YEAR OLD GRANDAUGHTER LIVING WITH US THEY SAY YOU CAN GET VERY ILL FROM THIS. WE WERE NEVER TOLD ABOUT THIS EITHER.

Instead of floating the floor, they shimmed it. After the job was done we came in and put card board and paper down to protect the floor prior to our moving in. When we pulled it up we found chips and shaved areas. Some of the boards were fractured and splintered. I called to have them come and look at the floors because we didn?t want them to say we has damaged the them while moving. The sales rep from the company and a Bruce flooring rep came out at my request to look at the floor because it was fading. I rcvd a letter stating that the cracks and splintering can not be seen from a standing position and was not caused by the installation but must have happened after we moved it. I called Armstrong wanting them to verify my suspicions that it was improperly installed and was told the floor was applied with an unprotected nail gun. The owner of the company originally told us that he would finish putting down the molding and finish work on the floor but he called and said he was done with us. That I?ve been a problem from the start. There was no talking to this guy. When I asked about the warranty he said ?only when a board pops up?.
