Beyond rude

Ray and his crew installed a new gas steam boiler and water heater. The work is fast,clean and professionally done. They came back a few days after to re-check that everything was working properly. The price was reasonable compared to other higher priced bids.Overall I would recommend the Red Van company for future projects.

Prompt, professional, and most of all affordable service!

Very bad company, they stole the vent temper, controller and transformer from the old boiler. He did not do the inspection and he did not take the permit for the inspection.

I called in the mid morning and he was able to come and look at the heater within and hour and had it replaced that day. Price was comparable to what I expected. Great plumber, clean and efficient - very easy to work with!

Very competitive estimate. Started the job on-time. Final cost of the job was the estimated price even though some addition repairs were needed. Cleaned up after the job was done. Red Van will be my first call the next time I need a Plumber.

The work was done but paper work for permit has not been completed. He has not answered any of my calls, which I have left voicemails but answered for Home Advisor when he was called by them.

My hot water heater was leaking and they came promptly that day to help me. They were very clean and covered my floors before they brought the old water heater out. They cleaned up and overall I was extremely satisfied. I will definitely be using them again

Contractor's crew did very good job on emergency install of a water heater. But Red Van's post install support is lacking. After 6 weeks, Raymond (the owner) has not yet filed for the work permits required by my town for the water heater install. As such, I cannot get the job inspected by my town. Not sure why he would risk his company's reputation on something as routine as filing for a work permit on a water heater installation.

Ray came in with a price I couldn't refuse to replace my old gas boiler. I also asked him to replace my water heater. From his first visit to give me the quote I could tell he was a fair professional. Ray and his crew were competent, efficient, and quick. I felt very good about my decision. I would definetely recommend them.

Raymond was absolutely wonderful! He came to look at our water heater about a half hour after we spoke on the phone (on his way to another job in the same town as us). He took his time looking over everything to see what could be causing the problems, explained what the possible repair options were if we didn't want to go with the option of replacing it. We decided to just replace it, which Raymond said he was able to do that same day after he finished with the other job in town which he said would take about two and a half to three hours. He arrived back at the house when he said he would, got the job done quickly and efficiently. Replaced all of the outdated pipes that weren't up to code as well. Very reasonable price for the work. I will definitely be calling Red Van Plumbing & Heating for any future work that needs to be done!

Ray the owner beat the PSE&G price by like $700. Showed up the same day after getting a call from him in theAM.

Our hot water heater finally broke after more than 20 years; we searched Home Advisor and found Red Van almost immediately. Ray reached out to us with a very fair quote, answered all of our questions immediately and installed a new hot water heater on the same day it broke! We are exceptionally happy with the service that Ray provided and we will definitely use him again! Excellent job!

Vendor overcharged me for this job. I was told that Labor would be $185 but after the job was finished asked me to pay $300. Also they didn't give me a receipt for the kitchen disposal that was purchased on my behalf, I was disappointed at the vendor.

This is my first written feedback on HomeAdvisor, usually I don't bother, however this company deserves written review. Red Van installed a great product at a good price and did a great job. Raymond is very trustworthy, easy to coordinate and work with, and this is reflected in all other reviews as well, a reliable true partner. Plan to be a repeat customer in all plumbing and heating projects.

Excellent work. Nearly $700 less than PSE&G quote. Not the absolute lowest price I was quoted but certainly the best value. Raymond was very articulate. He clearly explained what he was going to do, the base cost and how he's price the unique extra my situation required. Then he did it and cleaned up afterwards.
