Handyman Connection came out in November 2013 to provide an estimate for an upgrade to a small bathroom (new tub/shower, fixtures, shower tiling, new vanity countertop, replace exhaust fan, and paint) and install 6 doors. The estimate was priced between $2900 - $3500 with the project taking in total 5 - 7 days. This seemed in line with other estimates and considering Handyman has a 100% satisfaction guarantee, I signed the contract and provided a deposit. To make a long story short, the first handyman took 9 days and the job was not completed. Shower tiling & grouting was uneven, grout around the tub was uneven or not done, dents in the tub, fresh coat of paint peeling in multiple spots, and damaged new door moldings. This was in addition to nail damage to my floor, scratches on the toilet seat/cover, ripped bedspread from moldings being cut on it, sawdust covering the clothes in my closet as nothing was covered, and the wrong doors being ordered. I called the owner to let him know all this and appreciated that he offered to come out to check the problems and bring a new handyman within a couple of days. They confirmed the problems on their visit and would fix & complete the job in the following week or two. The second handyman ordered the correct doors, painted, and installed them. The second painting attempt, while not peeling this time, was subpar; it looks like I did it and not a professional. I had to ask multiple times to sand the spackle before painting over it; I?m still looking at spackled spots that were painted over. Needless to say, I was disappointed with the overall job. I didn?t pay the last $200 I was invoiced, and sent a letter back to the company stating why with pictures of damage that I now need to have fixed. While the handymen were polite and punctual, the job just looks like it was done as a weekend project by inexperienced people.

Preserved the old door, custom fit the new door, stained it, added new hardware, added the pet door, custom finished the pet door for aesthetic appeal. Excellent! The process took 2-1/2 work sessions. Joe was professional and friendly and explained everything he was going to do clearly.

the service was promptly finished, cleaned up and I am very pleased with the result. Would be happy to have him back.

Generally ok, grout lines we nice and clean. However he did not align vertical tile with tile that was horizontal... not sure why. minor detail, but one that makes a difference i think in the look.

I called and spoke to Stephen about getting some work done in our bathroom. Stephen was very professional on the phone and appeared to be very knowledgable. I was told that Tony would call to arrange a visit and estimate. After several days of not hearing from anyone, I left a message with Stephen. Tony called and said he would come over on a Tuesday. We arranged our schedule to accommodate. The day before, Tony called to reschedule for 1 PM on a Thursday. My husband stayed home on Thursday and no one ever showed or call up. It's unfortunate since we were hoping that they could do the work for us.

This guy sounded like he would be doing me a favor by coming by. He never quoted me a price and never said he would come over to look at what needs to be done. Not the guy for us!!

He did a very good job. He was efficient, courteous, and did his job well. I would use him again in the future.

The gentleman was very nice. His schedule was not always flexible and sometimes I would have to wait a week or two for him to come and do the work. The work he did was excellent. I did have to go with him to home depot and purchase the items he needed, which I would have preferred he did on his own. Also, it took quite a long time for the work to be completed. I would have used him again, but Handyman Connection is very expensive in comparison to the other companies I contacted.

Bill Little from Handyman Connection came to my home initially to give me an estimate for repair. His estimate was detailed and the price was definitely within guidelines suggested by my insurance adjuster. The work was done on March 31, 2014. Bill arrived on time and ready to work. His manner is very pleasant and professional. I was blown away by how perfectly the job was done! There was no evidence that anything had happened. The ceiling area and damaged wall were replaced and painted. He matched both paints perfectly. The area was left neat and clean. I could not have been more pleased!

Bill Little is professional, fastidious, timely and a pleasure to do business with. We asked him to perform a miracle job for us that nobody else would take on. He said he liked challenges and would see what he could do. We had a hole in the middle of our kitchen wallpaper with no extra wallpaper to patch with and no chance of finding it in the stores since it was from the 1980's. We needed someone to remove a piece of wallpaper from the damaged soffit area where you would not notice the wallpaper was gone and re-attach it to the obvious area where another whole was to be repaired. Bill quoted us two estimates- 1. Not being able to remove the wallpaper, 2. Being able to remove the wallpaper and patch the hole. He said he would know until into the job what was possible as some wallpapers come off easily and some don't. He brought a steamer in and began carefully steaming old wallpaper off one area to be re-hung in another. It worked!!! His patience and diligence paid off... now we don't have to buy new wallpaper for our entire kitchen. I can't tell you how pleased we are. Thank you so much Bill!! Although the day you came to our house it was your birthday, we got the gift of keeping our kitchen wallpaper! We'll see you again in the future!!

Handyman connection was quick to return our call and had Bill here that same day. Their quote was accurate and he worked quickly to meet our timetable and did a great job. Would definitely give Handyman/Bill a call again for future jobs!

Tony Dibenedetto did a fabulous job ...put a lot of extra effort to complete the work. It turned out not to be an easy job and it would have taken a person with a lot of experience to complete the job successfully.

Handyman DeSalva came to my home and overpriced a $250 job up to a price of $400. When I told him it was overpriced he walked out instead of negotiating, a real dim wit. He also had very dirty hands and was touching in my home as well as smelling like 10 wet ashtrays (an old permeating cigarette smoke stench). And, he would not discuss the process with me so I could decide if he knew what he was doing or not. It was poor customer interaction and presentation to say the least.

Very well. The project was handled in a methodical and professional way. Every detail was given attention. There was care to maintain a high level of quality throughout the project and it shows in the result. The finished work is beautiful.

Chris is an excellent craftsman, the crown moulding in the living room came out perfect, it looks like a different room and I can't stop admiring it. The painting he did was also great. He is very meticulous in doing his work and cleaned up after finishing work at the end of the day. He worked continuously from the time he got here to the time he finished. I would definitely hire him again and would highly recommend him to anyone using Handyman Connection. Believe me you will be totally satisfied with his work.

When calling the handymen connection I spoke with Steve White who listened to the jobs I needed done. He assured me he had a capable person for the jobs and expedited the process. A day or two later I heard from Hugh, we set a date to start and all went well. Hugh was prompt and professional. I would use his service again. I did share my experience with a neighbor and she will be calling Hugh for her garage floor to be painted in the near future.

The service was okay. The price turned out to be much higher than what he initially quoted. The material costs were higher than expected. He sent Robert and his workmanship good.

The service was fine. I had no issues or complaints. They were responsive and came quickly. They completed the work very rapidly. I do think the cost was slightly high. However, they did exactly what they said they would do for the agreed upon price.

Bill Little was the handyman assigned to the project. He gave me an estimate which I agreed upon. It took him appx. 20 working hours too complete from start to finish including getting the materials and cleaning up after the job was finished.. The tiles where in the house for over 30 years, so you can imagine how dirty this was. Bill did a great job. I will ask him to give me an estimate on working on the 1st floor
