We have hired Bergen Backyard for various home projects (interior/exterior) over the last 20+ years. They are consummate professionals, clean and neat, easy to work with, and great communicators. And they do amazing work! Most recently they replaced our 2-tiered deck and the finished product is beautiful. Highly, highly recommend.

Kevin fully replaced our backyard deck and front porch. Their work was outstanding and the final products turned out beautifully. The work was started promptly and completed swiftly but without sacrificing quality or attention to detail. Kevin was kind, responsive, and went out of his way to ensure that I was happy with his work. Iâ ve never had a job run so smoothly. Definitely recommend!

I cannot recommend Kevin and his team highly enough. Kevin and his team did a complete tear-down and rebuild of our deck last summer. The original deck was poorly designed giving us limited useful space. Kevin designed the new deck in a way that maximized the footprint of the original deck, but gave us significantly more usable square footage and integrating a roof structure with lighting and a fan that makes the space so much more functional. The team was incredibly thoughtful and efficient throughout the build. Kevin also worked to keep costs down by using original footers that were still in good condition where possible. And his team took advantage of some poor weather days in late March a few weeks before our build was scheduled to remove the old deck since it wasn't deck weather yet and he couldn't move forward on his current project. And once our build started, they were fast! For a large, elevated deck and roof structure - footings through finishing - it was under 4 weeks. I was so sure we'd lose the whole summer to the project, but the team was here consistently every weekday making visible progress - which my kids loved watching. Kevin was also regularly on-site monitoring progress and keeping me posted on status. I don't think i've ever worked with such a responsive vendor before. I recently (a YEAR later) was looking at paint stains and wanted to match it to the decking. I texted Kevin about swinging by to pick up the decking sample and later that night he texted that he'd already dropped it off in our mailbox. I can say, without a doubt, the deck has become our favorite "room" in the whole house. The quality and customer service from Kevin and his crew - I have recommended them to anyone I hear talking about a new deck.

Kevin and his team did an amazing job on our rear deck with roof structure. They are the most punctual, detailed, hard working, professional people we have hired during +25 years in our home. Kevin and Bob and their team were excellent, and completed the project 3 days earlier than anticipated. Throughout the project the team worked hard, and kept the areas neat. They were easy to work with, very professional with great attention to detail.
