Need A Handyman Service, LLC

Three months and three broken appointments later, I still have a hole in my ceiling. While his work and prices are very good, I have never dealt with a less reliable company. Someone else coming to complete the job.

This is the 3rd time that Bill and Bobby have done work for me. Bill is super responsive to my phone calls and does a great job communicating timelines and setting expectations. They arrive right as promised and work extremely hard and diligently throughout the day....I usually have to force them to stop and eat lunch. I'm always happy with the work they do and their attention to detail. I already have the next project in the works for them. So happy to find people to trust to take care of stuff around the house!!

Great company! Need A Handyman Service replaced our rotting back steps & built up a much sturdier set than we'd previously had (even when they were new). Quality craftsmanship at a fair price - and nice guys to boot! We will definitely use them again...

Bill & Bobby did a get job in our master bathroom. The bathroom turned out better than I expected. They do top rate work and you can tell they take pride in their work. They know a lot of good vendors to get good material at reasonable prices and they also partner with other good service professionals. They are easy to get along with and they are direct with their pricing. The job was started and completed on time and on budget. They patched some holes in the ceiling that weren't part of the deal. I think this shows that they like to leave the job clean and well done. Unfortunately every time I hear "Don't stop believing" I am going to think of Bill. We recommend them and will use them again in the future.

Bill and Bobby did a great job. Constantly wanted to know exactly what I wanted and when I wasn't sure myself they gave me suggestions that were great. I made some mistakes when ordering and they came up with solutions that look great. Even before they started I was constantly on the phone with Bill asking for advise about shower doors, the tub and sink. When I found I couldn't afford a wrap around shower enclosure they built a 3/4 high wall so all I needed was a regular door. I never thought I'd be able to install an exhaust fan. Bill, Bobby and the electrician came up with a way to install and vent it. I have an older home and there were a number of small jobs like replacing a switch or installing a gas dryer, they and their subcontractors took care of for me. I now have a beautiful bathroom and so much more. I'm already planning my next project and I'll be calling Need a Handy Man for it. Oh and about money, the project cost me about 2/3 what the other estimates were. I just can't say enough good things about them. Do your homework before hand and know what you want, the guys will give it to you.

They provided a free, accurate estimate. The work was performed on time and on budget. There was a communication issue, which they promptly corrected. I was very happy with their service and professionalism. I will be using them again to hang my kitchen cabinets.

Installed a 8x10 section of drywall. Bill was very honest with his estimate, coming in lower than any other competitor. The 1st day on the job he came on time, in fact he was a bit early. Did the job promptly and professionally. The was very honest, professional, and knowledgeable at his craft. Will use again.

Bill and Bob were professional throughout the renovation. They are highly skilled and pay attention to detail. We highly recommend them. Our family room looks great!

We have found our go to handyman. Bill promptly returned my inquiry phone call and came to the house on a weekend to give his estimate which was a fraction of what other contractors had been asking for a powder room/laundry room remodel. He also got us materials at cost which I thought was a thing of the past and recommended plumbers who not only worked fast but were fair in their prices. Bill quickly removed the thirty year old vanity, toilet, and accessories. He also removed all of the flooring which was rolled laminate with press on tiles on top. Gone also were the construction grade baseboards. He beautifully patched all of the holes left in the walls,even coming out of on Saturday to patch up a hole left by the plumbers so he'd be ready to paint on Monday. He and Bobby painted the ceiling and walls, put new flooring and baseboards in the powder room and the entry to the house. The new vanity, toilet, lights, mirror, towel ring, and toilet paper holder were installed. I hope there is a way to post pictures on this site because the before and after is amazing. Everything was done to perfection and in about five days.

As promised, Bill and Bobby showed up at 8 o'clock. They quickly got to work, consulting me along the way to make sure that my closet was done exactly to my liking. They worked great together, working nonstop throughout the project. They were wonderful to work with, I enjoyed having them here. The project turned out great! We couldn't be happier, it's exactly what we were imagining. I already have a long list of things that I'll be calling Bill back to do. It's really nice to have someone reliable to call to work on our house projects. I would definitely recommend them to others!!

Bill came on time as promised and removed the medicine cabinet. Then he filled the hole with sheetrock and spackled it to it never looked as if anything was ever there. After waiting awhile for the spackle to dry, he did it again. Then he came back the next day and sanded it down and painted it. I hung a nice antique mirror in the spot and it looks great.

From the first inquiry e-mail to the completion of the project, no issues what-so-ever. Bill articulates well what he is going to do and when he'll arrive. He performed the work efficiently and amicably. I hope to use him again for projects large and small....

I am sure you have heard horror stories of bad contractors and seen plenty of complaints. Well that is definitely NOT the case with this Bill Marsden and Need a Handyman ! Bill and Bobby arrived on time, were very courteous, and asked exactly what I wanted them to do. They made some excellent suggestions as to correcting some existing damaged framing left by some previous contractors (hired by the previous homeowner). They did a very thorough and professional job including cleaning up after they were finished. I was very satisfied with both the work they did and the price. I am hiring them again when the weather is a bit warmer to repair the vinyl siding from the window installation. I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing work done on their home or business.

after quickly obtaining an estimate, the work was scheduled and completed over three trips out to allow the spackle to dry completely. The ceiling is now ready to be painted. They cleaned up after each visit nicely. I cannot say enough about this company. Very professional and fair! I will be calling them again for work in the future and I highly recommend them to anyone searching this site. Look no further.

I wanted a small closet expanded for more storage. They removed the old closet, put up sheetrock and trim, ordered and installed doors. I suggested adding a cubbyhole over the closet and they did that too. Bill and Bobby are very professional, capable workers. I have called on them to do many things in my house. The closet is beautiful!

Everything went fine. Not a huge job but they did a great job, no issues at all.

Bill is a super nice guy. He did a terrific job fixing our door! It closes and Locks with out any problems!!!! When he came out to give me an estimate, He explained the process of what the door needed, why and how to get the materials... He came out on Sunday morning to complete the job. He was on time, very nice to my kids and dog. Professional and did not rush out when the job was done. Instead, he took the time to go over what he did and how the new door closers worked. He showed and informed me about why the previous door closers failed and the underlying issues with our door frame. Fo all this - He charged me a bottom dollar price. He surpassed many other semi-good contractors we have used. Bill Promised good quality work and he followed through! That is a great and unfortunately, rare gift a contractor can give his customer. We plan to use him again to instal kitchen hardware....

Outstanding. Bill is terrific to work with. He is personable, professional, and responsive. He did all work efficiently. His craftsmanship is excellent. Bill, Bob and JJ did an excellent job with the bathroom remodel. They were professional, responsive and accommodated my requests (even last minute ones) without any hassle. The project was completed in 2 weeks with minimal disruption to my daily routines. The bathroom looks great and I would not hesitate to use Need a Handyman for any future home projects.

Very happy with the work of Bill and Bob. They are thorough and very efficient. Also really liked how they kept in communication with you as we were waiting for the door to come in from the manufacturer. Definitely will use them again for future work.

It was a little hard to get the work scheduled, but once Bill and his partner got started they were very fast and professional. On the morning the work was scheduled they replaced the bad section of drywall in the kitchen ceiling, re-taped the garage ceiling, and rough spackled both areas. Bill then returned for a brief period on the next five days to further spackle and sand until both areas were perfect. When they were done you could not see that the kitchen ceiling was ever damaged. They always put tarps down when working and cleaned up afterwards. Excellent work.

Overall a good experience. Bill is very nice and he did good work.
