Everything is back to normal. His upbeat personality, professionalism and attention to details were exemplary. His price was more than fair. I will suggest him to our friends and use his services in the future.

Part of the work was painting the outside of our front door. This needed to be done when the weather was warmer and Bob was on top of this and scheduled time to complete this on a warm afternoon ... they also used this same time to prep for additional work to be performed. One other scheduling note is that I was also planning to replace some carpet and due to promotions and financing options I needed to place the order by a certain date. Bob and Bill were very response to my timeframe and much to my surprise was able to get the work started (and completed) earlier than planned. The work went very well with arrival each day at the scheduled time and clean-up at the end of the day so that the house was in much better shape each day that would have been the case if I was doing the work myself. Bob and Bill were emphatic that they apply some of our selected paint in different rooms just to be sure we would be happy with our color selection. This was a great idea and prevented us from going with a color we would not have been happy with. I also had original grout that we used and I had asked them to use that same grout where repairing tile. They tried some and were concerned that color did not match properly due to aging and they found a much better color match to the existing grout. We are very happy with the work completed and expect to use them again for the work that we deferred and possibly even additional work. They were very courteous, punctual, professional and skilled. The pricing was reasonable and I felt that their primary concern was that we be happy with the finished result. They were also very flexible and accommodating. I also want to emphasize that I felt they were very honest and trustworthy and did not have concerns with their being in our house. On the last day that they were there, my wife told them we did not need to have some additional floor work performed. This was work that I wanted done before the carpeting and I reached out to Bob and they were both was very responsive and made it back to my house a couple of days later so that the work would be completed before the carpeting arrived. In summary it went very well.

The project went very well. Bill and Bob were great - extremely capable craftsmen, easy to work with, and eager to please. We're very happy with the result!

It was fine. I had an issue with their responsiveness. I thought his work was very good. We just had some communication issues.

Bill and Bob did a great job. They were professional, punctual and reasonable. This is my second time using them, the first being to enclose my carport with a screen kit.

The job went very well. Took a little over a week but they worked with us so that we could easily paint the walls before the trim went up. The job got held up a little bit but once they got to work everything ran smooth.

This is my 2nd time using Need a Handyman Service. Bill and Bob are very professional. They show up at 8:00 am every day. They kept me informed on what would be going on each day and they actual keep to it. The work they do is outstanding. I will not hesitate to use then again.

Bill responded very quickly to my initial contact, came to my home to assess the job, and provided me a written estimate all within a few days. He explained all details of the work involved, the materials needed, and advised me on care of the deck after completion. Punctual, cares about quality, does nice work. Overall, very satisfied, and will definitely contact Bill for other home repairs/remodeling in the near future.

Bill & Bob squeezed me into their schedule to get this job completed. They showed up promptly at 8 AM each day and took them about 3.5 days to complete the project due to Spackle needing to dry. They were friendly and very helpful. I already got another estimate for a door replacement and new flooring to be added to the sun room. They were great.

Bill showed up on time, tore down the tiling and replaced it with sheetrock. He was very thorough in explaining what he was doing and left me voicemails when I was unable to answer my phone. He was also able to respond via text message. He also installed 2 cat doors for us. His estimate was very accurate to his end cost.

This is the 2nd time I have used Bill to complete some work at my home. Once again, great job! Communication was great. Arrived on time and finished the work in a timely manner. I highly recommend Bill and will use him in the future.

Bill and Bob did an excellent job. They were neat and cleaned up every day before leaving. The rooms look bright and beautiful.

Called Bill (Need a Handyman) to come an repair a spongy spot on the floor of our panty/laundry room. Turns out that squishy spot was the tip of the iceberg. Our little job turned into a major rebuild of the entire area including an exterior wall. Bill and Bobby beautifully handled the demolition and reconstruction of our great room. They arranged for several trades+ to come in and play their part seamlessly. Demolition was done neatly, new support beams were added, wall were removed and replaced, bathroom was gutted and replaced including ceramic tile floor, laundry room/pantry area was gutted and replaced, pantry shelving was designed and built to maximize the storage space, walls were painted with trim replaced, siding replaced, roofing repairs made....it was a major project. Incredibly they managed to keep this project under such tight control that we were able to continue to have use of this room during this project?a miracle in itself. They even made provisions to keep all our cats safe and out of construction area--no easy task--but knowing how important that was to us they accomplished it. These gents were friendly, timely and professional -their workmanship was that of a craftsmen. They left the construction area neat and tidy every day. We would highly recommend this company-Need a Handyman with Bill and Bob- for any project large or small. We are already planning our next project with them after this positive experience.

We were helping my son with a minor remodel and we needed help with drywall finish work. Knowing that it was a very small job, I wasn't sure if I would be able to find anyone willing to take it on for a reasonable price. I reached out to 3 providers on Angie's list. One never responded. One responded to tell me he could not do it. Bill from Need A Handyman Service responded quickly and came out to look at what we needed. He quoted what I considered to be a reasonable price and was able to fit us in over the weekend to get started on the first coat. The work required several trips to the house due to drying time, etc. and Bill was always at the house on time or usually early. He worked quickly and neatly and told us exactly what to expect. He did great work and I would recommend him and use him again if I had a handyman job.

Bill and his crew are very professional and do fantastic work. Bill keeps you up to date on any changes, keeps you updated with everything at the end of each day, the guys cleaned up the area after the work, and above all the price was terrific. I would recommend Bill to anyone who needs work done. In fact, I'm planning to hire him again to remodel our bathroom. Five stars!

Bill and Bob did a wonderful job of repairing the unsightly drywall in the stairwell, which had sagged and buckled over the years because of poor installation. They painted the stairway and upstairs hallway and it looks great. They then installed a beautiful oak railing system with some intricate twists and turns, which presented a few challenges that they handled masterfully. They consulted with me constantly to make sure each step met with my approval. The finished stairway is just lovely. They are very meticulous craftsmen and take pride in their work. They were, understandably, very busy with other jobs and let me know at the outset exactly when they would start my work, which was a matter of weeks, and when I could expect it to be finished. They started and completed the work within the time frame that they gave me. And, as a bonus, these are two very friendly and upbeat guys and just a pleasure to have around. I'm looking forward to working with them again.

We played phone tag for a while but Bill was persistent in calling me back and we set an appointment for the same day. He was originally coming to give me an estimate, but when he saw how small the jobs were, he got his tools and did them both immediately (which is what I had been hoping). He was very professional in telling me what he could and could not do in terms of the cabinets (they had been hung wrong to begin with and that couldn't be fixed without taking them out), but he fixed the ones he could and at least now the corner cabinet door is not hitting the adjacent wood. He was done in 15 minutes and his price was very reasonable.

It went great. Both Bill and Bob were always on time and were in touch with the plumber at all times. They also sent me to two business's to purchase everything I would need for the flooring and new shower. They were both very friendly and professional and made sure the job was done 100% to my liking. I would not hesitate to refer them to others and would also use them myself again. Bill (the owner) and Bob were all those things and more. They were always here with smiles on ready to work at 8am. They are incredibility good and honest guys that know and take to heart the meaning of hard work. Their attitude and workmanship was consistent through out the job. Bill, the owner stand behind his companies' work. He will fix anything you don't like and will come back to make tweaks that are needed. There is no ego that gets in the way. They have superb craftsmanship. Bob built us a top notch, custom mud room built-in for our shoes, storage and hanging coats. Bill built us a beautiful counter, sink and hung cabinets. All were to our specifications. One thing that is especially important to me is that contractors don't rush at the end of a job. And They Don't Rush. Bill finished up, asked me to go over it and then I paid. I didn't feel they had a foot out the door, I was comfortable and relaxed through the whole process. One note: My husband and I came up with the design of the built in, bought the cabinets, and countertop laminate. I do not see them as designers but as excellent craftsman that can bring your design to life. Over the years I have been looking for a handyman to call my own. I found him and will always use Bill when ever we have a project!

Contacted Need a Handyman both by phone and via Angie's List contact form. Met with owner's partner (Bob) to review project and request estimate. Estimate received within week. Contacted company again to review project goals and follow up on design (mantel). Met with owner's partner second time to discuss options and finalize design. Partner indicated that he would get back to us shortly with final design and samples of stained wood for our consideration. Did not hear from company. After approx. two weeks I called and left a message requesting an update. Have not been contacted to date. This company receives favorable reviews for work completed. Surprised and disappointed by their lack of follow-up. Owner should have contacted us to review status of project.

You form a mental picture of how a finished project should look and the exceed my expectations every time and seem to top themselves every time they do work for me. There prices are reasonable and I have already hired them for another project.

I called Bill and told him I had some wood rot starting to show in one of my exterior windows due to slight damage from a storm two year ago. He came over and looked at it and told me it really wasn't a big deal but he would caulk the hole for me in the meantime. Eventually (maybe next year) the wood around the window will need to be replaced. The area in question was less that 1" in diameter, so I feel it will be alright to wait. When I wanted to pay him, he told me there wouldn't be a charge. I insisted, but he said "no" and left. I have known Bill for awhile now and he has always been a real sweetheart to deal with. He is always fair in his cost of a project and the job is always well done.
