I am very satisfied. Their prices are reasonable and they always show up on time which is something I appreciate. I highly recommend them and will continue to use them in the future.

It went very well. Bill listened to what I wanted, offered great suggestions on how to tackle the problems, and the finished product is exactly what I had hoped for. After discussing several options, we decided wainscoting was the best way to cover the thin set problem. I couldn't find any pre-made wainscoting that I liked, so Bill made it for me (for a lot less than the pre-made stock was going to cost). He did a great job removing the old material and repairing the wall damage, from ripping out the paneling. He fixed the holes, sanded down the rough spots and patched the walls nicely. You'd never know what a mess it used to be! He also painted the walls and the wainscoting. Again, it was a very clean and professional job.

Bill took measurements and he & his partner went and build the bookcase as much as they could off site. We ordered MDF cabinet doors online from a site Bill told us about. When the bookcase was mostly built they brought it to our house and installed it. They had to take the quarter round off the wall and put it around the bookcase. There was not enough to Bill got some more and it looks seamless. They added trim to the top of the bookcase to match the trim we have around the windows and doorways. Finally Bill painted the bookcase - he took the shelves home to paint because they needed to be laid out to dry and that took up a lot of room. Since it was virgin wood it took a lot of coats of paint, but the final product looks fantastic!

I contacted Bill by email. He called me back and we set an appointment for an estimate. He arrived early and gave me a clear picture of the work that he could do. We set a start date for the following week. He estimated that it would take about a week, including drying time, for the job to be completed. All aspects of his work are A+. He is prompt, professional and amazingly NEAT! We'll be using Bill for more work as we prepare our home for sale. THANKS BILL!!!

Bill is a pleasure to work with because he's very helpful and honest. He is always very clear about what he can do, what he recommends, and how he can work with us to get what we want for the best value. He never sub-contracts work and he will bring in other people to help him out as the project requires. His carpentry partner seemed extremely knowledgeable and was as nice and professional as Bill is. When Bill came out to do the estimate for this job he looked at a few other projects we were considering. He was extremely helpful in his advice. I currently have plans to work with him on built-in shelving and replacing an exterior door and storm door.

Bill is by far the best communicator I've met in a contractor. He provided me with estimates for the projects, as well as estimates for materials (the actuals were under what he estimated), and walked us through any issues he came across that were unexpected. I think it is important to highlight the way that Bill works with other contractors. We had an electrician install recessed lights in the kitchen ceiling before he drywalled it, and they communicated regarding timing throughout the process. He also brought in a sub to do the drywall taping and spackling, and coordinated with him (his sub is a top-notch union dry-waller who left little to no mess). We provided him with a house key and were extremely comfortable with leaving him in our house while we were at work.

Bill and his colleague Bobby did a fabulous job. Their estimate covered labor only, and they have billed us at cost for materials. I have found Bill fair and honest, and very importantly, a good communicator. When he'd run into an issue, he wouldn't just plow through and make a decision, he'd bring the issue to our attention and let us decide how to proceed. His work is excellent and meticulous. Also importantly, they devoted the bulk of their time to our job once they started, meaning that the work will be completely done in under a month. Versus the alternate methodology of showing up once or twice a week for half a year. I am very happy with the timeliness, the quality of materials and workmanship, and the overall management of this job, and will hire Bill for any other major or minor jobs we encounter in the future.
