Because of Mother Nature and circumstances beyond our control the work took longer than expected. Bill and Bob both are professionals and they know their craft.Totally satisfied with the work they performed.

They quoted around $3200 for the job. The guy was wonderful answering the questions and I had a good experience with him. I like his punctuality, his response to my questions and the knowledge that he had. His pricing was very fair. It was obvious that the guy knew his stuff.

Need A Handyman Service, LLC they were great. They didn't do electrical stuff, they did flooring for us and a bathroom. And they were on time, their estimate was right on. They were professional and they did everything that we needed to be done in the time frame that they said they would do it. I thought their prices were good, just very fair for the area.

It went fine. He submitted a price sheet to me in a timely fashion so it was fine. His price came out a little bit too high. I thought he was very professional.

Showed up exactly on time, did not charge me over estimate even though they ran into dome problems, work was professional and looks great

They did a good job. I was pleased and I told them I would hire them again.

I called Mr. Marsden on April 10, and he promptly returned my call the next day. I told him I needed attic stairs replaced and a new set installed in the garage, and he quoted me prices. I asked him when he could do the work, and he said it would be near the end of the month and he would call me. I never heard from him, and I e-mailed him In May. He never answered my e-mail. If he wasn't interested in doing the work, or the job was too small for him, he should have been professional and notified me. I've wasted all this time, and I can't have my air conditioning unit serviced until the stairs are replaced since it's in my attic. Ii called him because of his 'A; rating, and I'm terribly disappointed.

I have lived in my house for over 25 yrs while raising my three sons as a single mom.Money was tight and repairs were few.. All sons are grown and have moved on. After they moved, I realized that there was a bedroom with holes in the wall to numerous to count. The kids had hung shelving onto plaster walls and when the shelves were removed the molly bolts left holes. There was adhesive stars on the ceiling that glowed in the dark. There was wallpaper under the stairwell that needed to be removed, trim work, as well as a doorway that needed to be closed,(t)he bedroom had 2 entries and I was missing wall space. After all the repairs were made, the entire room needed to be sanded, primed and painted. Bill is respectful and professional, as well as cares about your home as if he was doing the repairs in his own home. This is a man, who truly loves his profession and what he does for a living. He takes personal pride in everything. He provided a written estimate, and we agreed on dates to begin and finish with end price that was actually a little lower and included extras. He also cleans as he goes, so you house is never a mess. The end result.. I wish I had taken pictures before and after to submit to Angie's list..My walls are as smooth as a babys bottom and you would never know that there was ever an extra doorway in the room, holes in the wall or wallpaper underneath the stairwell... It is beautiful. Bill also suggested we add corner round to the molding for an added touch and wow, did it make it more impressive.. He also put up my shade and curtain fixtures and surprised me with setting up my new bed... I was so surprise and grateful....I would absolutely recommend him to anyone, as I will definitely be calling on him again..soon Thank you Bill and thank you to Angies list

I have to say that not only was it a pleasure meeting Bill, but his work was outstanding! He installed new flooring wood flooring in the kitchen and painted the entire 2000 square foot condo that we were getting ready to put on the market. He was very busy at the time that he was contacted, however, I told him that our schedule was very flexible and he was more than welcome to come at night and on weekends when he was available. The work was completed well before we expected, we allowed us to have the new carpeting installed and get the property on the market sooner than we expected. I would highly recommend calling Bill for any work that you need done, although you may have to wait...it is well worth it! I believe that the fact that he has a waiting list speaks volumes about his work! I will and have called for future work!

I had used Bill in the past when we had initially put this condo on the market and had a great experience so when I needed more work done I did not hesitate to call Bill again. We had a buyer for the property and needed to have the Fire Marshal come in for an inspection prior to settlement. We needed to have all new fire prevention units installed prior to the inspection. The inspection was very last minute which did not leave much time for Bill to squeeze me into his schedule, but I just knew that he would find a way! I left a message and he called me back within one business day. I told him what I needed done and he told me he was super busy but that he had two estimates scheduled for Sunday morning that were in the area of the condo and he would meet me there at 8:30. He knows that I would be coming from more than an hour away and actually told me to let him know if that was too early for me! Going above and beyond as always, he was punctual, efficient and completed the job quickly. I wish he was closer to where I live so we could use him in our home...look no further Bill is the best handyman around!

Bill did some odds and ends that us busy working people didn't have time to do (paint ceilings, mend floors, fix wall paper). He returned multiple times, at the times he said he would, and even charged us less than what he had quoted up.

They are phenomenal. Their quality, price, workmanship, punctuality and professionalism is great. They clean up after themselves when the work is done and they are neat

Bill arrived at the time he promised. He is very engaging and personable.He is also very meticulous and he made sure that the curtain rod was hung at exactly the height I specified. He not only hung the rod but also went above and beyond and hung my curtains as well! Since the hanging of the wall mural required two people, Bill promised to return at an agreed upon date to do this. True to his word, he returned a week later with a helper. They both took their time to make sure that the mural was hung correctly and centered just right on the wall. They smoothed out the mural ensuring that there were no bubbles from the adhesive. The mural looks beautiful! I am highly satisfied with Bill's work and would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone who needs work done in their home.

When Bill arrived for our estimate, he indicated our project could easily be done in a day. He offered to purchase materials for us and charge us for them at cost. He even obtained samples of chair rail molding for us to select from. We found Bill to be very knowledgable, friendly, and straight-shooting, and loved that he and his partner Bob were available on Saturdays so that we would not have to take time off from work. His price for labor seemed relatively reasonable and he had availability to do our project within the next 2 weeks. We scheduled the project and paid a deposit. Unfortunately, Bill cancelled two weekends in a row. The first cancellation was due to snow and the second cancellation was due to Bill being sick. After the second cancellation and 3 calls in to Need a Handyman, we were finally able to re-schedule again for the following weekend. The morning of our project, Bill and Bob showed up promptly at 8am. Bill did a brief walkthrough of the work before beginning to ensure we were on the same page. We provided our double-garage as a workspace, which helped a lot. Bill and Bob worked efficiently and finished the project in exactly 4 hours, much quicker than we'd expected. Bill also apologized for the delays we had experienced. The only criticisms are that the project was post-poned twice (which was frustrating because, as expectant parents, we were anxious to get our baby's room underway) and that it sometimes took a few days or more than one phone call to hear back. However, Bill and Bob both did the work in a very professional manner, and were very friendly and non-instrusive while working in our home. We feel comfortable that the work was done correctly and with quality craftsmanship.

called need a handyman service about getting new front door and storm door installed.bill called me back same day and came to give me an estimate the very next morning. bill and bob showed up at 8 a.m. 1-23-13,on a very cold day replaced both doors and found time to build a step for our family room. the step was a add on job and they were more than happy to build it for us after spending the day in 20 degree weather.this is a very professional company that does great work for a great price.we spent 700 dollars to have both doors installed and the step built it was another $100 in material. we will use bill and bob for all of our future handyman needs and so should u.

I needed tile in my bathroom and laundry area. Approximately 100 square feet. Bill came and ripped everything out and put the new tile back in and also baseboard and some little finishing touches. He did a really nice job and got it done quickly. Him and his partner are hard workers and don't mess around and are honest. They like to work and I was very satisfied with the outcome. I would definitely use them again.

Bill did an excellent job overall and was very conscientious, detail-focused and took great pride in the quality and final appearance of his work. We asked Bill to close off a wide hallway/foyer entrance to our dining room and also to fit two custom French doors to our formal sitting room, which had an open entrance-way beforehand. Bill carefully went through the different door options for us and ordered the custom doors prefinished, whilst working on the other aspects of the job. His attention to detail and patience whilst working on the sheet-rock and spackling was incredible. He came every day for about a week to spackle. Sometimes we would get frustrated and ask him why it took so long but he would smile and reassure us that this could not be hurried and he was absolutely right! The final finish looks like a perfectly smooth wall and with the soft Vanilla Bean paint we selected, very elegant. It allowed us to convert our (unused) formal dining room into a cozy and spacious home office space. For our formal sitting room, Bill had more issues when it came to fitting the doors since the hardwood floors had not been fitted completely level but he did a great job in considering how best to hang the doors for best effect. He then did a great job on painting the rooms affected by the remodel, including a 13ft foyer repaint! Overall, Bill did a fantastic job and thoroughly deserves all the other accolades we had read on Angie's list before we chose him! He was also always punctual and kept us informed throughout the work as to progress and what to expect. Most importantly, he also stuck to the budget/original estimate. I would use him again and heartily recommend Bill!

I wanted to get Angies List involved through their complaint resolution program and was told that I needed to write a review to start the process. Since my goal is to find resolution to get my project completed I hesitate disclosing all the details regarding what has happened at this time, because I do not think it would help us work towards a resolution. However I would not be writing this if all was well. My project is not complete even though it was started two months ago. At that time I was told it would be done within two weeks. I have made multiple payments towards the project including up front payments for supplies while being told I would receive receipts to show what has been used against the supply money, to date I have received no receipts. Last week I was pressured to give more money toward supplies (without receipts) and to pay the balance due I reminded them that I still needed receipts from my first payment and that I would pay the balance in full when the project was completed as we agreed to originally. I was told I would receive receipts and expected them the next day, they didn't show and my calls to Bob have gone unanswered by him. Bob was the person who quoted the job and exclusively met with me and spoke with me until the work started. When the work started I met Bill for the first time. Throughout the two month ordeal I have always cummunicated with Bob. I trusted that he was telling me the truth regarding all the delays and issues especially due to the special circumstances surrounding this project. There have been issues created by Bill which I do not want to share at this time. I hope that we can find resolution to my project as soon as possible so that it can be completed. If we can't I was told I could write a full review at a later date.

I was getting quotes for work to be completed in the kitchen and bathroom. The designer, sales person arrived at my home on time and prepared to evaluate the work. After reviewing the work to be completed the representative explained what he felt would be my best options for completing the work. He explained the kind of work they do in kitchens and bathrooms as compared to the work I needed done. He referred me to other companies that would be better suited to complete the work. He took the time to explain how to complete the work and options that would make it less expension. I was very happy with the company. They were very professional and honest.

I called and listed several jobs I needed done. Bill said he was able to do the one I wanted done before Thanksgiving which was to install some missing baseboard. Both he and his wife called and we found a mutual time which ended up being a Sunday morning. Bill arrived promptly at 9 o'clock and looked at the job. He went to to Home Depot for materials and returned to complete the job within an hour. He looked at the other jobs which he will do in a few weeks and which I am able to wait to have completed. He was extremely courteous and professional.
