Description of Work: Chris came over to give an estimate...1 day late. We settled on what work was to be done and the price. They never showed up nor did they return any of the 4 calls I placed to them. Seriously? Why are they even in business!

Description of Work: I specifically informed this landscaper prior to hiring them that weed control was one of my primary concerns and needed to be performed weekly. Their bid included weekly weed whacking, but then they said that did not actually include "whacking the weeds" - only edging. They had forgotten to add Snapshot weed control when mulching, until I discovered their error after the mulching was nearly complete. They billed me in full for the Snapshot anyway. They did allow me to cancel the contract.

Description of Work: Holiday Services provides outstanding services which include landscaping, stone and gravel work and most recently, the design/installation of a fabulous hardscaping patio. Since the quality of the work performed by Chris Farry'and his worker is exceptional, I have had them do ongoing landscaping work as well as special projects such as the hardscaping patio that was recently completed. The patio is STUNNING and Chris used great creativity in the design of the patio. His work is outstanding and of the highest quality. I plan to continue to use Holiday Services on an ongoing basis and will work with Chris to design a new fence in the spring. Due to the high quality of his work, I didn't hesitate to recommend that friends of mine use his company. In addition to completing all planned work, Chris pays attention to details and will address any issues that I don't recognize. In summary, Holiday Services is the absolute BEST and I am very grateful that I found this company through Angie's List. I highly recommend Holiday Services without any hesitation!

+ -1 moreVery responsive. Made sure we were happy. My only complaint was that in one place in the garden where they mulched, they were a little skimpy on the mulch. Other gardens were mulched well however. Great customer service. Price on the higher end of the spectrum, but the quality work was worth the price.

+ 0 moreWhen I first contacted Chris, he called me right back. I explained what I needed, he took my address and said he would stop by the next day to take a look and call me back. Four weeks later I still had not heard from him. I have to take some of the blame for this because I had been so busy that I kept forgetting to call him, too. When I did call him, he was very sorry for the mix up and got out to my house the next morning. He called me that afternoon with an estimate. He was extremely nice and very friendly. I ultimately ended up hiring somebody else, but I would definitely try him again.

+ -1 moreThe front, side, and back of my house were a god-awful mess that I haven't had time to take care of myself. Mr. Farry's crew made it respectable again. I'm not ashamed to look my neighbors in the eye anymore. They showed up and got the job done exactly when Mr. Farry said they would, and it cost exactly what he said it would cost. They're fantastic.
Description of Work: Mr. Farry's crew pulled weeds, mulched the beds, and trimmed and shaped the bushes in front of and on the side of my house. They cut the back lawn, which was in dire need of weeding and cutting. They also put down weed prevention in the back yard. They've been back since the original service date to cut the back lawn again.
