Description of Work: Got the internet working again throughout the house - it's working, but not as well as it was before we had to replace the wireless modem. Will probably have to ask them to come out again. These guys know what they're doing, they're professional - a little pricey, and unfortunately problems have tended to come back over time. That just might be our equipment, I don't know.

Description of Work: The transferred files from an old PC to new PC. We have used them before and the accuracy of the work and price has varied. When we then purchased and additional laptop and notebook at Best Buy, we started using their Geek Squad as the annual contract was less than what we paid PC problems for 1 visit.

+ -1 moreMy latest experience with PC Problems was related to the purchase of my latest computer. They transferred all files and tended to all requests for help to make this a seamless transfer.
Description of Work: I have used PC Problems for years, for our home computer equipment and for the computer at the place at which I volunteer. They have repaired and replaced our computers a few times and the transition has always been virtually seamless. I now have an annual contract with them for two of our home computers, so many problems can be fixed remotely--without my having to bring the computer to them. Viruses and bumps in the road are attended to quickly and expertly.

Description of Work: Problem with Lexmark printer that messed up the operating system and wouldn't print. I brought the PC in and they fixed it. But one day later it was broken again with the same thing. This time they remote-controlled in and fixed the problem.

+ -1 moreHe was a young kid and he did me a big favor. He didn't charge me because he didn't have to take anything apart. He used an air blaster to dust out the fan. I would recommend them.
Description of Work: I used PC Problems because my laptop was overheating. He found that there was dust in the fan and he blew it out for me.
