Dave from Oz Electric made sure that everything went smoothly from the estimate (very reasonably priced) of the work to the permit issuance. Dave followed up every step of the way by making sure that communication was clear, especially since we are expats and we were not sure of certain USA requirements in terms of building and electrical works such as permits and taxes. Dave made sure to follow regulations when fitting the 4 ceiling fans and explained the pros and cons of the different types of fans (e.i. remote or chain, connection to the main switch, ceiling fixtures etc). After each day of work, Dave made sure to clean thoroughly after himself and not leave tools around for the children and pets safety. I bought the fans myself and the reviews about them were that they were very good in terms of design, performance and noise level, however, they were described as being quite difficult to fit if they had to be flush against the ceiling and awkward to assemble in the first place, however, Dave fitted them very patiently and without any issue. When the inspector came to issue the permit, he made it clear that Dave's reputation for carrying out good work preceded him and sure enough, the permit was issued without any concerns. Again, with being expats, Dave provided some helpful tips in order to get the inspection scheduled without delays. I know that I will be using Oz Electric without any hesitation again if I need anything else done in my home and I greatly recommend his work and professionalism.

Dave was able to schedule the work around my schedule which is a huge help since I have three kids under 4 and having a ton of noise and mess during the day can throw the entire schedule off. The job entailed adding a total of 7 recessed lights into my finished living room ceiling along with adding a two way switch and dimmers. He was not only efficient in getting the job done but took care to keep the dust and disruption to a minimum. Dave has done other projects on our house including helping with outside lighting, installing new electrical panel and doing all of the electrical work in our kitchen addition. We have been more than happy with every interaction with him and highly recommend for all your electrical needs.
