I contacted the service center. I was told one of their authorized service providers would contact me in 2 days. I received an automated call within that time frame with an appointment, and a phone number to call back to confirm. The call back number for the confirmation did not work - I tried twice, and then contacted Home Depot Service contract again - they tried the number twice and it didn't work for them either. While I had Home Depot on the phone, I looked up the service provider to see if there was another way I could contact them for appointment confirmation. It was then that I noticed that the provider they were going to send had 17 Better Business Bureau complaints, and only 1 or 2 stars on all the review sites I checked. I told the service contract employee, that I didn't want someone with such a bad reputation to attempt to repair the dish washer. I was told that they only had that service provider in my area, that they would find another provider, and contact me within 2 days - after a week with no call back, I contacted them again - I was again told I would get a call back in 2 days, from one of their specialists - it is now over a week since the second phone call, and no one has contacted me. I finally hired an outside appliance company, and paid out of pocket to have my dishwasher fixed.
