 + -1 moreThey could have done everything better. There were issues all over the place. There were scheduling issues, I had to call every time to schedule the delivery of the materials because the flooring had to sit in the house for 72 hours. They said they were going to call me, and they never did. I had to call them a few days before installation asking for the material and they scheduled it then and there. I called back later that day to confirm and they were able to confirm. Then I called back the next day because I was nervous and they told me the shipment was scheduled for a day after the installation. I was able to talk to a manger and they were able to get it out that same day, but if I had not called they would have had the material at my house a day after the installation was suppose to happen. They have a measurement service that comes out and they do the analysis of the installation, they did a great job of measuring but a horrible job of analyzing what the job was. When the flooring company came in they said it was insane because they would not have guaranteed the work they did because the old floor we had was coming loose and not attached to the sub floor. Because of that we were almost at a cross roads and we had to work with that company. The price is what drove me to work with them.

 + -1 moreThe service was very good. They gave me a date for the guy to be there and he was there with the stuff at the right time. I was very impressed. I didn't go shopping around and had an idea of what it would cost on average and it seemed to fit right in there. It was acceptable.

Description of Work: Purchased a storm door from Home Depot. The sub-contractor that Home Depot used to install the door did a terrible job on the installation. If you are thinking of purchasing a storm door and having Home Depot install it, make sure you check out their sub-contractor; otherwise you will be throwing your money away.

 + -1 moreThis Home Depot is pretty consistent with others I have been in: excellent selection of home repair items at a reasonable cost. Only downside is that they didn't have enough floor help to ask a few questions. The gentleman who eventually helped me was working hardware and making keys so I had to wait for him to help me. He was cranky but I persisted and killed him with kindness which eventually he returned.
Description of Work: Purchased some hardware like screws, picture hangers, etc. to make home repairs.

 + -1 moreIf you are smart enough and you pay it off that is a good thing. It depends on the person also. My husband is a vet and they give him a 10% discount. They have everything.
Description of Work: We used Home Depot. I had a deck put on and the materials came from Home Depot. They are great. I had bought a heating cooling system from them. When I bought it, it was 6000 dollars. They gave me a year and a half to pay. There were no extra charges. I last used their service three weeks ago.

 + -1 moreThey pretty much have the equipment at reasonable pricing. Their turnaround time as far as how long you can keep them and those prices are probably a little bit more expensive than I what would like, like the price for a longer period of time but other than that, the equipment is in good condition and people are friendly so no issues there.
Description of Work: We rented a jackhammer from Home Depot in Lodi four months ago. We also rented an air gun for nails about six months ago.

 + -1 moreWe had Chem-Dry come once so far and they did excellent. The whole experience was excellent; from the person who came in to measure and give the estimate, the choices for selection of material, style, color etc., did excellent installation. They were on time and well done.
Description of Work: We hired Home Depot, Elizabeth, NJ, to cut and install carpets and as part of contract once a year free cleaning by a company called Chem-Dry. The installation was in November 2009.

 + 0 moreLet me explain that if I wanted new carpets, I would once again contact my local Home Depot. They were just fabulous. Their work was great, the employees they sent over were just great to me. They did not make a mess out of my home and they were friendly. Combine that with their great prices and you are looking at one good company.
Description of Work: Home Depot installed brand new carpeting throughout my 1700 square foot home. They removed what had previously been there and put down new carpeting. This entire job took one half of a day and four gentlemen did the work.
