The work went generally very well. Of course, it took longer than we would have liked, but they didn't waste time. When they said such-and such would be done by Tuesday, it was done by Tuesday, by and large. They showed up when they said they were going to show up and there were few surprises. Their subcontractors were responsible, too. Daniele and Cristina were a pleasure to deal with.

Great! They were on time, professional, very clear with the timeline and it was nice to have one point of contract on everything, with the design, materials and etc.

The communication was excellent, the price was competetive and they did a quality work.

Great communication, high quality work performed - professional. We have received many compliments on quality of the work including from City inspectors. Cristina was very helpful with design / supplier suggestions, assisted us with choosing the tile, kept us updated on work schedule and was quick to respond to my questions. Daniel and Serg. were the onsite carpenters, plumbers and tile masons. Installation of Powder Room was completed before demo of 1st floor bathroom could begin. Powder Room (Basement) - Created a 5' x 5' powder room within laundry room in basement. Crew chipped through concrete slab and hand dug soil along a narrow trench from proposed powder room over to the existing main sewer pipe within laundry. Studded out the walls using pressure treated lumber along floor and closing in walls with moisture- and mold-resistant gypsum board. Placed bead board along bottom half of walls. Porcelain tile flooring with wood effect. 1st floor bathroom - Complete demo of 1st floor bathroom down to studs. Replaced sections of water damaged flooring/wall structure. A waterproof membrane was placed over entire bathroom floor creating a wet room for a barrier free (curbless) shower. The 12" x 12" floor tiles were sloped within the shower toward a linear drain with tile insert along the back wall. I would recommend and would hire Cristina and Daniel again. I found them to be very easy to work with, and I thought they did a very nice job renovating and re-doing an old bathroom in my home. They were very pleasant and responsive, and were willing to speak with me and meet with me (or go with me) whenever I had questions during the planning leading up to the purchase of everything I needed for the renovated bathroom. They were very courteous and considerate, and did everything they could to minimize the dirt and disruption in my home during the days while they were doing the work. I was very pleased with the quality of the work they did for me and I felt it was a very fair price - and it was completed in my required time-frame. I recommend them highly and would certainly call them again if I needed to do further home renovation work.

We hired Puglisi Renovations for the first big project in our home, which consisted of a full gutting and remodeling of our original half bath, and updating the adjacent kitchen with new countertops, floors, smoothing out the ceiling, inserting new recessed lighting and painting. We also purchased new appliances to complete the upgrade. The kitchen and bathroom came out excellent. We had never gone through a project of this size and had to get up to speed fast. They were patient with our decision making and helpful with advice. My wife was also appreciative of the work crews being so accommodatingof our 2 young boys who were often unexpectedly in and out of the work areas. Everyone that came through from their team was extremely nice and accommodating with our kids. In short they have a good team. I felt they were honest and straightforward about everything every step of the way, giving recommendations on the best way to achieve what we were looking for. At one point Daniel even offered to replace the kitchen window and door molding, which wasn’t something we had as part of the estimate, at no charge because he said it would look far better, and it did (we paid for materials obviously). Would definitely hire again. In fact my wife collected their business cards to give out to friends and family if anyone asked.

Called them for a remodel of my daughter's bathroom. They were great. From helping is pick out new tub and fixtures to installation and tile work. They kept us informed of everything from beginning to end and the bathroom came out beautiful!!!

Hiring Puglisi Renovations was the best thing for this project. Working with Daniele and Cristina felt like a partnership. We exchanged ideas and they were willing to work with me on achieving the vision I had in mind. Their professional suggestions made the final result awesome. During the project we had minor issues, but they didn't hesitate on rectifying the problem right away. My experience with them has been very pleasurable. The project consisted on having the old kitchen gutted, removed the walls and make it a open floor concept. Completely replaced the wood floor and ceramic tile floor with new wood flooring throughout the room. Everything was done to code. They were punctual everyday and at the end of the day they would clean up before leaving. Daniele committed 6 weeks for this project, but the project ended up being done in less time than that. We are very happy with the final result. This is a company that I would not hesitate hiring again.

Daniel & Cristina are so helpful and patient, and they worked their magic to make our full bath and half bath so beautiful. Everyone on the crew was respectful and professional. We originally contacted Cristina in early July and quickly decided we wanted Puglisi for our bathroom renovation. We hoped to have the project completed over the summer, but that didn’t work out because they had other jobs in the works. They were able to get started in mid-September, and we were very satisfied with all aspects of the work performed. Cristina was very quick with responses and Daniele’s work was excellent. They were able to repair a major leak and resolve issues unique to an older home. We would definitely hire Puglisi again!

Puglisi was super easy to deal with. They are a husband and wife team and Cristina, while home on Maternity, was still immediately responsive to all my questions. The job went smoothly and they did their best to keep the job moving. I only put a “Good” for Price not for their services, but for total cost including materials. For their level of work we couldn’t use cheap materials. But everyday I see the bathroom I am happy we did! Love it!

I cannot begin to express my satisfaction with Puglisi Renovations. From the moment Cristina came to my house to look at my bathroom, I knew I wanted Puglisi to do the job. I had been putting off fixing my upstairs bathroom for almost eight years and finally decided it was time to get it partially redone. I didn't need to gut the entire bathroom because some of it was able to be saved, however, I had old fixtures and a shower stall that leaked into my downstairs kitchen making it unusable. Cristina gave me an estimate for a partial renovation and I thought the price was very reasonable. She was extremely helpful while I was picking out materials and even met me a couple of times at the tile store. Cristina also helped me find a tile that would match the existing wall tile that wasn't being removed and I love the tile we chose. Cristina also recommended a great plumbing supply store where I bought a majority of the materials. I always got a response from Cristina when I reached out to her with a question and she was always very friendly and helpful. When it came time for the actual renovation to start, I was impressed that Cristina offered to have the job start on Labor Day. Daniele, Tommy and Frank were always very prompt and treated my home with respect. They covered all my floors and always cleaned up after themselves, even taking the construction debris with them when they finished the job. They would also ask me to come look at the work while it was in progress to make sure I liked how everything was being done. Daniele was also nice enough to pick up the bathtub, fixtures and tile for me, all from different stores. The job went very smoothly and only took a little over four days to complete. Daniele even came on a Saturday afternoon to install the vanity and put the finishing touches on the bathroom. I really could not have asked for a better experience and Puglisi has restored my faith in having work done in my home. I continue to show my friends and family photos of my new bathroom because I am so impressed with the way it came out. Cristina also provided me with an estimate to fully renovate my downstairs bathroom and I look forward to having that done soon.

Super. The wife, Cristina, was very responsive on all my text and e-mails. They were on time and gave us many tips on how to make the backsplash look better. The husband, Daniele was super. He was professional, skillful, respectful and just a great person. There aren't many people out there that take pride in their work, they are more for the money, this husband and wife duo cared about the finish product and how satisfied we were first, before cost. They were so good, that we are now getting our bathroom refinished by them later in the year. So, to summarize...don't waste your time and look elsewhere, book them and you won't regret it.

I interviewed several contractors for the project and I was interested in the combination of Daniele's experience and Cristina's helpfulness in making design and fixture choices. Daniele's tile work is especially a notch above. There are many decisions that go into a large project and everything was done to my satisfaction.

Great communication and responsiveness and the work turned out beautiful. Everyone was very friendly and a pleasure to work with. There were a few issues with one of their sub contractors, but all issues were resolved quickly. Would definitely recommend.

It was great working with Cristina and Daniele, an added value to our renovation. Daniele is a very hard working guy but he also pays a lot of attention to details, he wants the job to be done right. Cristina helped us in the choice of material such as floor and backsplash tiles, countertop. We definitely suggest to anybody interested in working with honest and dedicated people to consider them for your home improvements.

Cristina and her husband were wonderful to work with. It was a small bathroom update and they did not treat it like it was a small job. They were professional and extremely helpful, especially when there was a hold up with my vanity top and they were more than willing to be there for installation when I could not. It was a pleasure with working with Puglisi Renovations.

Cristina and Daniele were very responsive and helpful throughout the planning process. They have assembled a top-notch collection of suppliers for tile, countertops, etc. and we chose to go with their recommendations for the majority of the materials for our project. Desoite some changes along the way, the project came in at around the original estimate. The quality of Daniele's work was excellent, and we are very pleased with the result.

I am so glad I found Puglisi Renovations as they provided an excellent job. They were so responsive, kept to their schedule and kept in touch. I have not had to deal with contractors in a while and the whole experience of finding one to do our job was draining as most did not respond, was not impressed with them when they came for the estimate or they did not want the job because it was not a full remodel, but I kept trying and finally found Puglisi Renovations and was so glad that I did because they were well worth it. I would highly recommend them.

It couldn't have gone better! After a disastrous experience with the first contractor I hired, I found Puglisi Renovations through Angie's list and there is a reason they are so highly rated. After significant water damage, and significant delays cause by my first contractor, my daughter was sleeping on an air mattress in our living room for more than a month. Cristina was incredibly sympathetic and was able to fit me in to their schedule, despite being incredibly busy with other jobs. I was a little nervous about being the possibility of being treated as an afterthought, but my fears were completely misplaced - Communication was terrific, and the job was completed incredible quickly and incredibly well. Everything was done professionally with care, and we are extremely happy with the results. The cost was very fair, and we will definitely use Puglisi Renovations again.

Puglisi Renovations did an excellent job. The team resolved very difficult and unexpected issues found when the old bathroom was demolished. If you would take a moment to carefully read through the problems that I described below, you will understand why I rate their work as excellent. We found: inadequate power going in the bathroom (that explains why there was no electric vent, and why we experienced issues with a light in the old shower), too few structural beams (that explains why some of the old tiles and grout always cracked and the old walls seemed to have a somewhat hollow sound if touched), a unnecessarily thick cement base floor found "under" the old floor tiles, and other poor carpentry issues impacting installation of the new vanity. Confirmation of issues I suspected only came to light when the bathroom was demoed. After all, it is an old house. If you are doing any job, it's worth doing it right. These and other problems were resolved professionally. I had the utmost confidence in the contractor. I would list the price below, but while the Puglisi Renovations was on site, I had them perform some other work I did not have the time to do. The new bathroom turned out fantastic! I will also add that the people behind Puglisi Renovations were extremely friendly, genuinely interested in us, and generally interested in making sure we were 100 percent satisfied. Wonderful!!!!!! No stress, no drama! Very professional company with a pride and passion for their craft. Always on time and work extremely hard from start to finish. Will keep you up to date throughout the process. We loved having them as our contractors. Will defiantly hire again. Very trustworthy.

We met with Daniele Puglisi and Cristina Schepis in the Fall of 2016 for an estimate. We were most impressed with their professionalism and creative ideas as well as Cristina's offer to go with us to different vendors to replace all of the items in the bathroom, an arduous job. A quote for the services to be performed was forwarded to us a very timely manner. A date to commence the job was set for late November/early December, but it was more than well worth the wait. We not only have two beautiful new bathrooms, but we truly feel like we have moved into a new house. The bathroom off the master bedroom and the master bathroom were totally gutted down to the studs. Our master bedroom bathroom was slightly enlarged (a suggestion by Dan) and we now have a beautiful bathroom with a large comfortable shower as compared to a small oblong shower from the 1970s, exquisite tile which is perfectly designed and creatively placed, a large vanity and a light and airy perfectly painted room. Dan has a staff of professional helpers who are extremely neat (tarps were layed down at the beginning of each day and then picked up and all the dust and other debris was removed either by sweeping or vacuuming from the construction area at the end of each day). In addition to the professionalism, everyone especially Dan and Cristina were most kind and polite and helpful, and we had no qualms about leaving them in our home unaccompanied at times. The main bathroom was also renovated which has been reviewed in separate review. Our second bathroom was renovated. Because of a prior leak from the bathroom into our kitchen below, that escalated into a newly painted kitchen with the removal of all of the wallpaper, fresh new paint and a new ceramic tile floor. We are absolutely ecstatic with all of our renovations and are thrilled with the clean, new and updated look as well as additional space which was created for us. Dan is extremely professional and clearly takes pride in his work and is a perfectionist in terms of everything looking just right. I would highly recommend Puglisi Renovations to anyone and have already done so!!
