 + -1 moreWe were very impressed by George's attention to detail during our home inspection. He spent about three hours inspecting the home, starting with the exterior and working his way through the two-story home, attic and basement. He crawled through crawl spaces on all fours, walked our roof and caught key safety hazards that two other inspectors (including an engineering firm) had missed, including asbestos around a pipe in the basement, knob-and-tube wiring that was difficult to see in the finished basement, and a furnace flue that wasn't up to local building code. He's a builder himself, and clearly knows his trade well. We've used George's services twice and recommended him to a friend as well. Everyone has been impressed with this thoroughness -- even our realtor who has seen hundreds of home inspections before.

Description of Work: George set our appointment at the home I was purchasing for 10AM, I arrived at 9:45AM...he claimed that he had already been in the house and was almost done. We have come to find a serious amount of Black Mold in the air conditioning returns, the air conditioning units themselves are rotting. George missed an obvious crack in the foundation. I think he takes his money and does not provide a fair home inspection to a buyer. My repairs for stuff George missed are starting at $15K...not worth the $585 paid to George for a complete home inspection...DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE!!!
