+ -1 moreGREAT!! Brett fixed the problem and showed me how to fix it in the future. Very happy that I called this company. They are very honest and very professional.
Description of Work: My garage door kept shutting down so that I could neither open or shut it. I've had this problem off and on for awhile and had another company to fix it that charged me $120 for the service call. I called Jersey Coast because they had a good rating and a deal where they replaced the rollers and oiled everything for that same price. I called the company and they were willing to come out, even though they were pretty far away from me. On time, Brett from Jersey Coast came today to look at the garage door and showed me a simple fix to that problem, which I could do myself should it happen again. He also said that the rollers on the door were good and there was no rust, so it didn't need his oiling and roller replacement deal. He also made sure that the keypad outside was working. I asked how much he'd charge for this, he said just cover my gas and toll to get here, $20, but I gave him $35 because he was so polite and honest. I will definitely use him if there is ever a problem and I HIGHLY recommend this company.

Description of Work: Check up on garage door installed in a new built a couple years ago. Not sure who original installer was or if builder. Very screechy and Bret was able to check it out and grease it up and sounds much better.

He also visually checked other components and sprayed the rollers with silicone lubricant. He honored his estimate, and promised warranty for parts/labor for 5 years. He seemed to enjoy what he did and respected his customer. It was a pleasure working with Brett.

My garage door is old, and some other companies might have tried to sell me a new installation, but Brett identified the issues and corrected them, did not suggest a new door. It was shimmying, but now it works like new.

This is the same prompt, helpful, courteous experience I had when he had come to my home for work previously. I would highly recommend Jersey Coast Garage Door; and I would hire this company again. As I will be doing soon. As good as Brett is, there is only so much life he can extract from this aging door opener.

After others just told me over the phone that it was too old to get parts; and I needed to replace the whole unit for several hundred dollars, Brett made an appointment to come look at it. He was prompt and considerate of my schedule. He checked it out and found he could fix it with a new part. After he ordered the part, we made arrangements for him to come back for installation. He installed the new part, reprogramed the remote controls, lubricated the whole workings of the door; and had me try everything to check it out. About 1/3 the cost of other estimates for a whole new unit. Brett was quick, professional, reasonably priced; and so far, the work has been done correctly and working perfectly.

He was very courteous and friendly, did an excellent job, and his experience/professionalism was evident in how well and quickly the job was done. ?He did what he said he would, when he said he would, for the price he quoted me on the phone.
