Highly recommend this company. Showed up early. The owner indicated that this was his second trip to our house. Owner and son came with two trucks. Looked inside house, and went up to check rooves. Spent at least one hour at property. Did all the work that they indicated that they would do. Gave us a review of rooves, condition, age and remaining estimated life. Gave us a written estimate for roofing replacement. Unable to rehang a small portion of gutter. They tried, and explained why they were unable to because of gutter damage. This was not included in roof tune up. However, both men tried anyway. Newer trucks, professional appearance and seemed extremely knowledgeable. We would use them in the future.

Linwood Roofing removed the existing shingle roof down to the sheathing. They inspected the plywood and determined no repairs were needed. They then installed new underlayment and shingles over they entire roof. They removed all debris from the job site and completely cleaned the area before leaving. The work was completed in a professional manner.

No confusion, no excuses. Material arrived in excellent condition including sky light and all extra metal pieces. It came on arrival time as was set by roofer. Crew showed up went right to work, no joking around just doing the work. It was necessary to remove old shingles which could have been a mess but all workers stayed until all cleaned up.

It was a large job and they finished it in one day. They cleaned up after themselves. It was done to my satisfaction, I would recommend them.

I was actually looking to get my whole roof done and had gotten 5 different estimates. Linwood Roofing got back to me right away and gave me a very reasonable estimate. I dealt with the son Al and he was great to work with. He seemed very honest and trustworthy. I liked how they operate from the start. He was the only one that gave me a square footage plus he told me that the condition of my roof was actually in decent shape. None of the other contractors made it seem like I needed a new roof right away but Al was the only one that told me outright that I could wait a little while before I really needed a new roof . Their estimate was very competitive. It was basically between them and one other company. The others had estimates that were $1000 to $2000 over what Linwood was charging. In the end I decided to go with Linwood Roofing because of Al's honesty and that they offered a 10 year workmanship warranty while the other company only offered a year. I decided to just have my flat roof done for now and wait another 6 months to replace my entire roof. Al came over one day and was done with coating and sealing the flat roof in about an hour. He said that the flat roof was in really good shape and if I just kept up the maintenance on it, having it coated every 3 to 4 years, that it was going to last 15 to 20 years. Most of the other companies wanted to replace the flat roof for about $1000 or more in some cases. I would recommend at the very least to get a estimate from Linwood Roofing for your next roofing job. Especially if its for something like a repair or a flat roof considering how wide a range of estimates you can get for these smaller jobs.
