It didn't !!

Perfectly. It was not a straightforward job and required some creative thinking. The crawlspace expert who encapsulated my crawlspace tried and failed (twice) to deal with this particular issue. Having worked with Jack before, I knew he'd figure something out so I gave him a call. He took a look at the problem spot and came up with a solution that utilized existing sump, existing sump pump, and existing holes through walls to cheaply and effectively fix the problem.

Jack is always a pleasure to work with. He always picks up the phone, listens carefully, does any necessary research, and always does every job perfectly. If everyone I dealt with were so effective, reliable, and personable, life would be so much easier!

Jack is very good and knows exactly what needs to be done and how to do it. Only problem is that lots of people know this so he's very busy! Sometimes it takes a bit of time to schedule with him. When I did get on his schedule he was quite prompt and professional.

It couldn't have gone better. Project was completed on time, on budget, and ended up looking even better than I had anticipated.

Jack too pictures, found the manufacturer and was able to get a replacement. Got longer screws and modified to make work. Part cost $250 but the only alternative would be to replace the door at a cost of 100's or 1,000's. Tax was about $35 so his labot was quite reasonable - especially when nobody else could find the part for a 25 yr old + sliding patio door.

Several others had no success locating the replacement part because of age and unique milling & bore-hole configuration. Modifying the door to accept alternate hardware could easily weaken structure-only sure alternative would have been to replace the door at a cost of thousands. Jack was able to find a replacement from the door manufacturer (@ $252) & install - which nobody that I, or my condo management, were able to do. Really looks good too. Cost above includes about $150 labor and $36 taxes.

Absolutely the best. He's been my handyman service provider for years. Prompt, extremely knowledgeable, and reasonably priced. Because the sofa upholstery was in excellent shape, I saved about $1,000 by purchasing a replacement mechanism & having Jack install it.

Jack installed new outlet in kitchen cabinet above stove for new over-the-range microwave which he also installed. Whole job was completed in a little over an hour and price was very fair. Neat, professional, punctual and great communication. Have used Jack for both indoor and outdoor projects, and always satisfied.

Jack was able to schedule our project on the day I called. He arrived on time and worked efficiently. Jack has done work for us in the past -- carpentry, electrical, and window repair -- and we have been pleased with the results.

It was good to deal with a handyman who knows what he's doing. For the estimate Jack and I did a walk through the house and if he saw something I neglected to see that needed to be done, it was put on the and quot;to-do-listand quot;. It was very good to deal with an intelligent, honest man.
