Jeff and Trevor quickly to my initial email. Scheduling was a challenge only due to weather from that point on. They were willing to come to northern NJ and did exactly what was needed. They were efficient and the cost was within their quoted estimate range.

It went great! Trevor and Jeff were quick to respond to my initial phone call requesting their service, and requested photos of the wood I needed split. I sent them the pictures and they promptly responded with a reasonable estimate and scheduled a date to perform the work. Subsequently they had to change the initial date, but gave me plenty of notice. On the assigned date, Trevor phoned me in the morning to let me know he was about 45 minutes away. Right on time, Trevor and his assistant Brett showed up and looked over the job, and got right to work. They were professional, courteous and diligent workers. No time was wasted, and the final cost came in right in the middle of the estimated range. I'd use the services of Lucky Strike Log Splitting again in a heart beat! Nice work guys!

This company provided exceptional service. My situation was a challenge, in that I had logs from a large tree that had been cut down in my back yard, and the yard is inaccessible to any machinery larger than a lawnmower, such as a log-splitter. I had asked the company that had cut the tree to cut the logs to a length that would fit in our wood-burning stove, with the plan of splitting them myself. I did some, but there was much more wood than I had interest or energy to split. When I called Lucky Strike they asked me to email photos of the wood and the situation, which I did, and when they arrived (promptly, in fact a bit early) they had a clear plan, which they executed efficiently. The logs had to be carried out of the yard and split on the sidewalk. After doing that they carried the pieces back and stacked them neatly. Also, some of the logs which I?d split were too long for the stove, a fact I had forgotten when I called them. I had just set those pieces aside. They asked about them, and for a modest fee cut them to a usable size. They also, for no charge, cut a long branch that had fallen from one of the remaining trees. All in all I was highly impressed with their problem-solving ability, alertness and determination to do the best possible job. I?d contacted other companies that didn?t even want to look at the situation.

My sister had some trees taken down, and I wanted the wood to burn for next winter. These guys came out and took care of it. They had a fly wheel driven splitter, which is way faster than the hydraulic ones i've seen in the past. And they didn't lollygag at all, they definitely weren't trying to pad their hourly rate. It was constant work the entire time they were there. There was a misunderstanding, mostly on my part, regarding the clean up of all the sawdust in the street. One phone call, and they came right back over and took care of the issue. I already have them scheduled to come to my house to cut up some logs I've been meaning to get to but haven't.
