Dennis and Jimmie are fabulous! We had a lock issue on our storage unit when we were trying to put everything on storage. They were so kind and gracious and waited patiently for the locksmith to show up before they could proceed with the move. They were so very careful with our things, carefully wrapping g everything for long term storage. I would use them hundred times again they were that good. Love NY Great Movers…..on time, careful, stayed until everything was placed just right….i highflying recommend

The crew from Great Movers that moved us did an outstanding job that greatly exceeded my expectations. They were fast, efficient, and friendly. It was clear that they knew what they were doing. They were on time, and as soon as they arrived, they wasted no time in starting to load the truck. We moved from a three bedroom house with two kids (which means we had a lot of items to move!) and the team had all our items packed in about three hours. Once we arrived at our new location, they had everything out in about an hour and a half. They handled all our furniture and boxes with care, and not a single item was damaged in the move. I would definitely recommend them!

This is my 4th time using Great Movers since 2019, and it certainly will not be my last. They are incredibly responsive, professional, and efficient. I think they're one of the best companies I've worked with and I would recommend them to anyone in the NYC area needing movers.

With Great Moving & Storage, it all depends upon the crew you get. The first move went well. The crew were all careful with our belongings and appreciative of their tip. The second move did not go well at all. I tipped them more than the customary tip of $10 per hour for each crew member. They actually asked for a bigger tip. Not wanting a confrontation, I gave them an additional tip just short of $19 per hour for each crew member. They proceeded to ask for more. I told them the tip was more than generous and left it at that. I later discovered they had left marks and a large gouge in the stairwell walls. I had contacted management of my experience and have not heard back from them. It's now two weeks later. If you use their services, make sure you request their top notch crew and hold the company to your expectations.

Great. The scheduling and contract arrangement was straightforward with everything in writing and no hidden fees. Danny and his team were very knowledgeable, careful and professional. They arrived early and were very efficient. They paid excellent attention to detail. The move very easy because of their hard work. The movers were excellent! They handled all of my furniture and belongings with care. This is the second time I have used them for a move and I will never use anyone else!
