 + 0 moreWas very disappointed with the quality of work this last time. Workers had to be supervised by homeowner throughout entire process to achieve desired results. Multiple times, the work had to be stopped and redone to homeowner's satisfaction. The last straw was the mulching and pruning. Mulch piled on top of plants and heaped at the base of shrubs and trees. Homeowner had to remove excess mulch and pull it off of plants, ground covers, etc. Mulch was full of weeds within a week.
Description of Work: Have used Colonia Nursery multiple times in last years for various landscaping needs.

Description of Work: Colonial nursery landscaped a front hill that followed the sidewalk and swept up one side of the driveway. Of all the nurseries and landscape contractors I talked with, Colonial submitted the landscape design with unusual plant material with different leaf textures, bloom periods and most were deer resistant. Colonial's design had the added advantage that no retailing wall were required and all the other designs called for extensive retaining walls. The landscape material have been in place for one year and all the slopes are stabilized with no erosion. I am very satisfied with the design, the implementation and how the plant material over wintered. Based on my experiences last year, I had Colonial re-mulch all the new and existing plant beds and apply plant fertilizer early in the spring.

 + 0 moreI spoke with him in April to let him know that 2 of the bushes had died. I have called and left messages several times. He stopped in around June/July and looked at them and left. I have not heard anything since. I went to go see him 2 weeks ago and left a note and a copy of the bill so he could follow up with me. He still has not gotten back with me. I would not recommend him to others.
Description of Work: I purchased 9 bushes that he planted.

 + -1 moreThe work started a little later than they said, but it was a rainy spring. I thought Colonial Nursery provided good service. They had good communication. Their prices were fair considering where I stayed. I?d give them a positive review.
