I should have known better when it took 2 months to receive a proposal that communication was going to be a problem. We were reminded several times that our "small job" was not a priority, had another contractor in to finish wall repair at an additional cost. Quality of workmanship was not what I expected. Would not hire again.

I received their services from Lowes . Lowes recommended them and i was very satisfied with there service for my shower doors I am now having a kitchen backslplash done and I asked Lowes if possible Emmerson Brothers could do and they agreed

Emerson Brothers is based out of New Jersey but they have roots in Breezy Point and the Rockaway areas. Allen Emerson is the contractor. Megan, his wife, does the initital visit along with Samantha, her assistant. Samantha has kept me UTD on the progress of the permits and certificates (along with the architect) The price seems fair. I had several estimates. They weren't the cheapest, but they weren't like others that seemed to be taking advantage of a bad situation. The job is still in process. There were numerous delays in the initiation because of D.O.B. paperwork and permits, etc. But now the blueprints are done, the paperwork and fees are done and the demo and the reno have begun. I anticipate a timely completion once things start in ernest. I know this because of other jobs they have done in this devastated community.

I asked Emerson to come out and give an estimate as wanted some renovations in a number of my rooms of my new apartment. They were not very responsive to begin with but I managed to connect via their Facebook page. We organized a time- they were a bit late on the day but not too bad. We spent a decent amt of time going through each of my rooms and what I wanted done.. The two people who came out were nice seemed professional. But- it has been almost 5 weeks and they have not come back to me with an estimate. I have followed up several times, the last time 5 days ago and have had no response. It is not a way to run a business and shows a complete lack of respect for someone. I had been waiting on the quote to make a decision and now am delayed in moving forward with the work.
