THE POLITE PLUMBER

On Christmas Eve, the Polite Plumber responded quickly to our needs to unclog a water line. The technician was diligent and worked tirelessly to determine the source of the problem. When the problem reoccurred two days later, the company's owner visited and sent someone out the next day to resolve all the issues. It took a while, but eventually everything was completed satisfactorily.

I have used this company many times. They are wonderful. I would recommend them to anyone with a small repair to major plumbing work that needs to be done. They are very responsive and will work around your shcedule to set up an appointment. They are always right on time if not 5-10 min early. Their service men are clean, respectful and honest. They always do a complete job making sure the problem is total fixed and cleaning up after themselves. I am thrilled to have found them and will be using them to remodle my bathroom soon.

He was very good and thorough. However, it was a little pricey. He was timely and professional. I would recommend their services.

Water heater developed a sizable leak on a Sunday morning. Called them and got their answering service. They called back within a half hour. There was an issue regarding the availability of the water heater I needed. This was resolved quickly and they scheduled an arrivial at my house in about an hour. They arrived on time. Replacing the water heater was quickly completed. Everything was cleaned up well. And the price was resonable, especially for a Sunday. I know, we all like to complain about the price of plumbers, but I have to give them some slack on this. I think that it was fair.

I think very favorably of them because they are extremely professional. They bring a book with information on all of the work that they will do with guaranteed prices. This makes everything much easier when figuring out how much a job will cost.

They are very efficient, they have a set list of prices so you always know what it is going to cost, and they come quickly even when it isn't an emergency.

Someone called to let us know that the serviceman was on his way. He was a nice guy and did the job fairly quickly. They called us back right away and they were able to do the work the same day we called, which was important. I felt that they were a little expensive. I would definitely use their service again but I would get like a pricing or estimate first.

. I was going away on a long trip and I had to get the leak under the sink repaired. So I called them and they came down and it turned out to be a small leak for which they charged me $350. The explanation was that he had to fix that then there was some rust or some leak coming from another twist the water off and on and they had to replace that. So what they do is that they take one entire job and would price it, as to come to your house say that would be $100. If you have another leak that would be another job and they would charge another $100. Not a $100 and then say a $25 or a $30 for the other one. So I was totally very upset about the whole thing. Since I leaving the next day on a flight to Europe and I dealt with them when I returned, which was a month later. The owner said he could give us a 10% discount. Well that is not the issue it is how you deal with business. He was here for 45 minutes and he billed me a $350 for a leak under the sink. That is outrageous. They itemise each job individually. I would not recommend them. The owner justifies himself by stating that they come on time, they leave the place clean, and that they are polite. But that should not cost me $350. What about the other issues. That did not make any sense. Repairing a leak under the sink is not a major project. I will never use this company in the future.

It went well and was very good. They were just very prompt, polite and they were able to fill our needs and what we were looking for. I would recommend them.

Plumber came within 10 minutes of call. Plumber was very courteous, prompt and professional. He diagnosed problem quickly (about 10 seconds) sink sprayer needed to be replaced. Charge to replace sprayer was $185. While I was happy that he found the problem so quickly, I opted to replace the sprayer myself and just pay the service fee. If the price was reasonable this would be a great service. I'm scared to think what a real emergency might cost.

They are polite, but expensive! They tried to charge me $1000 for a new toilet and claimed it was expensive because there is a smaller ruff for my toilet, this is after they charged me for each visit and each repair. FYI you can buy a new toilet at Home Depot for $300 at the most. I also asked them for a price on installing a water softener that I had already purchased. Their price $1500, other plumbers $750.

It was wonderful. They were very good and answered the phone. They were here all the time. They double check and were very courteous.

Paul was very professional describing what was wrong and what needed to get done to fix all of our problems. He then followed through to resolve all of the plumbing issues. During this time we discussed a maintenance plan so that we could also receive a discount for each repair call as well as a yearly check up call. It was good advice because with the discount it almost saved us enough to cover the cost of the plan. I would recommend using Polite Plumber because they are exactly what you would want if you had any plumbing issues. Fast, knowledgeable and definitely polite.

I thought they were wonderful and their price was extremely reasonable. The faucet he put in, he did not need the line that came with it so he did discount the price since I would not have known this and this showed his honesty and integrity of the company. He was nice and prompt. They called the day before to confirm the appointment. Every time I called I was able to speak to someone personally and I did sign up with them for a contract price and they will give a reduced rate and send coupons via email too. I had a very good experience.

I had no heat and I could hear the water running during the night. I thought they would fix the gas furnace as well as the water leak but they did not. The person who came was upfront in telling them that he would not fix the furnace and advised me to call someone who can. The price was very expensive.

They did an excellent job. Most impressive was that they charge by the job, not by the hour. So you don't feel like you want them to finish quickly and they're not rushed. They concentrate on doing the job completely and right the first time! Also, Willy explained ahead of time any and all alternatives and what each would cost up front. This allowed me to know what the price would be and to them if they should move forward with the job or not. Overall they did a great job. Even backfilled the hole I dug in the yard to expose the septic tank.

The person who responded came as scheduled and surveyed the work to be done. A detailed list of recommended work was given, which included everything expected and included a recommendation that saved some money. Work was done but a small leak was discovered the next day. A plumber was dispatched to correct the problem and it was handled. I would use this company again.

Jim and Aaron were very responsive. They were very professional and friendly (Oh yeah... and POLITE) Jim arrived first and gave me a line item list of the pricing estimates for the requeted items. Upon some sound advice from Jim, we decided to hold off on some the "repairs". We decided which items would be worked on and Jim and soon there after Aaron corrected the issues. I was a little surprised at the price for the draining/reseal of plug and replacement. But overall we were happy with the work that was done. Thanks

Overall they were excellent. I found the professionalism of the phone staff and technician outstanding. I suppose the price was "fair". But to unclog a drain it seemed a little on the high side, but I didn't compare prices because I needed it done fast. But then again everything home repair related seems high priced these days.

They were on time and very professional. They put on shoe covers when they entered the house. They were priced higher than I expected. They installed the equipment on Friday and on Sunday we had a leak from a defective part. They were very responsive and took care of the water damage very quickly.

Office staff and plumber, Jim, were all very helpful. Jim was able to come out the same day I called, and he had the parts on truck needed to make the repair. would call them again for plumbing work.

Came, found problem, fixed it -- and didn't cost an arm and a leg, (in my opinion.) Could not schedule an appointment for a few days -- although I told them it was not an emergency. (We could go without using that shower for a few days). Not sure whether they could have come immediately had it been a true "emergency."

He was very neat, polite and professional. He did a great job. Everything works and doesn't leak. He was very professional and was very quick to respond.

Joe arrived within 3 hours of my placing a call to the company and proceeded to narrow down the reason for the leak. Once he determined the problem he was able to fix it in about 30 minutes. He was courteous and professional at all times.
