It wasn't good. It took me multiple emails just to get in contact with them and then they refuse to come to my house to do the service. So I sent them a picture of my house and it didn't work out right. I was able to utilize the big deal but not properly. They're supposed to come to your house and take pictures at different angles and do a work up of it. It just never worked out like that. They said, "Oh, you've fallen of our range. We don't come to them." She goes, "Well, you send me a picture." I sent them a picture and it wasn't good. It all ended there. So I'm very disappointed. They never came. They were supposed to come.

First set of designs were so bad we called up and complained. The head of the dept. called us up to apologize and said she will give us a refund and give us new designs. Got the designs which were barely ok (at best) and never got the refund. Called to remind them of the refund and they never returned our call or the refund.

Very pleased with quality, workmanship, professionalism and price. He scheduled the work then came and did it quickly and efficiently at a price in the ball park for a high quality door.

This deal went really well. They did a nice job.

The handiworkers were prompt and did the job as advertised. Price was a little high but they did a food job. They seemed very knowledgable.

We decided to go with them because they've been around for a while. They were efficient and thorough. They were pretty professional.

After the initial visit we were impressed with the professionalism. Everything was explained well to us. Also the execution went overall smooth and professional. There were two downsides, first we feel that the post-work cleanup could have been better; almost a year later we are still finding roofing nails, shingle pieces and pieces of siding metal around the house. Second, after the project was completed we noticed a small area that needed rework, it was very difficult to have somebody come back out. While the lady on the phone was understanding and helpful, the person you finally came to the house did not fix the complete issue and add to that forgot a chisel and hammer in the front yard (while we were away). Despite repeated calls and discussions with the scheduling person, nobody ever came back to fix the issue nor to pick up the tools. This was and is a considerable downside to a job otherwise well done.

.It was fine, he done a few designs. He did not came when he supposed to but he give me seven designs instead of five. The designs were house designs for the exterior of the house, stone walls. He came a few months ago. He sent everything by email. We didn't follow-up because I was not sure to do continue the work.

They were very good. The only issue I had was the price they quoted me for the project. They were very professional overall, however.

Our sales person Brian was extremely professional, and very patient in explaining our options and helping us work through all the decision points. The foreman, Horatio, came to the house a few times before starting work to make sure things went smoothly. He and Oliver and the whole crew showed up at the designated time each day, and did a very professional job. They finished quickly, and left us with a beautiful new look to the house. It was a very good experience - start to finish.

It took a while to schedule the work and there were some extensive delays with one of their subcontractors. Eventually all contracted work was performed although some finish work was left to me. Be prepared to manage the project and you will be pleased with the results.

The various craftsmen (mason, carpenter, gutter installer) gave us welcome advice on how best to make these improvemnts to our house. The whole job took longer than expected, but the quality of work is very good.

They were on time and professional. They came and gave a report on the roof to check the attic. The report covered what I would have to do.

Wanting an estimate giving exact area of roof repair. First they could not make an appointment and came while nobody was home, left phone message that they took pictures of the entire building and they said not knowing what to do; next they made a new appointment but never showed; messages left for an new appointment were never answered. An estimate was never received. It never came to start the job because no estimate was ever received.

The inspector came out & said everything was ok. However, my wife & I selected one color from their chart & when the roof was installed it was the wrong color. We very disappointed & went to Angie's List for help. They recognized their mistake & were willing to make it correct by returning a small amount of money. The quality of workmanship was very good though & they also gave us 50-year guarantee. We ended up satisfied with the result & the way Angie's List helped us out.

From the get go the person was only interested in selling a new roof. He had a satellite download of my house which turned out to be the wrong house. He spent a few hours showing us how the new roof would look and how it would solve issues. My roof is not ready to be replaced as of now and only a few tiles were loose due to which there was some water leakage.

My mother had a leaky roof and instead of repairing it we thought it was time to replace it. Roeland did a superb job with the roof, but soon after we noticed some aluminum siding bent, twisted, curled up, and even missing in some places. Also the gutters were never cleared of old shingle debris and nails. it wasn't until September (8 months later) that the contractor came back to deal with the lingering left over issues. Previous attempts to get the contractor to make good had me driving (18mi away) to my mother's house only for them to not show. After 3 or 4 attempts to get this over with, they finally came back... I wish the reps Brian and Brenda were more customer service focused after the bill was paid in full. I used a "Big Deal" that included roofing maintenance and attic inspection. They conducted an attic inspection, gave me an estimate on the cost, and repaired our chimney flashings, which were in need of repair. All work was done promptly, both the estimator and the worker who did the roof were prompt and professional. The estimation they gave for attic ventilation was a bit high, and so I will probably do some comparisons before embarking on that project.

I find the ethics and morals of this company are awful. To take advantage of a terminally ill woman and not returning her deposit shows zero compassion and morals. I would never recommend or do business with this company. I hope all that read this review take into consideration my review and chose another vendor to complete their home improvement.

The job overall went very smooth. I was concerned about the weather, hoping it would not rain and hold up the job. The roof looks great and am very happy with it as I did have a few leaks with the older one. Roland Home Improvers I would recommend to my neighbors and friends. They are very good at what they do. I cannot praise them enough.

Everything went excellent. During the replacement after they tore the roof off a thunderstorm came through. They were able to cover it was tarp without and problems and came back the next day to finish.

For my part, we should have pursued them further but did not. I was already speaking with other contractors about the work we wanted to do and, frankly, did not have the time or the inclination to pursue Roeland. I was not very impressed by what they had already done and probably would not have considered them for any work on our home. I thought several times about writing a review but never took the time to do it. I appreciate your following up on this to allow me to describe our experience. Obviously, this package was a total waste of time and money for us. We would have pursued this more aggressively, if the amount was much greater. We went ahead and did all the work we had planned with another contractor and, overall, are very satisfied with their performance.

Michael Damora came out for an estimate, and he was great...curtious, imformative. We agreed to a price, gave a deposit, and waited for the work to start. Horacio, an installer, came out once to measure for the new deck door. Brenda from Roeland called one day to ask us if the installers could come out on short notice because it was too hot for them to continue the roofing job they had been working on, and we agreed to it. There were four men on the job. They had the late roofing job the day before and were tired. They finished the windows quickly. The door, installed by Horacio, was the last to be finished. I thought a part of the saddle on the newly installed deck door looked strange, like it was too high, but thought they knew what they were doing. They left after two or three hours of work.The next day, we started tripping over the new saddle. My son and his teenage friends were tripping on it...even my dog tripped on it. That is when we started questioning Roeland. There is a metal strip sticking up from the middle of the saddle with rubber on it that is almost one inch above the saddle.Mark came out once to look at it and he couldn't tell us why Horacio built the saddle that way. My husband and I think that the door is too short and they put the raised part on the saddle because of that. We have an email from Mark stating that there is nothing they could do short of reinstalling a new door with a different height. I emailed Mark back and said that is what we think they should do. I have not heard from Roeland since. We sent several emails stating the the saddle is unsafe, and we are afraid someone will be injured. We have not used our deck for parties this summer because of the chance of a guest being injured, especially the elderly in our family.

They did good work, but I'm unhappy with their follow up. It has been difficult getting them back to replace some defective shingles around a dormer. Additionally, they have yet to make some adjustments to the malfunctioning storm door replacement, and they haven't provided the paperwork for the roof's 50-year GAF warranty. However, I haven't applied much pressure since the owner of the company has had some personal troubles as of late.

Couldn't have asked for a better experience.
