WOW!! Am I impressed. From the first call to Kope Electric to schedule an estimate, to Mr. Kope coming and doing the estimate. I was blown away. These guys always showed up on time. Did a professional job. Gave great quality and value and did the whole job quickly. I would recommend Kope Electric to anyone and have recommended them to many of my neighbors and friends. Arrived on-time, finished ahead of schedule right on budget. Excellent communication - discussed light location and pendant lamp height prior to cutting to make sure we were happy! Very respectful of our home and didn't even mind our dog.

Bought two year maintenance contract for my generator from Kope as a special. Company contacted me promptly and scheduled my first service appointment. Technician showed up on time and was very professional and knowledgeable.

An inexperienced/inept contractor had installed a generator for us and we parted ways with him when we discovered he neglected to pull permits for the work. We called Kope in for a consultation and they verified that not only was the generator not big enough to power our whole home (as was our intention) but it was installed illegally. We hired them to guide us through the permit process, and bring the generator up to code which included piping a gas line through the garage, installing the correct sized pipes and fixing several mistakes with the electric. They were prompt, professional and knowledgable and coordinated seamlessly with the plumber they recommended to complete that part of the generator installation. We now have have a safe, operating, legal generator. I would recommend Kope without hesitation and will use them for my future electrical needs.

Install was fine. Service had a problem once-oil change resulted in overfilling oil a lot and could have ruined engine. This happened when the regular serviceman had a trainee with him, so maybe the trainee made a very bad mistake. I learned about the problem because it just happened that my son is a certified Generac electrician and he just happened to check oil level. I would be happy with the service but check the oil after they do it if there is a trainee involved . I was returned my payment, so he at least made good on that, and seemed very concerned, so I don't think this is typical for Kope, but it happened.

Very professional. Showed up on time and performed the work as promised. There was one issue that came up after the work had been completed. The owner came by himself to remedy the situation immediately and at no charge. Good honest business that I highly recommend.

Very well - Kope was a pleasure to work with. They were professional, engaged and attentive to the specifics of the job - making sure that the plan and execution of the plan was to my liking. There was a mishap during the project and Kope electric took full responsibility and corrected the issue without question.

Kope Electric came out and gave us an estimate for a transfer switch install. Jeremy was punctual and answered all questions regarding install. Kope also applied for the necessary permits, which was a big help. The day of install went well with no problems. Two electricians came out and install took about 3 hours. We even hooked up the generator, simulated a power outage and were instructed on how to use the switch. Afterward, Kope completed the permit paperwork and mailed us all necessary documents. Very satisfied with their service.

After contacting Kope Electric and sending several pictures and descriptions of work to be performed a very nice person took all information and said it would be reviewed and they would get back to me soonest (three conversations and sounded like a very good answering service)..Nobody got back to by phone or email.

Kope Electric took care of all details with great profesionalism, and expert care from initial consultation, acquiring of permits, installation location to handling of inspections and start up, with a thorough explanation of my unit's operation to maintenance procedures! Very satisfied with whole experience!

We didn't use Kope for the job, since they were unable to guarantee doing the work for 2-3 weeks. However, they got back to us within an hour or so of leaving a message with their answering service and offered to fit in a house call to develop an estimate for the work the next day. The representatives were extremely helpful and professional. I would consider using Kope for any future work, based on their responsiveness.

They were very responsive to my Angie's List message. They arrived on time and completed the job quickly. We have an old house and they brought the outlet up to code and got our dryer working after an hour's work. Very please and would use them again.

It went extremely well. This was the second time using Kope and the technicians are always professional and courteous. The work was done in minimal time; he went upstairs to the attic split one of the wires we had running there and then made a small hole to take the wire out on the side of our home for the security floodlight. Finished in approximately 3 hours and for a very competitive price. Note, we did buy the light but for 3 hours of work the rate we felt was very competitive. Kope and his team will be our go to for any electric improvements or fixes.

I had Jeremy out to help me with details on getting a new/old house ready to live in. The crew that refurbished the house didn't pre-wire any cable or telephone wire, so that was up to us. I wanted the telephone outlet/FiOS router in the wet bar area. The FiOS installer couldn't handle that because of very tight quarters to run the wiring up from the basement. He suggested an electrician could handle that as well as bringing power and cable lines up to the two wall-mounted TVs I planned to have. I thought installing the telephone jack in the wet bar tile wall would be impossible, but Jeremy said it wouldn't be a big deal at all. Jeremy's crew did a very nice job of getting things just where I wanted them despite numerous obstacles. Getting the wiring up to the wet bar required some creativity and cutting the tile was a bit messy, but it turned out very nice. Likewise, they were able to get the TV connections in just fine. They cleaned up everything before they left. All-in-all, a very nice job and a good value for the money. Will definitely use Kope Electric again (I have more work waiting to be done).

I have found my electrician. No more shopping around. These guys were great from the start. I did get several estimates for this simple job. Kope was among the lowest. Jeremy Kope came out and did the estimate. He was friendly and thorough and answered all questions I had. He even offered suggestions. I had him estimate three different jobs. We will be doing the second job with them shortly. I got a good vibe from him. After the estimate I had questions about the project and every time i emailed them ... i got a prompt thorough response. We had to postpone the project because of personal reasons and the holidays and they were very patient with us. Never gave us a hard time or tried to hard sell us. Very pleasant and understandable. That means a lot. Mark and Chris came and did the installations. They were very professional and friendly. They left no mess behind. The work was top-notch. Not one complaint. They also answered all my questions ... even questions I had about the upcoming project. They were worth every penny. Money well spent on my part. I look forward to using them on our next project in our back room. THANK YOU!

They were very professional throughout, consulting with us about how we wanted it done, and showing us how to operate the system. Hopefully, we won't have another storm like Sandy, but at least we will have power for much of the house if we do. I recommend them highly.

I e-mailed Monday morning, Jeremey got right back to me and gave me a 2:30 appt. I got home early and they were there waiting. They quickly identified the problem and had it fixed in under one hour. Same day service, prompt, courteous, efficient and the price was right. I couldn't ask for more.

This time we called Jeremy on short notice when we weren't happy with the GC's recommended electrician. SInce we were ready to begin work, jeremy came out quickly and got us a detailed written estimate and was ready to start work on our schedule. He was very responsive throughout and did a terrific job. Took care of all the details.
