Princeton Tree Care

First off - the better part. They are punctual and responsive when you call or email. They show up on time. Now for the part that did not go well: I bought a deal on Angies List that says 1500 for 2900 worth of work with some exclusions. I hoped to save about 1000 with the use of the deal - assuming that I will still pay some extra for the exclusions. I asked Princeton Tree Care to stop by and give a quote. The Quote was about 2800 for the entire thing. I asked them to apply the Angies list deal and send it back to me and the quote I got was 2650 for the entire thing. This is just not done. I asked them if there was any money remaining in the deal - in which case I can get some more work done at the same price. Their answer was 'No'. The deal is fully used and this is what it would cost after using the deal. Obviously - I felt cheated and did not proceed with the work. The quote was a terrible misrepresentation and the deal is just to lure you in with 45% savings and then offer something like 100 dollars of savings. I had a few other people come in and they quoted 40% below Princeton's price. Princeton guy was knowledgeable and punctual but very unreasonable!!

They came on time, did the service as agreed, and cleaned up everything.

The crew was on time as promised and ready to go. The tree that I thought would take quite a long time to rig so it would fall safely was done in nothing flat. The crew ground up all of the stuff that could be chipped in an industrial chipper and sawed the entire rest of the tree into pieces and loaded it up on trucks to haul away. They racked and blew the lawn, cleaned the street and in the end it was like nothing had happened at all. The crew dumped the first load and came back with empty trucks and promptly went to work on the other side of the house cleanup. Again they did a great job, chipped or hauled away anything that needed to go and cleaned up after themselves. Multiple times during both jobs the the guys checked in with me to make sure they were doing all that I expected (and they were). One final check with me in the end and off they went.

The salesman was very friendly and courteous. He listened to what I wanted and then made some wonderful suggestions to help me avoid paying for unnecessary stuff. The workmen were professional and were there half an hour before they were scheduled to be there. They completed the job and left before I got to the house. When I arrived at the house I noticed that they didn't grind a stump that was hidden in the grass. I called them and they returned that same day to finish the job. Very professional and do great work without breaking the bank!

Great, after a minor delay due to understandable inclement weather and equipment repair. The crew arrived as scheduled and with limited access to the trees, adjusted on the spot and did a truly amazing job. They proceeded industriously and safely for approximately nine hours, not only dropping all 4 trees, but also cutting them to my specified lengths(21 inches) and piling them up for me. After doing all that, they proceeded to clean the whole area, much nicer than what it was originally. I would wholeheartedly recommend Princeton Tree Care to anyone. Additionally, I want to acknowledge everyone there from the owner, Tim, (who personally kept me up to date on the schedule) the office worker, Liz, the estimator, Sean, and especially the crew of John, Scott and Ryan. the service was wonderful! quick and efficient. on the pricing scale, they werent the cheapest, but werent the most expensive. either way, the quality of company and service was certainly worth the slight price difference. i would absolutely go with them again in the future!

Princeton Tree Care was awesome. Our family had a huge dead dangerous tree removed from our parents property. Princeton Tree Care beat the price of other estimates, were very responsive via phone and text keeping us up to date on the progress, workers were extremely courteous and the job was done within a few hours. They even noticed a small crack in sidewalk caused by the removal and came back months later when the weather warmed up to repair it. We will definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone.

Overall good. Had to have them come back because they missed a section on one tree. Otherwise, good job. Pleasant to deal with.

It went well. Best part was that I did not have to be there.

Hard working crew got a lot done in 7 hours

They are very knowledgeable with horticulture. They are more than just tree people. They have a large knowledge of the trees, the plants, diseases and they are very on the ball. I use them all the time. I used them last year all year and I’m getting ready to use them this year.

They removed a 35+ foot tree in our backyard and ground out the stump. Yard is not accessible for their lift, so they climbed the tree to cut it down. Ground out the entire stump, removed all branches and debris and left the yard perfectly clean. Excellent work!

We are very pleased start to finish. Sean came out initially to see what needed to be done and to get the service scheduled. The crew was out here within a week and completed all we asked for. We will be calling on Princeton Tree Care in the future, for sure!

Sean was great at evaluating and presenting my options. What I just couldn't understand is why they would advertise on Angie's List that for $750, you would get a $1399 of service. If you look at my invoice below, you'd notice that my true discount is $608.18, not $750 as advertised so to me, this is border false advertisement. In the grand scheme of things, the difference is nothing in terms of overall cost when compare to the amount of work that was done, but I just feel that the math was a bit sneaky. The work is top notch nevertheless.

Excellent. They contacted me before they arrived and did the work when I wasn't home. I requested that they leave me some wood and they neatly stacked it where I requested. I would definitely recommend this company for your tree needs and will be using them again in the future.

Job was handled very well. Sean came to inspect, and I was so grateful for his flexibility as I mixed up the appointment time. He was very gracious. He also made useful and appreciated suggestions! Also, Chris was very responsive, keeping in close contact with me with both of our difficult schedules. All the work and recommendations were thoroughly explained. The trimming came out great!
