Even with a home insulation team running in and out of the house and a Tree Cutting Crew taking down two trees while doing their landscape work, they were able to do everything on time and even better than I had envisioned. The landscape lines were crisp where they needed to be and soft where I wanted them to be. Next year when I do my backyard project I will be calling them."

Initially they came out to do repairs, and kept saying this shouldn't be happening and seemed perplexed why this kept on occurring. It is now the 6th or 7th time in 2 years this has happened, and after repeated phone calls/emails....they WILL NOT respond. In my opinion....they're crooks! Save your money!! Any landscaping business with integrity would get to the bottom of this issue...instead of plopping a bandage on it. And just to be clear...our previous patio never had this issue."

Topsoil should go down first. If the topsoil is next to your house, make sure the grade slopes away from the house to keep water from pooling against your foundation and possibly leaking into your basement or crawl space. Don’t cover your decorative landscape mulch with topsoil as that defeats the purpose of laying down the mulch. If you’re trying to create a certain soil composition to improve plant growth, you’ll likely want compost mixed into the topsoil instead of mulch.
