Charged me 3.5hrs of labor (507$) for 45 minutes of actual labor. Sent an unprepared team that lacked knowledge to do a job which ended up wasting a ton of time on a call asking how to do the job and 45+ minutes to go retrieve materials they should have had on hand to begin with. They even charged me for the time it took to get the missing materials as well as the time it took the tech over the phone to figure out how to bill me (30+ minutes). Over all extremely unsatisfied with how unethical this is, the techs should have reported the correct time (I have video proof) but they just reported total time being at my home. They can keep the money and lose a customer. If you are going to use them ensure you are watching what they’re doing so you don’t get over charged or better yet call someone else!

Amazing company, helpful, on point and above and beyond the call of duty. The installers left at 2 am and we had heat, the house was warm, clean and they took the old system with them. Fantastic crew and company! Can't praise them enough. Gardner Family

Company doesn't file documents with NJ Natural Gas, when inquiries are made, no response provided. Took $3000 cash deposit 5 months ago.

I have absolutely nothing bad to say about everyone I've dealt with in this company! Wendy kept me posted on everything, the men who came initially to see the job and those who actually did the work were all polite, professional and friendly. They did their job quickly and competently. They answered all my questions, did all the footwork, applying for permits and handling the inspections, all I have to do is enjoy a heated house. I would highly recommend them.

We have had hot water issues since our last boiler servicing by another company. The service professional from T Daniel took his time to listen to the issues we were having and determined what the issue was. The quality of our hot water has improved dramatically since the servicing. I highly recommend T Daniel Specialty Heating.

Work was scheduled in several days after the call to the office. We were pleasantly surprised when we received a call asking if they could come sooner. Work was done quickly and repair men were professional and courteous.

The crew promptly arrived and did a great job removing the old 30 year old boiler and installing a new boiler and hot water heater tank. All the plumbing work was top notch. Highly recommended.

T. Daniel has serviced out air conditioners for many years, and they replaced both of the original A/C units in 2005. Routine maintenance service on these units has been excellent. They have also serviced our heating system as well (gas, hot water), but recently this service became dependent on the person who did the servicing. In 2014 another company replaced the furnace and hot water tank, and they took over all our HVAC servicing since then due to lower contract cost for the combined units. We are planning to move out of the present home in the near future.

Getting Tim to our house was easy, and I explained exactly what we wanted done: gas hookups for everything possible and a new boiler. However, the people he sent to do the work and the people in the office were mostly rude and kept pushing our job further and further back. This was very frustrating. After the boiler was installed and the gas hookups run out to the different areas they needed to be they had to come back as they hadn't actually finished the job. Our fireplace's hook-up was in the basement, not in the fireplace, and the gas grill hook-up hadn't been done at all. In addition, one of the radiator valves was broken by a workman when he opened it with his wrench. This involved another visit to get it replaced and then Tim tried to charge me $400 even though I had supplied the part ($20) and the workman did the job in about 15 minutes. After the radiators seemed to not be working correctly (spitting vents and the closest radiators not really getting hot while the ones further away were VERY hot) I decided to investigate. The boiler was not piped correctly at all, this was evidenced by looking at the instructions that came with the boiler. This would also void the warranty on the boiler if something goes wrong and they see that the piping was not done according to their instructions. Tim will not come out and fix the work even though the contract has a 1 year labor warranty. The price i was quoted was a decent price, but adding in the headache of constantly calling to try and get this work done as well as the headache of trying to get the work fixed makes the price feel extremely expensive.

They were great! Our burner was leaking and was on its last leg. They responded very quickly (on a Friday) with an estimate and Tim, the owner, took a great deal of time explaining the various burners available and what the differences were and even took phone calls over the weekend with my questions. He then not only secured the burner we wanted, but managed to have it installed on Monday. His men were extremely polite and very professional, taking great care not to damage anything in the removal of the old leaky boiler. Chris, who was the lead on the job, was wonderful and explained everything to my husband as he went along and after completion. They had the entire job done in one day as promised and we were extremely pleased and would highly recommend them for all anyone's heating, A/C and plumbing needs! Penny Steinhardt

Everything went as expected, however because this was done in the middle of winter during some very cold days when they had a lot of emergency calls, I had to follow-up with them to get the work scheduled, despite assurances that they would return my calls. Chris who did the work was great, but he was running late at a previous job and I had to call to find out when he would be at my house. The office staff was helpful and the work that was done was great, but communication had a bit to be desired.

Excellent and efficient across the board. Very happy with them and have already hired them for another job. Highly recommend.

Provider promised a quote but never provided one. We followed up 3 weeks later, were again promised the quote. It was extremely annoying to be left hanging. Apparently, the provider thinks it's better to lie about their commitment to submitting a quotation, rather than frankly admit no interest in the proposed project.

A pipe had frozen and they got everything fixed and back up and running.

While converting to gas heat, I decided to have central a/c installed. Mr. Daniel, a local contractor, came to my house for an estimate and I found him congenial, easy to talk to. During the planning process, I visited his office a couple of times to square away details, as other contractors were involved and timing was essential. His office manager was exceptionally pleasant and helpful. The work was performed in conjunction with two other contractors, and it all went smoothly. The work was performed on time, and I have been enjoying the a/c all summer.

I have been with them for a number of years. One technician in particular knows my system very well. I always request him since he know my system and house. He is very reliable.

Currently having trouble with them getting back to me about an on going issue.

Our town has very hard water and hot water had become a trickle in the washer. Repairman opened the hose connection, cleaned out the mineral deposit. Very expensive lesson as job took barely five minutes.

It went very well. the technician arrived promptly at the scheduled time. He checked out the furnace. he told me it needed more than a cleaning. It needed servicing as well. i was also told he needed to do the cleaning to be able to find if there were other problems or if it needed replacing. He explained all the possibilities. I gave my cc # to the office and left for work. The technician called a couple of hours later. It was done and there were no major parts that needed replacing. The charge was higher than just a cleaning which i knew ahead of time. I did not ask up front but the charge was reasonable. i don't know anything about furnaces and when my boyfriend came home from his business trip he was pleased with the work and the price.

From my first visit to their office until the old boiler was removed, all within a week, my experience with T. Daniel Heating was very positive. Henry, who runs the office, was extremely helpful. Tim, who owns the company, did the estimate. He was knowledgeable, informative, and nice to deal with.. I really can't say enough about Mike and Chris who installed the new boiler. They obviously take pride in their work and it showed. They did a fantastic job. Based on my experience, I would not hesitate to recommend this companyr. They also provide oil burner service and sell fuel oil.

Central air conditioning system in my home was not cooling properly. Called service provider and set appointment. Received call from technician that he was running late and would be at site two hours later than arranged. I told him that was fine. About an hour later received another call that technician would be at other site for the balance of the day but someone would be at my home shortly. A technician showed up a few minutes later and began inspection of system. He diagnosed a low level of freon and showed me how he determined the low level. He was efficient and knew his job. While we were waiting for the system to fill, he let drop that he was the owner of the company! He explained that he did not want to make us wait for another day with a non-working system. I was very impressed by his commitment to his customers and will definitely be calling him for any HVAC problems I have in the future. I thought the price for the service was extremely reasonable.

Thorough and efficient from start to finish. Punctual, professional, respectful of the property, expert installation. Fair and honest. No nonsense. Answers questions and communicates clearly. Left the house pleasantly with a friendly, rassurring,"call us if you need anything."

I have had them out for the air conditioning several times over the past few years. At one point the whole house air conditioner stopped working. During that time, they spent several days trying to solve the problem and get the air conditioner working again. I was very impressed by their commitment to resolving the issue. I had them out for plumbing when I noticed a leak under the sink. Due to bad weather he couldn't come out right away. When the weather cleared, he came out and fixed the leak promptly. The technician was very knowledgeable and gave me some pointers on what to do to prevent the problem from reoccurring. I will be contacting them for all future plumbing and heating and a/c maintenance. I wil certainly hire them again and highly recommend them to anyone.
