Description of Work: I am not sure of the exact dates, because its so long ago. I'm estimating by the time of year. This is the company that put the A/C in our new home. We moved in in July of 2009. They didn't work when we turned them on in the summer of 2010. We called them and one needed a new condenser. Not even a year old. About $1000. Within the next few weeks the other one broke. Apparently, it had a leak, that could not be found, but was refilled with coolant. Another $700. Guess what? The summer of 2011, they wouldn't start up. Again they quoted us in the $1000.+ cost. I started smelling a rat. The man who came to my house, yelled at my dog to "shut up", and proceeded to walk around my home while talking on his cell phone, on what seemed to be a personal call. I was pretty Irritated when I found I was being charged by the 1/2 hour. I would never call this company again, they don't stand up for their products, and I feel as though they either didn't fix the problem, or went to cost extremes to take advantage. I called the company, and threatened a law suit, and guess what? This year they worked fine. They're scammers. Beware.

Description of Work: Called for information to install a Humidifier for my home. Spoke with Kristen who assurred me I would get a call back from the person who installs this product. That was approx. 87 weeks ago. Because of your A rating for Menser's Heating and Air Cond. Co. I'll assume this to just "falling through the cracks". However as we get closer to the fall season, I will begin to make inquires to other firms. Because of the non- response from Menser's, I did not follow up. Your format does not allow me to submit my experience unless I fill in dates, etc which are approximate. Again my neighbor had a good experience with them.

 + -1 moreCall Menser's Heating/AC due to an intermittent problem on our furnace. The unit would try several times to light (2 or 3 times) before it would ignite. Occassionally it would shut down completely after 3 times and I would have to turn the power to the furnace off then on, then it would work again. I called the company at noon time on Friday, right after a 7inch snowstorm the night before. They called and said they would be at the house before 5PM. They arrived at 2PM. The serviceman was very professional and tested the furance with several test equipment and by manually isolated several components in the unit. The air induction blower was not showing the correct reading on the meter. The blower was replaced and the furnace has been operating without a problem since. Warranty on the part covered the price of the blower and diagnostics and time was all I had to pay for. It was nice to have service from an honest company for once. I was very satisfied with the service and highly recommend them
