The Handyman arrived on time and was shown what needed to be done. Sanding , a small area of 3 different walls, paining the area’s concerned and to reset and apply filler to the baseboard underneath the countertop. We were completely happy with the work and will hire them again when Needed

I redeemed the 4 hour coupon deal, got an email from Angi with a redemption code. HVS did not call me back. I called HVS directly on Friday 8/13/21 and left a voicemail. I called again on Monday 8/16/21 and spoke with Himanshu. He knew nothing of my redeeming the 4 hour deal, of being sent an email by Angi or of my calling him last Friday. When I told him that the email was from Aug 9, he then checked his email and admitted that he did receive an email from Angi on Aug 9. He stated that the deals were old, from 2018. He wasn't honoring the deal, and quoted me much more per hour. He said that I should contact Angi about the deal. I said that he should have advised Angi to remove the deals if they were old. That's misleading to the consumer. I asked him about his availability in approx 2 weeks time. He told me that they were about to start a big job. Because of all of the above, I told him that this would not work for me. Cannot recommend because of him not checking his emails, not getting back to me when I left a voicemail and not honoring the deal. Edit: You offered to give me a quote, but you told me that you were starting a big job and were not going to be available at the specific time that I had to get the work done. There was no point in getting a quote because you were not going to be available and I told you as such.

They did great work! Shower shall door was off the hinge and he adjusted it higher and put screws back in. Work was done well. Fire detector needed batteries and he advised a 10 year battery seal for home sale inspection. Other handy work removing tv from wall mount.

I received an invitation to quote from this company in response to my project details. I selected this company based on their ratings on Angie's List and the fact that their quote was in line with the two other quotes I received. The work was scheduled for completion on a Friday. The Thursday night before, the owner sent me a text message saying he could not complete the project on Friday and asked to reschedule for Monday. I agreed to reschedule. We spent Sunday afternoon clearing areas in the garage in preparation for the work and stored items inside the house to get them out of the way. It was a lot of work. On Monday morning, the owner sent another text cancelling the appointment and told us to find someone else to do the job or, get this, we could wait until an unspecified date in the future that he could do the work for us.....as if he was doing us a favor. We are extremely unhappy with the lack of professionalism and reliability of this company. We would not even consider using this company in the future.

himanshu and team reviewed the fixes we needed to perform for home sale. He was available very quickly and went through our list with careful eyes. He scheduled a repair date after review and arrived on time and documented all the repairs and what he performed. He was patient with us and we will definitely be reaching out to him for any home renovations or repairs.

I live in a 1950 Cape Cod house. There was a half inch gap between the shower tile and the tub. It was too deep for the caulking to hold. After texting pictures to Himanshu at HVS Home Improvement, he advised a ceramic tile (molding) be applied. Their friendly worker, Moreano, removed the mildew caulking and completed the job in 2 1/2 hrs. It looks great! He even adjusted the screen door on the way out! I would use them again!

They are very polite, and listen to any changes that you want done. They work with you. You have to be patient sometimes though because they sometimes have other projects. I would recommend them.

He did fantastic! He is always prompt his responses, they are reliable in terms of the time frame they give you, and better than average work. And the value isn't bad either.
