Frankie and his guys were professionals right from the start. He was always very responsive when I contacted him and got back to me within hours. His guys knew the job and were very neat. They took time in doing the project and you can tell that they take pride in what they are doing. I would recommend Scenic View to anyone that needs a little face lift on the property.

After seeing the numerous positive reviews here on Angie's List, I reached out to Frank to schedule an appointment to go over what was needed. Our property was extremely overgrown with many trees and bushes and there was a lot of debris. He came over at the time promised and went over what he suggested and listened to our feedback. At first I thought the price was a bit high, but after considering the work that was required, the price was more than fair. His work is amazing! Not only did he do a fantastic job, but he went above and beyond our expectations. His crew kept us informed about their progress and made sure we liked what they did. They are extremely professional -- which seems difficult to find these days -- and their work product is of the highest standards and quality. I highly recommend them -- you will NOT be disappointed!

They're good. They did everything I wanted them to do. They have been showing up weekly taking care of the lawn. They came over and did an estimate for free and that's how we got started. There was something important so I called and then he called me back. We discussed them and took care of it.

I was very pleased with Gary and his crew. They definitely did a great job sprucing up the shrubs in the front of my house. Looks great! I will definitely use them again.

Truthfully I don't know where to begin. We found Frankie and his team on Angie's list and we are certainly grateful we did. He was a class act right from the start. He listened, he was responsive, attentive, honest( yes, I said honest) and dedicated to doing a good job for us from the minute we met. He asked us what our budget was and he gave us some options to fit that budget. As we were working out the design, we would email back and forth (he would answer my emails at 11:00 @ night). His work was absolutely beautiful and his crew was a pleasure to work with. They are very efficient at what they do. He met all of his commitments and then some. He wasn't afraid of the set backs or obstacles that came up during the job and discussed the solutions with us as they occurred. He and his team are a well oiled machine and I would invite them back to do another job In a heart beat. This company is a breath of fresh air as they pride themselves in customer service and satisfaction. This is what we are missing today so I would highly recommend them and recommendations from me don't come easy. Frank is truly a pleasure to work with, and in my mind represents what all good contractors should be like. From our first meeting where he gave me a quote and pitched his services, all the way to the end of the engagement, he was thoroughly professional, truly listened to my family's and my own opinions and incorporated those into what he did, provided proactive advice to help me prioritize what I need, and conducted his work with the utmost integrity. I got Frank to do four projects for me at the same time: 1. Uplift the landscaping of my front yard 2. Clean the wild area in the very back of my back yard (about 2,000 sqft covered with saplings, dead leaves, small trees and other junk that the previous owner had left behind 3. Create a stone walkway connecting my front yard to the deck in the back 4. Fill 3 depressions in my yard with soil and grass seed My original intent was to do a lot more but Frank asked me for the budget I had in mind, and then worked with me to identify the most necessary things in my mind. He helped prioritize what I should do now vs what I can do in the future, and helped me stay in budget. I have found very few contractors willing to go above and beyond and do that. Most people just want to get more money and sometimes advise you to get things done that you don't even need. The work done was top notch and the price was reasonable. My family and I have covertly noticed random people walking on the street stop, stare at the landscaping in the front and comment on it. The clean-up job in the back left me with a wild space that is now pleasant rather than an eye-sore. Frank also pruned a line of shrubs separating my backyard from my neighbors for free. And with the stone walkway, Frank had originally quoted his price with small stones in mind, but when we discussed later I wanted larger stones which are more expensive. However, he got me those stones without charging more money. It is all these little things that made this experience even more pleasant.

We discovered Scenic View Landscaping on Angie's List and have used them several times in the past, and are always pleased with the results. Our yard needed attention; over the winter some of our older and overgrown shrubs (which had to be over 20 years old) sustained damage from the heavy snow storms we had over the winter. Some large branches just plain snapped due to the weight of the snow, making the shrubs look even more pathetic since they then had ugly bare spots. It was an eyesore. We contacted Frank and he came out to give us an estimate. He made some great suggestions and we scheduled the work to be done. The crew was here exactly when he told us they would be, and they performed their magic like usual. The ugly overgrown shrubs are gone, and replacing them is now a completely refreshed new landscape bed that totally fits our house (and our budget). They also did a Spring clean-up and put new mulch down, making everything look so clean and sharp. One thing we added too is landscape lighting along the walkway which I absolutely love.

I need to have new landscaping, the lawn ripped up and reseeded, new fence, a massive tree removed, new driveway, new path, sprinklers, and pavers put in around the pool. A minimum of a 40k job and no one can bother to call me back. They are 15 minutes away- seems worth it to me but I guess not to them. We really wanted to work with this company because of their reviews but they did not live up to our expectations.

We have been using Scenic View Landscaping for a couple of years now. We initially contacted Frankie to have landscaping down on my newly purchased, much older home which was in dire need of help and a face lift. Frankie worked with me to come up with a design that was both appropriate to the home and area, plus visually pleasing. The work was for landscaping and a new paver patio in our backyard area. We were very happy with the results as were our neighbors, which really meant a lot to us. We have continued to use Scenic View for periodic upgrades as budget allows and as our lawn maintenance service each spring/summer. The staff who come to do the mowing and cleanups are pleasant, professional and on time; and the owner himself is also easy to work with. Highly recommended. FYI - Prices seem fair to the area. The price I have added above was for the approx. cost of the initial landscaping overhaul. Prices vary depending on service.

Overall we are very pleased with the work that was done. Everything was clearly explained and Frank was very responsive and answered any questions we had. He also worked with us on the plants and trees we wanted. The crew came in and cleared one day and finished the job the next. In addition they trimmed our trees and bushes in the backyard that were severely overgrown. I lookout back and smile everytime I see them. Our property looks so manicured and beautiful!

Let me start by saying that this was no easy task, a fall cleanup had not been performed on my property for several years and I did not reach out to Scenic Landscape until November. Frank from Scenic Landscape immediately returned my call and came by my house within a few days to survey the property and provide a quote. Frank's crew arrived as promised early in the morning and completed the task by noon. Shrubs that were overgrown were professionally trimmed and leaves that we're underneath for years were removed. I was extremely pleased with the service that was provided by Scenic Landscape and look forward to call them again in the future.

Frank returned phone calls promptly and showed up when he said that he would. He listened to what I wanted to have done and I was very pleased with the results. He was professional and his workers were courteous,as well. I plan on using him again in the future.

It went amazingly well. Frank answered all my numerous questions about any planting that I didn't like and gave me several options that could be used. We emailed back and forth several times before I was happy with all the plantings. He and his crew came exactly on time and did the work in the one day he had promised. He even spoke with me during the day to alert me to a small change in the plant I wanted on the side yard. I would strongly recommend Frank to anyone thinking of having their property beautified.

Frank Vaughan was at our house each day his crew was working, he has been very accessible for every question I have had before, during and after the work was done. He has an extraordinary talent and vision of what would be appropriate for our home, including what looks great and will tolerate the particular conditions of my yard. His crew was polite, very hard working, and they completed each phase of work in the time line promised. We have received so many compliments from our neighbors about how nice the house looks now, and are so pleased with how this turned out! We will be using Scenic View to maintain our investment from now on.

Frank and his crew's work was EXCELLENT!!! I would highly recommend him. He said it would take day and a half, and it took a day and a half. He named the price, and it was the price. He left no traces of material, and my yard was cleaner when he left, then before he started. Next year I will be landscaping rest of yard and I wouldn't use anyone else. I normally do all my own work because I don't trust contractors, but Frank at Scenic View has changed my mind. If you need patio or landscaping work look here first ,you wont reget it

Our backyard was a mess until Frank gave us an idea of what he could do. They started by removing a large tree and many overgrown weeds. They even powerwashed the back vinyl fence for us before putting in the new plants and mulch. They started the job earlier than expected and worked quicker than expected. The men were very neat and concienstious. They also did our front yard a year before and we were so pleased, we used them again for the backyard. We've received many compliments on the landscaping we've had Scenic View Landscaping do. We recommend them highly.

I called several providers to get estimates for a few projects needed around our home. Frank returned my call promptly and came out the next evening to do an estimate. I had a few really messed up areas around my home, that we had been putting off . We live on a farm so it's basically devoid of any "formal" landscaping, but there was one area that was pretty torn up by a recent patio replacement project - machines drove over it, killed some of my plants, plus it was all lumpy and torn up with tire tracks, etc. I wasn't looking for anything grandiose - it would be totally out of place with it's "rustic" surroundings" but I needed the area to look somewhat normal condition, and mulch/stone added so I no longer had to mow this section. I also had another area where an old broken path of concrete was removed, and had wanted him to just reuse some patio blocks we had taken up to lay a path where the old concrete was . This area was also wrecked. Plus, I needed a bed extended from the front of the house to around the side where the ground was 2 different levels, in order to eliminate a potential drainage issue. And lastly, I needed a bed created near the back of the house so I could mow around it with a riding mower and not have to use the push mower to go in and out the little alcoves around our chimney. What impressed me the most was that Frank did not try to "sell" me anything, instead he respected my needs - even my crazy request to reuse my old patio blocks, and did exactly what I asked him to do. Of course he looked at the area and made a few suggestions - but all based on what I was trying to accomplish with nothing overblown. I was so comfortable after our meeting that I did not even follow thru with getting additional estimates. When it was time to do the work, it was totally painless! He was there at 7am, and although the day storming on and off, he and his crew worked anyway. All I know is I left my home with the place in a shambles and it looked wonderful when I came home. They came back the next day to finish up a few details, like raking and seeding around the patio block path, plus he also added some extra stone, and mulched an additional bed to match the other which was not on our original project list. Frank is puctual, professional, and an absolute pleasure to work with. We are definitely planning to have him back soon!

Frank visited for a consultation and provided an estimate on the spot. He gave great suggestions for new trees, bushes, and plants. He was extremely responsive in communication via email and phone. Awesome professionalism and customer service. Crew arrived on time and all the work was completed in 1 day. They left the job site very clean. Frank went over and above in completing the job - fastened new bolts on some other loose beams he noticed while replacing a beam at the base of our deck, and even filled in a ditch on our front lawn and seeded it without us asking him to. Follow up service was great too - the weeping cherry tree in front died after a week and Frank replaced it with a new one. He thought it was from a bad batch at the nursery since all of our other new plantings are doing well. I highly recommend Scenic View Landscaping. The new landscaping looks gorgeous. The owner of this company, Frank Vaughn, is a landscaping genius. He performed a true miracle on my property in one 10-hour day! I would be happy to send you before\after pics. The work he did was flawless.

I had three estimates done and Scenic View's estimate was right in the middle. I had just moved in to a new house with a yard that had not been tended to in years and was overrun with weeds and poison ivy. Another company almost refused to do the job because of the amount of poison ivy. The assessor was very professional. The yard was sprayed with Round-Up and a crew came to clean up the yard two weeks later. It looked amazing and the crew did a great job. They asked if they had missed anything and I said no. When my husband came home he noticed that a tree was still touching the far side of the house. I called back and the crew came out the next day at no charge. Great job.

Three men arrived early in the morning and the fellow who spoke to me clarified exactly what we wanted. They continued to work until they were finished and the results were astonishing. We are so pleased with the result that I actually asked my friend to stop over to see the transformation. She, too, was impressed. I would not hesitate to use these landscapers again!
