Went great. In addition to the work described, they also trimmed things up nicely without charging more, and didn't complain about multiple wasp stings (because apparently there was a wasp's nest in the bushes). We had the work done to protect our house, and got a much nicer looking front yard out of it as a bonus.

Full disclosure: my husband and I cannot be the easiest clients to deal with. We fret over even small decisions. That being said, Frankie deserves even more credit for being patient and responsive throughout our job. We contacted Scenic View when we first purchased our home because our real estate agent recommended that we grade the soil away from our foundation. Frank came out and provided a quote, and we put the job off as winter was approaching. We realized that we needed our patio to be replaced and so had Frank come out again this spring for another estimate. My husband and I poured over the paver choices and frequently emailed Frank with question after question concerning both jobs. He not only responded immediately via email, he would often call and make helpful, insightful suggestions. We were (finally) able to decide on all aspects of our projects, and we scheduled for mid-June. We received an email and a phone call on a Sunday evening to confirm for Monday morning (8 am); at 7:55, the truck and equipment began pulling up around our property. Within minutes of arriving, our slab patio was gone, our pear tree and vegetation were removed and the crew began leveling the patio area. Frank was on-hand to oversee the work being done for a good portion of the day. The crew worked until well after 6 pm, and were sure to meticulously clean our property and the street. The second day began with a call from Frank, asking if we'd like a tree to replace the pear tree we lost. Once again, shortly before 8 am, the crew arrived and got right down to work. They finished the patio, graded our soil and installed the landscaping features (decorative boulders, goose egg rocks, bushes and trees, and black mulch.) Here, I have to mention Frankie's attention to detail: my husband had asked about another project and we wanted a Japanese maple tree to be incorporated; Frank's determination was that the tree would look "lost" in the larger project. However, when he arrived with the trees for our initial project, he included a Japanese maple and made sure it was featured prominently in the layout. We also discovered that there was concrete that had deteriorated around our chimney base and Frank ensured that fresh cement replaced that before the soil and mulch were laid down. The crew finished and my husband and I were floored. Again, they cleaned, swept, hosed-down and leaf-blew our property and the street surrounding our house. They were meticulous in every detail. They were even kind enough to place our patio furniture and grill on our new patio for us! Their dedication to detail resulted in a job so beautiful that it changed the look of our home and has had our neighbors stopping us to compliment the work. We could not be happier and would recommend Scenic View Landscaping to anyone who needs landscaping, hardscaping or paver work done.

The work performed by Scenic View Landscaping more than exceeded my expectations. Prior to contacting Frank I had researched and read many reviews and also contacted other landscapers; however, I kept going back to the reviews on Scenic View and was very impressed with all of the positive comments that were made about Frank and his crew. I contacted Frank and he promptly showed up to speak with me and was able to design the patio that I always wanted but could not put into words. His crew showed up early on a Monday morning and by midday Friday I had my walkway and backyard patio paved and landscaped. His crew removed my existing cement patio and walkway, installed pavers and landscaped. Not only were they the hardest working group of men that I have seen, they were also professional, respectful and made sure that they cleaned everything up after they were done. Frank was amazing to work with and I will definitely be contacting him in the future for additional work that I want done. His design of my patio and landscaping was just what I wanted and I have been recommending him to everyone. This was the first time that I have had such a stress-free and positive experience with work performed at my house. A heartfelt thank you to Frank and his crew!!

Frank is awesome. He has great contact, good communication, and has worked in timely fashion. I have no complaints. He is negotiable with price. I would absolutely use him in the future.

Given the size of the job we met with around 3-4 different contractors to discuss the job and get quotes. Frank immediately stood out, not just because he clearly loves his job and has an excellent working knowledge of hardscaping and landscaping, but he also is extremely creative - helping us develop a "vision" for our outdoor space and guiding us through different design choices. Don't let his youthful exterior fool you ... This guy has an incredible work ethic, integrity and is as honest as they get. He's flexible, knowledgeable and patient. From dropping off paver samples to sending us computer images showing what things could look like, Frank went above and beyond to make sure we had all the information we needed and were comfortable with the design plan before any work was done. The day of the job, Franks team were quick, professional and extremely respectful of our space ... Cleaning up afterwards and answering all our questions around how to maintain everything once they left. I would absolutely work with Frank again and highly recommend him to anyone who is looking for a beautiful and quality outdoor area for a competitive price.

Everything was great! Frank promptly returned my call, came out and gave an estimate on the work and provided a computer generated design from a picture that he took of the area to be done. Once we agreed on the final design the work started about a week later and was done in less then a day. The crew did a great job removing and cleanup of the old landscaping. The new landscaping looks fantastic. A total transformation of the area! I would definitely use Scenic View again.

Frankie did a GREAT job. We had a plain backyard with the neighbors fence the main focal point. For a reasonable price we have a beautiful yard - trees and flowers. A great firepit we were offered at a discount because they already had some materials left. I left many details up to Frankie - like placement of the landscaping lights. PERFECT!

It went really well, they stood the whole day fixing up my yard and it looks really , really good. They removed my old bushes growing in the front and put in newer updated landscaping with beautiful stones. They took my young bloodgood maple and transplanted to the front with some more landscaping and made it a nice focal point in the front of the house.

Frank did a great job coming up with a design for our new pool. I also asked for additional landscaping in my yard, some new and some to replace existing trees and shrubs. The workers were very professional and did excellent work. Gary was onsite each day and made sure that I was satisfied every step of the way. I would highly recommend them and use them again in the future if the need arises. Their pricing beat the other 3 companies I received estimates from.

Frankie had given us the best estimate (not the cheapest, but not the highest) for a much needed and over due drainage system install. Once we sent the signed contract with deposit, he called on a Sunday to let us know he will be starting Monday morning at 7:30am. And on the next morning at 7:30am, he and his crew pulled up. He introduced me to his partner Gary who was in charge of the project. After giving Gary instructions, Frank left and the crew got to work. Since the contract itself was not as detailed as the estimate, I did have to point out an additional leader that was included in the job. Once Gary confirmed with Frank, they not only did that leader but tied in another a few feet away at no additional cost. They also relocated a 45+ year old Hydragea for me. They wrapped up about 6pm. They cleaned up well, graded soil nicely, and spread grass seed where necessary. I would not hesitate to call them for future landscaping work.

The work was done quickly and looked great. They left the yard and driveway clean. My only complaint would be that the weed paper only worked for about a week and I have beed out almost daily ever since removing things that are popping up.

Frank was great, and made a good suggestion of what we needed to fix our water build up on back yard. He was able to send his team immediately after hiring them. They came out and did an amazing job in one day.

The job went perfectly! The crew did the removal process in the middle of the week and returned that Saturday to do the planting. The guys worked non stop and were meticulous in every aspect of the project. When they were finished, there was not as much as a blade of grass out of place. After having used Scenic View for two large projects over the past 2 years, I can recommend this company without any reservation. Frank's focus on customer satisfaction is second to none. He responds to phone calls and emails within a matter of hours and he works very hard to give the customer great service for a fair price. Frank is a design expert, which was a great help to me because I did not really have a clear idea of what I wanted my gardens to look like. He provided me with several options by showing me different computer-generated possibilities. Frank's crews are well-trained to get the job done efficiently. They are so thorough in cleaning up at the conclusion of the job, which is very important to me. I could not be more pleased with the work and professionalism of Scenic View!

Frank was very prompt and responsive to my emails and phone calls in scheduling the project. After his initial estimate, the sump pump drainage situation got worse after it had been spewing water on the lawn for a couple of weeks. I contacted Frank again on a Friday and within an hour he had arranged for emergency mark downs to be completed. The water, gas, electric and cable/phone companies all showed up that same day which allowed Frank to fix the problem the following Monday. His crew was at my house early and fixed the problem. They also ripped up hauled away some shrubbery and rocks that we wanted removed from our backyard. His estimate and final price were very fair for the situation and we definitely plan to use him again for other projects. I would highly recommend him.

It went very well. Frank responded promptly to our request for a proposal, he provided that quickly along with a number of alternatives, pricing each part of the job separately. When work was scheduled he and a team of 5 arrived on time and went right to work. The team was very skilled and worked until past sunset. We had a number of opportunities to provide feedback during the work. The work was completed in a very professional manner and in a timely manner.

Frank did a great job and the pricing was great on the particular shrub we were looking for. He worked well with my neighbor and I since we had different concerns on the shrubs. He was very accommodating and focused on our satisfaction. He was great at following up on the project to make sure we knew how to take care of the shrubs and that we were happy. I had no problem scheduling with the company.

If I could sum up the services we received from Scenic Landscaping in one word it would be, " TOTALLY AMAZING ! Okay, that's two words, but there aren't enough superlatives to describe Frank and his crew. I had "interviewed" several landscapers for the job. Frank's proposal was the best as far as cost and design. What really made Frank stand out compared to the others was his professionalism and passion for his work. Frank explicitly explained in detail everything he was going to do and the services that would be provided. If I had any questions, he answered my calls promptly as well as e-mails. When Frank's foreman, Gary, and his crew arrived to begin working on my project, it was the hottest and most humid week of the summer. Despite this, they worked from 8 am to 6 pm for two days. With that, they transformed my yard from the Sanford and Son house to the absolute best looking home in the development. The transformation is unbelievable. Frank's design is beautiful, the decorative rocks and lighting add to the magnificence. My neighbors were in awe, as I am every time I look at what Scenic View has done for the aesthetics of my home. I would recommend Scenic View for any of your landscaping projects. You will get a professional, beautiful result. Working with Frank was a pleasure!

I value responsiveness and Frankie was more responsive than any vendor I have ever used. Day, night, weekday or weekend, I always received a prompt response. I had his team complete several tasks and they were able to do it all in one day. At one point it seemed as though the team had swelled to about 20 workers. It was an excellent experience and I would recommend them to anyone.

Scenic View Landscaping provided excellent service. Frank was personally involved from the start of my project. He demonstrated the ability to listen and understand the goals and objectives for my project. He presented a detailed landscape design in one week and we met to review any changes to the plan. The project was completed in a matter of days and there was a sincere effort made to ensure we were completely satisfied with the work performed. Like any project, sometimes when you see the final product, you realize there are some minor changes to be made. Frank and his team were very responsive and worked with us to achieve what we consider to be a beautiful landscape surrounding our home. I have already recommended Scenic View to several of my friends and neighbors. Great job!

Frank provides very professional service. Excellent communication. Showed up when he said he would and completed a big job in one day! My yard looks spectacular. His crew was very neat and courteous. Great work!

From the initial meeting, Frank answered all my questions and made me feel very comfortable. Seeing how the last company that had installed the drainage system that he needed to correct. Frank, once again made me feel extremely comfortable and had renewed my faith in contractors again. I decided to have Frank redo and fix the aforementioned area. NOTE: The job Frank and his highly skilled and professional team inherited to repair was a sheer butcher job!!! That job was completed by Quality 1st Basements in August 2014. Frank and TWO crews arrived at approximately 8:30 am on November 5, 2014. They went straight to work, Frank also was able to point out things to me that were incorrect, such as not using plastic end caps on the trench drain, they had used tape and the pipes failed to connect properly. Frank was on and available for advise and questions during the entire process!!! Several times the plan was revised for the better and wanted to do the job right!! I personally observed Frank say he was going to leave the other drainage system in place because it had worked. NOTE: (This system was in place prior to the other companies poor job) only to have him change his mind and told me " I want to do this the right way" he ripped everything out and redesigned the system on the fly. The pitch of the French drains are flawless!! Frank even went to utilize 3 layers of landscape plastic and 1 layer of landscape fabric not the 2 layers of plastic I was quoted at no extra cost. He once again stated " I want it done right and I want you to be happy". His crew were a pleasure and very, very professional. I will be using Frank and his awesome crew for any /all projects I have from now on!!! I cant stress enough how fantastic Scenic View Landscaping are!!! The only derogatory thing I can say is that I didn't call him first!!! THANK YOU Frank and crew!!!!!!!

Our yard has a steep slope. Gradually rain water washed off the dirt on the side of landscaping and there was a deep trench that getting wider and wider. I asked Frank for a fix. Frank was very responsive in emails. We exchanged several emails regarding the appointment for cost estimate and later for the work schedule. He always returned my emails promptly and answered all questions I had before work started. He came with his crew on the scheduled day. They filled the trench with soil, added plastic sheet and put big stones on the top along the side of the landscaping. The end result is pretty. I asked some questions regarding water falls, patio and etc. Even though these had nothing to do with the work at hand, Frank was very patient and provided expert opinion on them. He also had his crew repaired a crack in our water fall as well as fixed a leaking sprinkler tube free of charge. While they were here, we added some additional work (re-edged the landscaping in the front yard as well as replenish the red stone on the side of the yard). I will definitely reach out to them for additional work in the future.

We could not be happier with the work performed by Scenic View. Frank met with us initially to look at the job and definitely took note of what we were trying to accomplish because the second time we met, he brought a computerized version of how the landscaping would look and it was pretty spot on to what we discussed. We discussed each of the plants/shrubs and ended up changing a few. We found him to been quite knowledgeable in terms of which plants/shrubs would work in our location. We had a slight delay on our part between when we signed the contract and the work being performed because we were having the roof and gutters replaced. Frank was very understanding and responsive to my emails keeping him in the loop of when the roofing work would be completed. The wait was definitely worth it! His crew showed up early and worked very neatly until the job was completed. They were very professional and did a fantastic job. It looks great and we will definitely use Scenic View again for other landscaping jobs around our property.

Great experience! Frank was the first to respond to my inquiries and came in with the lowest estimate. My only concern was that the job would be too small, but Frank presented a few designs in fine detail. The job was scheduled and completed within a couple of weeks. The quality of work far exceeded our expectations. Gary who I gather was Franks right hand man was in charge of the job with Frank overseeing the operation. Gary knew every detail that I had discussed with Frank in the planning phase. The job itself was complete within hours by Gary and two other very hard workers. I was blown away by the professionalism, level of respect and quality of craftsmanship from inception through cleanup. The bottom line is these are good guys to deal with and will not disappoint.

It went smoothly and was done efficiently and expertly. The job took 14 hours total. 12 hours on Day 1 and 2 hours of clean up on Day 2. We couldn't have asked for better service and will definitely be booking Frankie and his company for work first thing next Spring!
