APOLLO SEPTIC

I made an appt for them to come out to my rental property as my tenants found a pile of poop above the septic system. When I,made the appt, I was assurred that they would be able to make it later in the day to check it out. At 7pm, I called them as I did not hear anything and they are a 24 hour operation and I was told that according to the schedule book, I was set for 8am the following morning. I received no phone call to let me know that or the following morning when they arrived at my property. Some hours later, I was told by my renters that the company was finished and insisted on getting my phone number which they already had when I made the appointment. My renters think that they just unclogged the tank (they were there 3 months before flushing it out) and that was it. When I called the company to find out what was found and what was done, I was given a big run around. At some point, I expressed my frustration with the communications thus far and how I didn't feel so good about this company and I might be thinking of going elsewhere, the response I got was "we are very busy, so go look for another company if that's how you feel"! Really, that's customer service?? So I hung up because I was not making any headway and it was obvious that they didn't care either. About 5 minutes and then again about 10 minutes later, I received a phone call demanding immediate payment with a credit card. I was in a class at the time but afterwards I did not feel compelled to call back that day. The following morning I received a call from Donna demanding immediate payment again but this time she said "it was the 5th phone call she gave me" (in reality it was only the 3rd!) plus she also threatened "that if she did not hear from me by the end of the day that she might have to file a complaint against me or something" Seriously?? According to the receipt I would only be charged a finance fee if I was over 30 days late. It was not even a day later. Plus, as per the receipt, I could pay by check which is what I intend to do. Nowhere on the receipt or when I made the appt, was it said that payment was expected upon services being rendered.

I think Apollo Septic provides excellent service, especially if you need a pipe cleared out. I have used their service twice and I think they are very reasonable. They came out when they said they were going to. They do not overcharge you to dig up the tank lid. They do a very good job of clean-up afterwards.
