The contractor, Paul, was courteous and responsive in staying in contact with us during the entire job. His workers were on time, worked deligently with a very good clean up procedure each day. Did lose a day of work due to weather and previous job scheduling. However, the contractor did notify and apologize by phone. Overall the experience was very good. We would definitely recommend this contractor.

We hired P. Casolaro to have a new tub and wall surrounds installed in our bathroom with a little bit of plumbing work to go along with it. They were fairly priced but the experience left much to be desired. The work was supposed to take half a day with two workers but only one worker showed up so it took literally 12 hours. My husband had to stay home from work and actually help the poor guy who was here installing the tub because this clearly wasn’t a one person job. Not only did my husband lose out on work for the day but he had to help or else the work never would have gotten done. The worker even complained that he was left alone to do the work and thanked my husband for helping him. After it was all said and done, the tub looked great but we faced some minor leaking issues from the PVC piping below which my husband was able to rectify. Also, the tub stopper did not work properly so we were not able to fill the tub with water and bathe. They came back to look at the issues and said they would return with the appropriate parts to fix it but kept making excuses and never returned messages. We eventually gave up out of frustration and purchased a drain plug to use instead. To top everything off, they accused my husband of stealing one of the worker’s screwdrivers! Overall, this was a disappointing and frustrating experience and I would not recommend anyone to use this company. It is unfortunate that this is the way they conduct business.

one of the workers was very professional and highly skilled. The second worker was not highly skilled and caused an incident which required more time on the project. The company compensated for the incident and made all of the necessary repairs. They arrived on time but underestimated the time to complete project. However project of insulation and flooring was completed to my satisfaction.

They are probably great for rough carpentry and general repairs but I would not use them again for finish and detail work. Just to be on the safe side, ask for a copy of his insurance and contractors license first before you do anything. It's difficult to get that information after the fact. In other words, he refused to provide the info when I requested it, and watch out for last minute added charges. His men were very polite and professional. They tried to make things right when they ran into issues with the project, but ultimately I was left dissatisfied with the end result. Boards were not installed offset and this caused visable gridline seams. One area, in particular, has a noticeable sag where they attempted to glue the boards to the ceiling in lieu of screw fastening it. They installed crown molding but instead of 45-degree cuts at joints, they butted together 90-degree cuts with gaps. The job is done, it just wasn't done in accordance with industry standards.

They were very busy but fit us into the schedule. They arrived when they said they would.
