Showed up on time for every appointment and the work crews were knowledgeable, polite and always worked clean. Very easy to work with and have referred this company to my sister for her upcoming project.

It went very well. The workers were always on time and cleaned up everyday before going home. The job was completed during the expected time frame and within the proposed budget. It was a very good experience.

National Home Improvements did a spectacular job on our house. We started off with the windows, then they did the roofing and the siding. At this time they also remodeled the kitchen, which we couldn't be happier about. Everything finished on time. They did a great cleanup. We had one of the ugliest houses on the block, now we have the nicest. I would definitely recommend National Home Improvements and wanted to share our experience with other members.

They were phenomenal. I give them the highest grades. National Home Improvements did a great job on our entire house. They completed all the above jobs and my family couldn't be happier. They were on time, cleaned up, and were right on budget, which was important to us. I highly recommend them to others.

The outcome of our project has made us so happy that I had to tell other members how happy we are. They started on time and other than some weather hiccups, finished on time. The whole process was very smooth. They started with the windows, then did they did the roofing, and then they did the finishing touches of the siding. The came in right on budget and there were no surprises and the workers cleaned up everything. The final project was well worth the five years that my wife and I waited. A Big, Big Thank You to them. My wife and I wanted to share our experience because we would highly recommend National Home Improvements.

I met with the National Home Improvements salesmen at the job site. I provided a detailed outline of the scope of the project. I informed the salesman on the first day we met that I had already determined a specific Manufacturer's product that I wanted to use along with the type, color and quality. He suggested another product, I told him that i was not interested in the other product and I wanted to use the product I liked. Over the next three weeks the Salesman worked on checking availability of the product along with various other aspects of the project. During this time I asked at least three times for the salesman to provide the proposal in writing. Each time I asked I was told I would have it soon. When I finally did received the contract I was shocked to see in the first paragraph of the contract the following "We will install New 100% Virgin Vinyl as proposed below using either .46 or .42 thickness as shown below." There is no mention of the manufacturers product that would be used in the contract. No mention of the color. No mention of the reveal. No mention of the style, etc. etc. What I could not believe was that the Salesman actually put a price for the siding at the bottom of the page. My question was; how could he possibly give me a price on the project without telling the consumer what product the consumer will be getting for his money?? The salesman called me a few days later and asked if I had had a opportunity to review the contract. I told him I had and then informed him that I would not be doing business with his Company. He asked why. I informed him that I was not satisfied with the terms and conditions of the contract specifically the fact that the most important component of the job "the siding " was not defined in the contract. Furthermore I was disappointed that after telling the salesman on at least three or four occasions what I wanted he completely ignored what I was saying. I told him that I would find someone else to do the job and ended the call. A few days later I received a call from the owner of National Home Improvements. He asked why I did not go with his company. I told him that although his Salesman was friendly, polite and courteous throughout our discussions he clearly was not listening to the customer. The Owner suggested that I meet with him and that he would see to it that my needs were met. I thanked him for the offer but declined to meet with him. I have since hired another contractor (whom I will write about after he completes the job) for the project and look forward to doing business with him.

Obtained quotes from various contractors. Decided on National as they returned calls promptly. Arrived on schedule and completed work on time ( was delayed by weather slightly) Job is neat and looks great.Cleaned up after they were done.

This was 2 months ago. They were very professional. I did not see any problems with how the process was conducted. I thought the price was high for what I wanted to be done as the area was not that big. I did not see any arrogance or a know it all nature. I did not think the price was justifiable for replacing the front section of a gutter. I did not think it was well estimated.

National Home Improvements did our siding, roofing, windows and trim work. Our house looks like a new house! The work and craftsmanship that National did was spectacular!!!!!! We interviewed a lot of companies and glad we chose national. They were on time and worked proficiently . We had a lot of work to do make our house look new. I can't believe its my house. My husband is very picky and for him to be satisfied says a lot about national. The best part of the job was the trim work....it added such a nice finishing touch and made all the roofing windows and siding stand out. Before the job started our house looked like it was falling apart. I don't know how they did it but I'm glad they did. I would DEFINITELY RECOMMEND NATIONAL HOME IMPROVEMENTS. Now we are letting them start our kitchen after the kids go back to school. I just had to share my experience because I'm so happy!!! THANKS NATIONAL HOME IMPROVEMENTS.

I met with national and will say they were great. Come out discussed in detail what the job should entail and the whole process. Unfortunately I could not move forward with them. But wold definitely recommend them.

First, we actually found them in an ad in the newspaper. They were offering discounted remodeling, if you allowed the remodeling to be videotaped for instructional use. We had figured all the remodeling would cost, ballpark of $45k, and they're ballpark quote with the discount was $18-25k, depending on the materials we chose. That would be a HUGE savings. The initial sales guy came in, took a look at the area made some notes and explained the process to us and the filming deal. We were still interested, so he said he'd send over his colleague who would do more formal measurements and talk to us more about the technical aspects. The 2nd guy took all the measurements and got back to us with the possible layouts for the space. He said we needed to go pick out fixtures, tile, etc and send him the brands and style/model #s. After they had all that information, they could give us a final quote and draw up a contract. Both gentlemen were courteous, punctual, and very responsive to our questions. Our only issue is that my wife and I didn't have much direction on what we wanted to do with the space exactly and everything we saw in stores just wasn't what we were wanting/liking or didn't go with something else we thought we liked. When we asked for places to go and check out products, they kept referring us to the local "nice" Home Depot. They said they were easy to work with. They also gave us a name for 1 tile shop. And they also kept pushing a Jacuzzi tub (which we knew we didn't want). My wife and I couldn't decide on anything and we didn't like what we were seeing in those stores, so the engagement with the provider faded away with no firm quote, no contract and no work being done.

After reviewing other Angie's List members' reviews, I contacted National Home Improvements to provide a quote on a complete new roofing system for my sun room. They have rave reviews and I was ecstatic to see what they would come up with. Ralph, the owner, contacted me personally to ask me for a brief description of the job. I told Ralph that my sun room had been leaking for a while, but has become progressively worse since Hurricane Sandy. Ralph came by the following afternoon and inspected the roof and provided me a quote during the same visit. Ralph explained to me in detail what the work would consist of, when they could start, and when they would finish. I was amazed at Ralph's professionalism and his dedication to customer service and hired him on the spot. Moreover, Ralph beat every other competitor price (who were also Angie's List rated contractors) that I've been quoted thus far. I'm looking forward to Ralph completing the job and I will be posting before and after pictures for all other Angie's List members to see for themselves the quality of their work when all's said and done.

They were very responsible, puntual and honest. I had a few problems in my bathroom and gave me a few options how the problem could be fix at a very reasonable price.

National Home Improvement came to our house and from the begining we felt confortable with them. They did our roofing siding and windows, Excellent work the owner of company would call and stop by to see the progress of the job. They did a wonderful job, excellent clean up, I was very impressed by the great customer service. They made sure to include me in the entire process making sure everything was done to my liking. I am very particular about how I want things done, and they were very accomidating to my preference. They were quick and out of all they offered the best price!

I honestly loved the work National Home Improvement did for me. They were a pleasure to work with very professional and very courteous even when I had a thousand questions. Ralph the owner answered all my questions and always made me feel comfortable. I am a single woman and my dealings in the past with other contractors always left me feeling like I was taken advantage of. But not with with National, not only did they show up when they said they would but they always cleaned up after themselves. I expected there to be a mess after such work especially since in the past other contractors left unnecessary garbage. Which they promised would be taken care of but never happened! I was left with that burden, a headache. Another thing I noticed was their detail to small things like my flowers. I expected some trampling and trash in my garden but they did an excellent job with that as well. They worked quickly and always kept me informed of any changes. What I really loved was that even with the slight modifications and some difficulties they stayed on budget and finished on time. It was really a blessing especially since I needed my windows done for the upcoming season. The siding is great and the roof no longer has any spots after a rainy day. Now every time I come home I am delighted at my house. I love my beautiful house. I would recommend National Home Improvement to family and friends without hesitation.

I called National Home Improvements back, for window and siding, of which they responded immediately. After they did my roof. I was not sure about siding and new windows, until I met these very trustworthy people who went out of there way to save me money and sit with me and discuss my needs. how long was I planning on staying in the house, different qualities as well as different prices. National was on time right from the start. They were reliable and the work they did was just amazing.Our house and bathroom came out so beautiful,sometimes I don't believe its my house. The money we spent was so worth it. I would highly recommend them!!!!

The siding and caulking were fabulous, they were very professional in their performance through working. They were very experienced and diligent, they were very reliable, they were very well versed, they knew what they were doing and did quality work. They were very fast on the gutters but not professional in the sense of the attitude towards the work and towards me, the client. They didn't notify me before they were coming. The sub out their gutter work. So I would not recommend them for that particular service.

I just want to say how glad I am for choosing National Home Improvement.In the passed I've hired contractors and it was a disaster. I was scared to call contractors because of what they've put me through in the passed. After working with National and their staff I now have a contractor that I can trust. Thanks for my beautiful kitchen,siding,windows,and roof.

NATIONAL WAS GREAT.....MY HOUSE LOOKS LIKE THE BEST ONE ON OUR BLOCK!!!! MY HOUSE REALLY NEEDED THE WORK (SIDING,ROOFING,WINDOWS) AND NOW ITS LOOKS AWESOME!!!! THE TRIM WORK WAS THE FINISHING TOUCH. IT REALLY SHOWED DETAIL. I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM!!!!!!!

As stated, we were so estatic when National finished ahead of schedule, that we decided to replace the gutters and two exterior doors that Ralph suggested would improve the look greatly - he was right! They were on budget and ahead of time.... what could be better. When the owner, Ralph, came to inspect, we talked about other opportunites for improvement, came to a fair price, and we're happy to say he was right again - not only with the ideas, but with a GREAT end result - we couldn't be happier. We would highly recommend National (and have) to our friends and neighbors.

They were very pleasant polite, efficient, super clean, super-fast. And they came back and knocked on my door to see if I have any further issues. The follow up was incredible.

Right from the start we were happy with national. They were not the cheapest , but I believe in paying for quality. They were trustworthy and reliable which gave us peace of mind. Right from the beginning both the materials and workers were right where they needed to be. We really appreciated that they minimized the disruption and mess (which we were worried about), even when we needed a discusion to clarify some detail, Ralph handled it professionally and to our satisfaction.
