Mark of Excellence installed BathWrap shower in my house which replaced 50 years old shower. Sales representative Nick answered all my questions, explained what will be done and worked with me to create contract acceptable for me and MoE. Maria from the office called me to schedule a work and checked several times that everything is on schedule. Exactly as scheduled two installers worked two days to remove the old shower, clean everything, and install a new one. Installers are knowledgeable, have good work and communication skills. It was a pleasure to watch them working. They listen to my comments and tried to do details as I asked. Finished work looks great. I definitely will call MoE again.

terrible. botched the floors, heaters don't work, terrible grout job and damaged vanity cabinets during installation. No one shows up to make repair and now the owner will not call back or respond to emails. Will be suing because I've lost a lot of $$$ here and have to hire someone to make repairs.

I've noticed from all the other reviews left on various sites talk about how she's a compulsive liar and says they did what was in the video. First of all they took out the old insulation and told me that they don't put new insulation in that if I wanted it and didn't call the company I could go buy it at Home Depot and they would put it in as a favor to me as long as I didn't call the company.? I did have to go and purchase the insulation. The salesman Mike told me they were going to replace 4 feet of tile I will have the bathroom torn down to prove that they remove two rows of tile is all they took out less than a foot. He told me if there is water damage under the tub and put a new piece of plywood they did not do that and there was water damage they were going to use the old insulation the wet insulation in the wall unless I went out and bought some new insulation. Also in the video it showed how they spray with this anti-bacterial mole foam they did not do that. They did not use the proper sheetrock that is supposed to be used for bathrooms. I would have never known if my neighbor didn't mention it to me when he saw them putting in the sheetrock. Those are the major complaints I would be more than glad to have it ripped out to prove what a liar she is. My wife is ?highly allergic to mold and this is the reason I went with the company because of the mold resistant formula they told me they were going to treat the walls with which they never did. Also as far as the financing the finance company sent us a credit card which we were never told by the company that this was going to happen. The credit card had the money that was owed on the credit card and a charge of 29% on the balance of 6000 ?that was owed and we Finance ?at 0% interest $6,000. When when I called the company and spoke to the senior sales rep at Jay he told me that this is a problem the company has and that the salesman should have told us about this credit card that would be coming they also charged the $29 activation fee. That salesman Jay left the company. The salesman Mike that I had talked to told me he was going to look into these problems and get back to me he did not the owner left a voicemail saying that everything was completed correctly, she knows it was not. Yes I was upset with her on the phone because she kept denying everything I tried to say and wouldn't even let me get a word in and she did hang up on me. I have reached out to some of the other clients if they have done work for Laughs horrible reviews and ask them to join in on the class action lawsuit which they all have agreed to do I have hired a lawyer. It's ironic how there are so many dissatisfied client and so many poor reviews and this lady continues to lie to all of us. My complaint is not with the bathroom looks like when it was done it's what's behind the liner that wasn't done. They told me was going to take 2 days to install because they skipped a lot of these steps they had it done by 5 o'clock that afternoon. I am angry at myself for not checking all the poor reviews that they have received had I seen that I would have never hired them. This company needs to be held reliable for the poor insulation and not completing what was told to the customer. They should not be allowed to operate and continuously ripped off so many people. Thank you for your time let me know what the next step is. And as you can see from the form my wife did not sign the Top Line because she knew there were some things they didn't do. As you can see from the pictures they didn't have any insulation on the truck nor do they have any anti bacteria mold resistant formula to spray and told me they didn't even know what I was talking about when I told that to them. i will have to send the photos another way because they are to big to get from my phone. ?

The customer signed the contract which states what his bath renovation would consist of and proceeded to request financing instead of a cash payment schedule. The finance option chosen was 0% for 25 months which is clearly written on the bank form, initialed and signed by the customer at the time of sale. The bank also sends an optional credit card much like many card companies send pre- approved cards. The card has a standard 29% interest which we recommend customer's do not use. This was explained to the customer to which he said he understood and was told to call if he had any further questions. The customer has the bank contact info to which he can call & the bank can explain the same. The install is being done to manufacturer's specifications and all the design staff and installation crews are trained at the manufacturers' facilities. All the video, samples and documentation is approved by and exclusive to the manufacturer and their approved network of partners nationwide. We offered to call the manufacturer and conference the customer with them to verify everything is being done as they specified in all the training and video materials and he refused. He has seen the only videos that we or the manufacturer supplies regarding the install which we have followed. Our company is committed to the customers' satisfaction and upon completion the work is covered by a comprehensive guarantee for both the manufacturer and our company. We are fortunate to offer a product that we have very little experience of the need for service; which performs extremely well over time. We work on hundreds of similar projects annually and it is important that we partner with the right manufacturer and installation methodology. We appreciate the customers' order and this project has been completed to manufacturer specifications and the customer signed a Quality Audit stating we were professional & courteous.

What a terrible experience. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Over one year of working with this company, and they still didn't finish the basement. (june2015--July2016) They didn't get started when they said they would. They couldn't manage their staff, we had at least three or four different people "manage" this project over the time they took to not finish it. They failed inspections. Repeatedly. I'm not even in the trade, and I could see that there were basic things wrong, but Mark Of Excellence wouldn't listen until the inspection failed. Plumbing failed THREE TIMES, enough so for the inspector to get annoyed and insist that they attend the next one. Ridiculous. Quality of craftmanship is low. There were some studs that weren't truly vertical. The base of the pillar isn't square with the ceiling, giving a twist to the wall. The ceiling wasn't flat until I pushed them to correct it. I had to buy a endoscope camera and a laser thermometer to prove to them that the heating ducts weren't aligned and were leaking hot air to the floor above. Quality of communication. What a joke. _Really_ hard to get hold of them, some of their staff can be testy. (The most recent person to join (and indeed, the guy who got this close to the line), however, seemed somewhat reasonable, however) Quality of coordination and project planning. Awful, just awful. I mean, more awful than a awful thing from planet awful. You get a company like this to do all the coordination with subcontractors, etc, but I ended up having to do an awful lot of this myself. I ended up having to write long emails with sometimes 11 or 12 separate points that needed responding. Quality of finishing. Well, they didn't finish. They basically said "you don't need to pay your last installments, go get the carpet yourself". So, rather than trying to salvage some customer relations or good feeling, they basically gave up, over making one phone call. They didn't come back to clean up, I had to do it myself. Just LUDICROUS. They'll give you a lot of confidence when they come for the sell, don't get suckered by this company. Several of their employees and subcontractors each separately told of how badly managed this company is, how messed up the flow of money is, and how they end up going from sub contractor to sub contractor, trying to find people who will do the job. AVOID this company.

We agree that the process took much longer than the customer should expect; partly due to the original Project Manager planning. Ultimately the project was managed to a conclusion by another Manager and the completed work under his supervision seemed to conclude amicably. I apologize on behalf of my company and can assert that in a circumstance when things do not go as anticipated we constantly review and adjust to improve . As owner of my company it is my goal to have the customer have a great experience and completed project .

We were out of pocket in the end and they never completed the job. They are not trustworthy and it took us almost 11 months to complete just 1 sunroom. We then had to bring in another contractor.
Description of Work: We went with the contractor Total Remodeling. That went bankrupt and then Mark Of Excellence was the new company under the same owner, but was not on the contract with us. When we would get emails, it would be from employees staying they were from Total Remodeling and from Mark Of Excellence. We wanted them to build us a new sunroom.

Three weeks after time in contract for a renovation, they arrived with wrong materials and argued about the job. I cancelled the job so they did NOT complete renovation.They promised some refund of my deposit of $2650 but I never got the refund.
Description of Work: Fixed a leaking seal on shower drain for $952. ($500 for service, $202 for 'site survey' and $250 for administration fee.)

This project agreement was made on 03/03/2015. The customer had an urgent service need for a plumbing issue that our company organized as part of the work scope. Part of the charge was for that plumbing fix. When the custom ordered materials were at the home. The customer asserted that they were the not the color she anticipated. Our production department agreed to special order replacement for those items to ensure satisfaction. The customer declined that and wanted to cancel the project. The amount remitted was in lieu of settlement of the customers decision to do so including the plumbing fix fee. A mistake may have been made and we were ready to offer prompt satisfaction to the customer We appreciate the opportunity to work with all New Jersey residents and continue to hone or process to avoid a re-occurrence of a situation such as this .
