We couldn’t be happier with the service we received. Chris and Gus were Responsive, gave a a fair estimate, and started the project a few days later. They did an excellent job on our shower and look forward to hiring them again on our next project.

Gus installed the backsplash to my kitchen and it looks great! He was very responsible, prompt and performed the work with care and professionalism. Would definitely hire him again. 👍

OK, so I don’t usually give top marks, I’ll start off by saying that. A lot of the time I take reviews seriously because I think they matter and I use them for most everything that I’m going to spend money on. I live in Bergen County New Jersey. I hired Infinity to do my family room floor (tile & moulding), and half bath in my basement (tiled bathroom also, replaced toilet and vanity, moulding and paint. First off what’s important to me is the feeling I get when meeting the contractor. Christian comes off friendly and honest. You get a feeling of being fair and straight to the point with regard to scope of work and price. It was a great start. So much so that as he was leaving, I stopped him immediately to ask him to get started (I didn’t need to think about it further). After hiring for the job my next thing of importance is trust. I very much trusted that the job would get done and certainly came to trust infinity with my family. They are a family business and it shows. Christian and his sons are personable, friendly, most of all professional. Eager to please, to get the job done and done right. Very comfortable and job was done so well, I hired him to do my Master bathroom immediately. All work was done and done well. Issues were a breeze to bring up and we’re taken care of instantly. Even minor details that were missed after weeks. Infinity said “No Problem” and happily addressed them. I swear that’s something I love to hear when you might feel your nit picking about things. “No problem”! This company I would recommend a thousand times over. Place looks great, thanks guys!

I am glad I hired this company. I had a simple idea to do some work in my kitchen. Chris came with his professional ideas he changed my kitchen into a glamorous kitchen, remodeled the kitchen completely. Now we have a new project to enclose my deck. I am very thrilled of his work. You need to see for your self if you ever thinking of doing some work in your home I truly recommend this company . Most importantly very respectful of customers’ decisions and prizes reasonable.

Father and son did an outstanding job - six hour job- clean and professional Would hire them again

Gus was phenomenal to work with - great communication throughout and prompt work. He and Christian properly installed and rescued kitchen cabinets that another contractor damaged. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Infinity to anyone in need of any service they offer. I’m looking forward to working with them again.

They did a good job. It took abut two or three days and they cleaned up after they were done. I would definitely use them again.

Chris and Gus got the kitchen done in a day and a half. I couldn’t be happier with the result. The new tiles look great and are well installed. While they were doing the kitchen job, I showed them my marble tiled bathroom cabin to see if they could do something to fix/clean the mold that seemed to be under the grout and silicone and therefore impossible to clean. They offered a few suggestions before we decided on how to approach and I am very happy with how white my bathroom floor and walls look. I clean on a weekly basis so I’m hoping it never happens again. Would recommend and hire them again for other jobs.

Christian and his son Gus came to redo our shower. They had to remove the shower door to take out the floor tiles and some wall tiles. They had to replace the marble shower ledge and seat and the grout. The grout they used was very dark when in fact, it should blend in with the tiles. It looks like an amateur did the work. He ruined the stainless steel on the shower system. The shower doors were taken out and put back unevenly. Now when you take a shower, the water runs out onto the floor. The only thing that was done right was the shower floor and the bottom tiles. Lastly, initially Christian told us that the garbage collectors would not haul away the trash and led us to believe that he was hauling it away. Then, on the last day, he told us that he was not hauling it away. We had talked to him about another bathroom that we were looking to remodel, so he ASSUMED we would have him do it very soon, and we would have had to rent a bin to have the garbage hauled away. Needless to say, we were left with approximately 10 large, heavy bags full of garbage. My husband, who has physical restrictions, had to transfer all of the garbage into regular trash bags with my daughter's help and pay the garbage collector for them to haul away. We reached to him to let him know what needed to be fixed. He said he would come and never showed. When he makes an appointment, he no shows or shows up late and never calls in advance to inform you of a schedule change. When my husband called Christian to bring this matter to his attention, he got upset and never called back nor followed through on what needed to be fixed. Finally, he only accepts cash or check and does not provide a contract or professional invoice. If you want a so-called contractor who talks a good game, unreliable, unprofessional, and ignores details, Infinity Home Improvements is the company for you. Please learn from our mistakes. Do your homework! The contractor must show their license, liability insurance, provide an invoice, accept all payment forms, provide a contract, references, and proof of their work.

My family and I had an absolute nightmare working with Chris as he is a liar and a mediocre contractor. I would beware of hiring him as Chris screwed my family over on our house project. In early April, Chris contacted me saying he saw my ad on Angie’s list for bathroom remodeling. When he came to the house he said he was able to take more projects - stain floors, paint walls, remodel our 3-4 bathrooms, replace our front door, tile our first floor, and install lighting. We were ecstatic as he seemed to have experience and promised that he could finish our desired work by mid to late June or early July by the latest. Chris emphasized in our initial appointments that: 1. he would ONLY be working on our house and would not take any more jobs, 2. he would be working every day, full time on our house as he does not take weekends off/he loves working, 3. he agreed to work for the first week without a deposit, and 4. he had a big enough crew to work on our home improvement jobs. HE DID NOT DELIVER ON A SINGLE THING HE PROMISED. He did not need to promise the first three things, but he continued to repeat these promises to us. We did ask him about the fourth promise, because this was a huge undertaking and we needed to know that he had a big enough crew to take care of this job quickly. Chris had no reviews online at this point, but he suggested to give me phone numbers of past customers. However, when I asked for these numbers, he gave me a big speech about trust, his experience, and reiterated that he was willing to not get paid until we saw full jobs. We had agreed on prices solely on labor without the cost of materials – we would be paying all of the material costs minus any tools. After the first 3 days on the job, Chris asked for money for the materials he had spent and for the work of demoing three bathrooms. We gave Chris a full $6000 deposit and a credit card for any material costs. THIS WAS A HUGE MISTAKE - he used our card to buy materials for other jobs. He contacted us after we posted this review to take down this fact (which I can prove with receipts), however we decided against it because he really did steal our materials for other tile jobs. HE IS A THIEF. We confronted him about using our card for personal and tool charges, but he continued. Also we have caught him taking our materials to other jobs. The first couple of weeks, he worked on lighting for us as we had not gotten any of the tiles for the bathrooms. It took us about a month for us to get the tile for the bathrooms as the pandemic made things rather difficult, however there were plenty of things to be done in the house. We had asked for an extensive cove lighting job and designs in the formal areas of the home. We had also requested that he work on making an opening for additional windows in the home and creat an additional sink. CHRIS KEPT MAKING EXCUSES for why he couldn’t work on the house and blamed it on us not getting the tile or things in the house. There were many days he would not come to the house or he would only come with one other person or just himself. HE LIED AND DID NOT HAVE A BIG CREW LIKE HE PROMISED. He kept promising us that he wasn’t working in other jobs but he would disappear for days at a time and would not work weekends like he initially kept promising. He kept lying to us that he wasn’t taking other jobs. He once disappeared for 10 days and kept sending us excuses about how he was sick and couldn’t work. I noticed on his page that someone left a review for a job that he had done during that time, so HE LIED. CHRIS IS A LOUSY, UNFOCUSED CONTRACTOR. He kept telling our family that he was experienced in everything that he was doing. Chris offered and agreed to install heated flooring for our first floor and all of the bathrooms and told us to buy all of the materials for the heat. We SPENT OVER $5000 on floor heating and he missed putting the sensors from the thermostat underneath the tiles. He also mixed heating mat voltages requiring us to spend more money on an electrician to fix the problem. Due to these grave mistakes, our heating mats will not be working. Chris admitted that the heating was his fault and that he would fix this issue, but he left without fixing this issue at all. Chris also spent hours working on a chandelier design that was a complete failure as it weighs over 100 lbs. In addition, he was supposed create dropped ceiling lighting that will take hours of work to repair. He has left our house UNFINISHED, INSANELY DIRTY, AND WITH IRREPARABLE DAMAGE. For instance, he left over insulation on our brand new wrought iron doors that will also need to be delicately scraped off to avoid damage on the door. He left a whole bunch of tile mortar on our hard wood floors that has completely hardened. On the master bathroom, he put such a thick layer of tile mortar that there is a 3 inch gap between the tiles and the window frame molding. We would have to replace over 150+ sq of tiles to fix this mistake. He has completely screwed us. (Attaching photos). CHRIS IS A LIAR. He told us that the prices that he gave us for the bathroom were FIXED and inclusive of any issue that popped up in the bathroom. He said he would not be like the type of contractor that asks for extra money later. However, he kept telling us that he would charge us more whenever we asked him about things that we had agreed upon in the bathroom that he forgot to include like a shower seat and a built-in ledge. He charged us more money for one bathroom because he said that the design was complicated but it was the simplest design in all of the bathrooms. He strong armed us because he knew we could not get other contractors at that point. CHRIS DOES NOT HAVE A CONSCIOUS AND BROUGHT PEOPLE HE DID NOT EVEN KNOW FROM HOME DEPOT TO WORK AT OUR HOUSE. Chris had initially said that he would bring an experienced team with him but he was a LIAR. Chris brought people from home depot. Chris himself confirmed this one time when we were speaking to him casually. On the last day he was at our house he left two people he picked up from home depot UNATTENDED and with no instructions on the bathroom grout job that they were doing. They not only did a TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE job (they caused damage to our tiles – pictures will be attached), but they also made a massive mistake and applied the wrong color grout in one of the bathrooms and spent 2 – 3 hours trying to scrape it out, causing massive damage to my tiles. Chris was nowhere to be seen when this happened. We have spent 30+ hours trying to delicately scrape off the grout and the damage he caused to our tiles that we have spent over $9000 on (Attaching photos). If you do not properly clean off the tile after applying the grout, the grout can permanently stick to the tile. In addition to our $9000+ tiles with gold leaf finish literally having dried grout all over them, the grout was not properly mixed as Chris did not leave the mixer with these workers. You can notice from the photos the grout is rough, crumbling and sandy as it was not mixed properly. I know that this is the case because we bought the exact same brand of grout for all the other bathrooms and the grout was very smooth. We have hired workers to clean off these tiles and even have started to clean each tile delicately ourselves due to this massive damage. My mother and I spent 4-5 hours yesterday alone cleaning only 9 12x24 tiles that will probably have to be cleaned again because there is still some grout on the tiles. The bathroom is tiled from floor to ceiling with over 250+ square footage of tile. Meaning that the 9 tiles we did yesterday are a small portion of the remaining tiles that need to be cleaned carefully. All Chris was worried about on the last day that we kicked him out was collecting his tools and our materials, he didn’t check on the workers he brought that day and didn’t check on their work to see their MASSIVE MISTAKES. He never contacted us after he left and only thought to contact us after he saw this review. CHRIS UNDERMINED OUR HOME IMPROVEMENT PROJECT EVERY STEP OF THE WAY WHEN WE DECIDED TO BRING IN PEOPLE TO FINISH PROJECTS THAT HE COULDN’T. Chris worked on our house maybe 4 days a week and barely 5 hours each day just on his own or with 1-2 other people usually. For a 3500 sq house, that is not going to cut it. So we decided to get quotes on additional projects in the home. Chris tried with all his might to prevent people from taking projects and then attempted to find out as much information so that he could prevent them from coming into our home. CHRIS WAS EXTREMELY RUDE AND HARD TO DEAL WITH. Part of the reason why a lot of things went wrong in this project is Chris is extremely rude, haughty and patronizing. When he was wrong about something, he would blame someone or something else. As long as it wasn’t him. A person is supposed to trust their contractor and the contractor is supposed to be very honest, but Chris had the opposite effect on us. When I would ask him what he would be doing in our house for the day or the week, he would refuse to answer and respond very rudely asking why I was even asking that question. I think it’s fair to ask questions like this given that it is my house and that we are clients that have paid him over $20,000 solely for his labor. He initially told us to come every day to check on his work, but when I would come he would tell me that he didn’t like me coming because I always “changed” things. He didn’t want us to come. Sometimes when I would come, he would make excuses asking me to buy unnecessary things so I wouldn’t be checking on what he was doing. He was always very extremely hard to deal with and constantly reminded me that he “lost a lot of time and money” on our projects when in actuality my family conservatively lost $14,000+ (which is just counting the heat and bathroom tile damage which are the minimum losses) and about 2 months from his incompetence and lies.

Job well done! My husband & I are satisfied with Christian’s work, we had porcelain tile installation, he’s thorough, explains what the job consists of and the cost was very reasonable, I would recommend him for any jobs related to flooring, thank you Christian!

The job went very well, Chris and his crew showed up on time, performed the job immediately and cleaned up afterwards. Chris is very knowledgeable and confident on the work that needs to be done.
