RNL Painting did an exceptional job painting our home. Robert, the owner, was on site during the entire project. In addition to his painting expertise, he offered suggestions on color/design that we are really glad we incorporated. It's like having an interior designer and painter in one. Further, he was incredibly punctual, responsive (sending me pictures and updates throughout the project), and thorough in planning out the project. He was also willing to take on a stenciling project in a special room in our home and ensured it turned out as envisioned. Cleanup was impeccable and he was very careful to keep our brand new wood floors protected. For the quality & professionalism we received, his pricing was extremely fair relative to other quotes we received. We would definitely hire RNL painting again.

Robert was incredibly helpful and my new home looks much more inviting. I was new to this process and he was quite patient and helpful. He painted the ceilings, colored bedroom and an accent wall, and put a new coat over the off-white walls, and probably saved me a lot of future cleaning anguish by putting an eggshell finish in the kitchen. He met him the day I closed (a Friday), I picked out colors over the weekend, and he got in and finished the job on Tuesday, well before my move-in. Highly recommended!

Robert responded quickly to my email. He was prompt and responsive with my quote. He showed up when he said he would. He even came back 2 more times to measure an additional room and to pick up a paint swatch. What I also like is that Robert showed up to do the work. Not just the owner but the workforce as well. After meeting personally with about 5 different painters in the local area, Robert was the perfect combination of pricing and also flexibility of schedule. Once the job started, Robert was incredibly punctual, professional and courteous while in our home. The job took a little bit longer than expected (just short of three 8-4 days), however the quality and attention to detail were outstanding. Trim work was done meticulously, ceilings were done without mess, and he even redid a wall that he personally wasn't pleased with after drying.

Came on time and did what we had discussed. Nice job. Neat.

Robert came in to take a look at the damage from a leak. He had to do the repair over a period of a few days. He worked with our tenant on scheduling. He showed up when he said he would. He took pictures of the repairs and the finished product to send to us. We never had to worry--and that is a huge relief since we don't live nearby. This is the first time we've used Robert and it won't be the last. He is phenomenal, professional, communicates and I would highly recommend him.

Excellent. Rob was professional, on time, and worked quickly and neatly. When I was unhappy with a part of the job, he immediately returned and fixed the problem. And he and his team cleaned up better than most contractors we have hired. Excellent work and value.

The owner was very responsive and was the only one to respond to my inquiries using the Angies List system. He was away on vacation but sent his cousin to come right over to give me an estimate and they did the job a week or two later. I was under a time crunch as we were putting the house up for sale so I appreciated their quick response. The work was clean and they even helped hang up the art work again.

It started out great. He responded quickly to email, he arrived on time, he handled unexpected problems, the first coat was wonderful. Then he got sick, and the quality nose-dived. I would have preferred he stay home and come back, but he said he was behind and had to finish. He started making small mistakes he was extremely reluctant to fix, and I hated to press (other than insisting he redo a ripped border), given that he was coughing up a storm. I am now paying someone else to fix those mistakes. So I would suggest hiring him, yes, but only when he's healthy.

Rob was exceptional. Did the work as agreed for a fair price, timely and cleanly. I've used him twice and will use him again.

all work done neatly, on time. Courteous, helpful, prompt, and very professional. Gave special attention to making everything the way I wanted the work done. When i had a light installed and cause a fracture to the paint, Rob came back and fixed the problem i caused. I was extremely satisfied and would recommend his work to anyone who wants quality work.

We had a week to move in and decided to get our old house painted. We closed on a Friday and by Sunday RNL was painting. We called Robert and he quickly came by since I told him that we had a week before we moved. On his visit, he walked through every room, took notes and made recommendations since this was an old house with plastered walls. He was honest and set expectations appropriately. He worked with us on paint color selection and what to fix. Work started that week and finished on time as he stated in the quote. They were professional and easy to work with. We will definitely use them again for our painting needs.

Rob came out with very short notice as I don't live nearby and my schedule was limited. He was super accommodating and friendly. He gave me an estimate that evening and was able to perform the work in a timely manner. Our tenant is thrilled with the job. Rob showed up exactly on time. And he gets back to you nearly immediately. I would highly recommend him.

Pros: Rob was professional in all of his communications, was easy to reach, and he arrived on time for both the estimate and the work day. He did a fantastic job repairing and painting the ceilings, taking the time to replaster and not just hide the cracks. At the end of the day, the ceilings were as flat and smooth as new! Rob also cleaned up after himself, leaving no trace behind. Cons: For the price, I expected that Rob would have touched up any defects in the walls before painting them. Unfortunately, there were areas where previous nicks in the walls were evident, even more so after painting than before. Also, during the estimate, I asked Rob to use no-VOC paint because my infant daughter would be with me to stage the apartment for sale after it was painting. It was clear that he didn't do so, because I was unable to get the smell out of the apartment for over a week.
