I am very meticulous so the cleaning could have been better.

Kim's does a great job. professional, quick, reliable, good communications. The only thing that went wrong is that this deal is for first time users and we were not first time users, so we just paid them directly. We just found out today that Kim's is not holding a credit for us like we thought, so we would like to get a refund from you instead. Thanks!

The service went fine. They did exactly what the deal stated. I was satisfied with the work they did. They showed up to the appointment on time. There was full crew who came to do the service. Scheduling the appointment was very easy and they were responsive to my emails.

I was not going to be around that Saturday. So we agreed on how she will get the keys and how to keep them when she's done. I came back at night to meet my place in sparkling condition . This compliment is coming from someone who can clean. I just have been too busy to do it myself.

They did a great job and the work turned out great.

It was absolutely fantastic and we are certainly going to hire them for our regular cleaning service.

They couldn't help me as they didn't service my area. I did get an email pretty quickly - within 2 days. Shortly after the fact, I got a refund and found someone else.

We are still finding issues with the work that Kim's Cleaning Service completed for us this week... This is my first time using Angie's List for Home Cleaning. Based upon the great reviews (?) I was excited that perhaps I finally found a home cleaning service that will do a complete job. When I first spoke to Michelle (Kim's assistant) I mentioned that I found Kim's Cleaning on Angie's List (that was the first problem) and that I wanted to setup an "initial" (start up) cleaning with regular service every two weeks. I was given a price over the phone without ever walking through my home (that was the second problem). Michele mentioned that the initial start up (thorough cleaning) would be $200. She explained that the cleaning would take 3 hours. I IMMEDIATELY questioned this asking ?how could the team do a "thorough first cleaning" in 3 hours? I explained that in the past, this has taken 7-8 hours!! Michelle explained that a large team would be brought in to do the work. I continued to be unsure, but since the price was almost the same as other services charged for the "initial thorough cleaning" I thought great! This will line up with what I have been paying for the initial service so perhaps the weekly service will be the same. Kim arrived with her team on Friday, April 4th, exactly on time (the only real positive feedback I have for her company). I walked through my house with her and her team started working. I asked about cabinets and refrigerators cleaning, but Kim thought that it didn?t need to be done. As the team of 3 women whipped through the house, I started to review there work and continued to question ?how could this be a initial cleaning or thorough cleaning?? As they were spending an average amount of time in each room AND I was still finding dirt on the floors, shower tracks etc. By this time Kim left. Three hours later, when I was out running errands Michelle called to tell me the team was done and wanted me to review the work. I explained my dissatisfaction with the pace (hurried) of the cleaning and thoroughness. It was then that I learned that Michelle setup my appointment with the assumption that I wanted a ?store front special?, which I never asked for. This happened because I mentioned Angie?s List. Apparently, the storefront special is not a thorough ?initial cleaning? but a normal level of service. Michelle explained that this was my fault (hence the low rating for professionalism), because I did not say I wanted a ?deep cleaning"! Seriously? I can?t tell you how many times I questioned the duration of the cleaning vs. what I expected. But because I used the word ?thorough?, ?start-up? and ?initial cleaning? and not ?deep cleaning? it's my fault. (She really said that! I couldn't believe it). I was appalled. In my profession, I work directly with customers everyday and I must say, that even if I thought the customer was wrong I would NEVER let these come out of my mouth. I return home and Kim explains that Michelle conveyed that I was angry. Not true. I can?t let stupidity like this ruin my day. I did however start to understand what occurred here. Apparently, as soon as I mentioned "Angie?s List" during my initial inquiry, Michelle assumed I wanted a regular service or the "storefront special" as she called it. Unfortunately, I never mentioned the words "storefront special" she did nor did I mention regular service! This is also the reason that the cabinet and refrigerator were not being cleaned. I still believe that none of this would have occurred if Kim came in to do an assessment and face-to-face walk through to begin with. I have never seen a cleaning service do an estimate over the phone! Either way, this miscommunication cost me $200 for a service I didn?t ask for. And yes Michelle this miscommunication was your fault. You needed to take 5 minutes to listen and understand what I was asking for. You had a few opportunities to do this but I guess attention was elsewhere... To add insult to injury, as this crew was leaving they were sweeping up dirt from under a bench in my hallway. Two days later we are still finding dirt in corners that were never cleaned, dirty mirrors, microwave not cleaned thoroughly etc. My husband swept up after they left. In the end, it cost me almost twice as much ($200) to get a regular cleaning of my home and the place isn?t clean. Now I?m Angry Michelle. Given that Kim?s cleaning service is so highly rated on Angie's List (which I just don't understand), I will likely never use Angie?s list again for house cleaning referrals. It looks like I'm going back to my old cleaning service since they charge half this price and were better than this crew.

They were able to schedule at short notice, gave a window for arriving and called ahead of time to say they would be delayed still arrived within 30 minutes of schedule. They made sure I had checked the areas was satisfied before they left. I picked them because of the positive reviews on Angies list and am very happy that I did and will use them again.

They were very nice and professional. She was great and very business-like. The girls she had were very professional and good at their work. The price was expensive and when I asked her what it would be to do on a regular basis, it was a bit high for me.

The team came in on time and was able to clean the home to my satisfaction. The arrangement was short notice and they managed to accommodate my requests.

Booked Kim's to clean apartment in-between tenants. Customer service was exceptional, Mechell did a fabulous job of getting in contact with me and keeping me informed of progress step by step. The best part is they picked up and returned keys to a different address from the unit to be cleaned. The cleaning job itself was solid, smelled and looked clean, but missed the final polishing. So, I just went over the place with some Clorox wipes and got the whole place shiny--Kim already did the hard work. Overall, excellent value and I am pleased with the service, I will use them again.

We found them on Angie's List because we were looking to find a new regular housekeeper. They were excellent so we decided to hire them regularly. They will becoming out every two weeks. My house was $190 for the initial cleaning, but they will be charging us a little bit less now that we’re regular customers.

Kim showed up on time with her assistants and they did an excellent job cleaning the house before we moved. I had specifically asked that the bathrooms and kitchen should be thoroughly cleaned and they indeed made sure that it looked spick and span. I would highly recommend their service. Great job!

Overall Kim did a good job but I think that she should inspect the work done by her team to ensure that it is done to her standards since it is "Kim's Cleaning Service"! It takes but two minutes to inspect a three bedroom, two bath house to make sure that corners are not being cut. Kim was very courteous and offered to come back to clean but I had cleaned it by then since we were hosting a party that evening. Overall they did a good job but I guess you have to make sure that the work is being done right.

They responded promptly and explained I was outside of service area. I had the option of paying a travel fee or receive a full refund. It was handled very professionally.

It took a few times to get things done the way I wanted, but that's not unusual. What was great about Kim and her team was that they were immediately responsive, and have no problem with my fairly constant requests to do things "my way". Kim was great working out a schedule and pricing scheme that worked for me. There was one team member who wasn't great, and she is longer working with the company. This is a business run by someone who cares about the quality of the work her company performs, and I'm glad I found them.

Provider contacted me after I tried to schedule the work, saying I was not in service area. She was very polite and professional.

Because of major illnesses in the past 2 years (think cancer) our house was a very dirty mess. The kitchen and bathroom were particularly filthy. I contacted Kim's service before Thanksgiving in the hopes that she'd take on this very daunting job. Kim stopped by, on time, to give us an estimate. She promised that she and her team of 2 additional helpers could do it but it would take 2 visits to clean it thoroughly. Although one of her helpers did not show up on the first day because of illness Kim and Katie tackled the job with gusto. I was amazed at how thoroughly they cleaned. Not only did they move our big area rugs to clean underneath them but they moved 2 heavy sofas to clean underneath them! Apparently this is what they always do every cleaning day. They also vacuumed the sofas. My main concerns were the kitchen and bathroom. Both were sparkling after they spent a great deal of time and effort scrubbing the worst offenders. Kim warned me that the cleaning would not be perfect the first time around, it was just too dirty but the second time would be a charm. She was right. Kim Katie and Altina showed up on time and cleaned everything again beautifully. The first cleaning took about 4-1/2 hrs. the second took 2-1/2 hrs. My kitchen and bathroom were immaculate! The rest of the house was thoroughly cleaned again. I did not have the 3 bedrooms cleaned because they were too cluttered but will be hiring them again soon to clean the bedrooms as well. Kim and her staff were professional, friendly, fast, efficient and focused. A caveat: washing the baseboards and kitchen cabinets are extra services but I didn't care both needed a good washing. Ask Kim's assistant, Mechelle, what is extra. Kim and her staff are the very definition of professionalism and courteous service and I've had some very bad cleaning services in the past so I know good service.

they showed up exactly on time, it was Kim and one other girl. they were personable from the very start. we have four cats and they were laughing with us at the crazy things the cats were doing. not only were they very nice but they also cleaned the apartment very well. i left for work while my fiance was home with them and when i got home i couldn't believe it was the same apartment. not that it was dirty or messy before but afterwards it was sparkling. they even folded the dish towels and hand towels like a fancy hotel. we've had a few cleaning services in over the past month or two and they have all failed the personality / customer service/ cleanliness test. To top it off when it was all done Kim told us the office had misquoted our price. my fiance thought she would have to pay more but kim told us it was $10 cheaper. We couldn't be happier with their service and have set up a bi-weekly cleaning with them. fantastic company!!!!

The two-person team arrived promptly and were pleasant. Unfortunately, I did not have sufficient time to review their work before they left. I noticed later that the baseboards and room corners were still dusty. The oven and refrigerator were given a very cursory cleaning and stains remained. The apartment was completely empty, so I was hoping for a really thorough cleaning job. I understand that the rate they charged was slightly below market for a move-in service, but it was a routine cleaning, nothing more. Disappointed and have not used their service again.

The ladies were prompt & courteous. Excellent service. Will surely go with them again.

I didn't find them to be very professional and scheduling was very difficult. After all the work on my end trying to get the service scheduled, they actually called me and changed the time on that day and still didn't show up. I am having the Big Deal refunded through Angie's List.

I purchased Kim's Deal via Angie's List and can't say enough about the quality of her work. She was on time and very thorough. Great work in the kitchens and bathrooms. The house feels wonderfully clean. I have two young boys and she did a great job cleaning around their stuffed animals and general clutter in their bedroom. Will definitely contact Kim again.

Arrived early. Did a good job with several cleaners so it was quick and efficient. I will use again. |
