Imperial Roofing & Construction L.L.C

It was a horrible experience. My husband has his own business as well, and he takes all his clients calls whatever time of the day. If he cannot perform a task or is unable to get products, he ensures his clients are always in the know, that is what keeps him in business. This was not the case with Imperial Roofing & Construction, we were calling him all the time to get updates on what was going on, very unprofessional. I am simply writing my own personal experience here. My property sustained more damages and I am out of pocket $$ and the job is still very much incomplete. Photos below is what my backyard still looks like.

Wow this company really took us for a Ride. The quality of the work completed by the workers this company hired is good. The quality of the Foreman and the management team is downright criminal. They were contracted to do the roofing and siding portion of a old beat up house I bought for me and my wife to live in here in Jersey City. The reviews we were able to find made them out to be a great company. The trouble started on the first day of work after they had our deposit. My neighbors came to me at the end of the day and were complaining not about the noise but about the anger and cussing that the foreman was using. The second day he had a problem with one of my neighbors whose driveway he was blocking and gave them a verbal lashing that continued after they went into their homes afraid of him. He had our money and I was intimidated so we continued to let them work hoping it would be good work and be over quickly. After they got to the point where it appeared the only item left was the downspouts from the gutters which needed to be done after the concrete crew finished driveway they left. We found 2 items incomplete: 1. A small section of our roof that came off the porch and to the side of the house was untouched. 2. A small section on the top corner of the house where the wind blows the rain and snow at our house, where the roof and the siding are suppose to come together were separated by about 6 inches open to the elements. We reached out to them and the office told us Mike would call us the next day. The next day no call from Mike. The next day we called the office and were told Mike would call us the next day. The next day no call from Mike. This continued for 2 weeks. After the 2 weeks the office stopped answering my calls and I was left to do nothing but leave voice mail. 2 more weeks later and I received an email from Mike telling me I was lying and that he would come over on the 30th of June. The 30th of June came and went. We saw Mike and crew working on a house a couple blocks from our house and we approached him to get a date that he would be over. He proceeded to ignore me and yell at my wife, then jumped over the fence yelling and chasing me down the street. Avoid this company if possible. I do not have the money to get a lawyer. It has been over a year and I still have anxiety over this.
