American Roofing and Contractors were hired to install new gutters and find and repair two leaks on my roof. This work was done in Nov. 2021.à   They came and replaced my gutters. I gave them a raving review on a website that he kept badgering me to do... So I did! He came back and fixed the gutters that I had issues with after the initial work was completed. However, after the first heavy rainfall, the leak poured out again onto my bedroom floor, from the ceiling.  The side leaks by my front door, same result. Therefore, the leaks were never repaired. They never went into my attic to inspect where the leak was coming in. The hole in my bedroom ceiling, from the attic, and the roof, is growing larger, causing extensive damage to my bedroom. I have contacted him several times throughout this long year, and he always had an excuse, and now has become silent. I have contacted a lawyer, who sent him a letter requesting he complete the project that he was paid 5,700.00 in 2021. His arrogance and lack of respect for his profession and customers are a disgrace. Besides the fact that I am 68 years old, on a fixed income, and unable to pay another company to fix what he was hired to do. His word is now tarnished and I would like the world to know that he is not to be trusted, and robs from unsuspecting and gullible customers, who are too TRUSTING. I had originally given him a glowing recommendation upon several requests from him, for my gutters. He did come back and fix a few problems that had occurred, but after the first heavy rain, my roof leak continued to leak through my bedroom ceiling and onto my floor. All of the furniture needed to be thrown out because of mold, as my ceiling now needs to be ripped out! I contacted John several times and was given excuse after excuse, The last contact was in June 2022, 7 months of waiting. He informed me that he was going to call me when he got back from his vacation. I am still waiting for his call. It appears I am going to have to hire someone else and borrow money, while I await legal action. Please do not hire this man. I was fooled and quite gullible to write my positive review. He only finished half of the job! Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice... shame on me! Shame on ME! All I asked was that he came back and finish what he was contracted to do. The gutters are fine.... leaks were never fixed.
