They came out give me estimate estimate was great they started my roof the next day the install new roof the install gutter guards in the repaired my shingle roof of the pipe collars excellent work highly recommend them if anybody needs roofing work American roofing is number one

I started working with this company in February 2021. I was in a desperate situation due to bad snow storms and needed a leak fixed over my bedroom by my gutters. John, the owner, proceeded to make mistake after mistake from the first repair. He initially charged me a set fee and then increased the price twice after the contract because he repaired a completely different part of my roof that did not require repair. Then when he finally found the source (which was directly over the area), he had to come back about five times to redo it because it was done incorrectly. I still had leaks. The leak is back today, and he refused to fix it under my 10-year warranty, claiming it wasn't covered even though it was in the same spot, which of course he missed and caused another by putting a bandaid on the problem. I had 4 roofers come to evaluate and EVERY SINGLE ONE SAID HE DESTROYED MY ROOF WITH TAR EVERYWHERE AND CAUSED THE NEW ISSUE. I finally received pictures of my roof, which John never got to over the last year, and saw the gruesome results. I wish this site allowed pictures to be shown. tar all over the top of my shingles. Disgusting work. He used the cheap way out because he made so many mistakes and destroyed my roof, which was brand new after hurricane Sandy in 2012. I waited a year and a half to write this review, trying to give him the benefit of the doubt. I advise anyone considering this company to beware. You will be sorry, as I am. I am out $3200 and my roof is in worse shape than it ever was.

They do the work very quickly, and It looks good from the picture, they also do little addition work for free! Wait till raining day, hopefully it will not leaking any more! Hope they do good warranty as they said , I had no experience with this team before!

John was very professional. I had a leak in my skylight during a rain storm and they came out immediately and not only repaired my skylight but. repaired other issues on the roof. I would highly recommend them.

I will recommend them. John, his son Robert and their associate John, showed up on time. They did a great job at a reasonable price. There was also an additional repair they did and didn't charge anything additional. They were also very neat and clean.

Very quick response to estimate job and showed up as expected to complete the job within the next day. Providing a 5 year warranty on all work is a plus to using this contractor.

Very impressed with the response we received from the time we called til the job was done. The job was explained in detail and done professionally.

The contractor did Gutters cleaning and maintenance (I had screens on the gutters, they took them off, cleaned the gutters, and put the screens back) . Also I had Roofing damage they took care of - shingles had fallen off, the wood underneath had rotted, they repaired the plywood and the beams and put back roofing materials. Also, I had a couple of fence issues which they helped me address. My fence was too old to want to invest a lot of money in but they helped make it sturdy until I can afford to replace it.

John was very helpful and explained our different options to us pricing was very affordable overall the work and pricing was great ð highly recommend them
