Called Gary for an estimate. Said he would send someone out around 11:30am. This was at 10:04am. I waited an hour and a half. No sign of Gary. I called him to see what was talking so long. He said he was now leaving the house. 30 minutes later he arrives. I told him the problem. He goes down to the basement to see what was wrong. He said l needed to change a couple of pipes. He didn't tell me how much or bring any tools to measure and determine how much materials he would need. He said he would call that day and give me a quote. Made the mistake of telling him that I could pay up to $2,000 in repairs. In the morning he calls and says he'll do the work for $2,400. I got another estimate immediately. I found two other licensed plumbers that said they would do the same job for less. Gary took advantage of a desperate situation and inflated the price. When asked how did I find him, I told him Angie's list. He said "Oh yeah I'm on that!" You guys need to seriously reevaluate his membership.

The plumber arrived a little later than expected but was very professional. Explained the process and took care of the problem. I recommend this plumber and would use them again in the future.

In February we purchased our first house, which was built almost a hundred years ago. We really needed to update the systems, which hadn't been properly updated in many decades. Our home inspector could not believe his eyes. We were very impressed with Gary's professionalism and expertise. He did a great job and was very helpful with suggestions and alternative solutions. He was very careful with the older plumbing and had a great eye for detail. We highly recommend Gary and will be using him for our future plumbing needs. He's a great plumber and a great guy.
