I just purchased my first house 10 days ago, Travis came to my house and was in a hurry from the moment he arrived telling me he had to get to his wife's holiday party for her company. He was there to install an outlet that would be on it's own circuit in the breaker box so that I could install a microwave above the stove. He was also there to install a new outlet in the wall so that I could mount a TV. He did the worst electrical job I've ever seen and also the worst electrical job the three electricians who have come in to check the work have seen and now I am stuck paying one of them to fix his work. He used the wrong type of wire for the microwave outlet, he left the wire hanging on the duct work in the furnace room, he put the microwave and garage door opener on the same circuit saying I will only ever use the garage door opener for 30 seconds at a time so it was fine. He cut 15 holes in my garage, kitchen and living room walls, and he staple gunned the wires on top of the studs making it dangerous for the walls to be patched because if I ever tried to hang something I could ultimately hammer a nail into a wire. He told me to give him a good review and tell everyone how good looking he is, he told me to have my painter put nail plates over the wiring, and only after he was called out on his shoddy, rushed wiring did he offer to make the job right, as he will no doubt claim in any response to this post, but who would let someone of his ability back into their home to continue doing work at such an unprofessional level? I'm not an electrician, but upon review by licensed electricians I contacted after the fact, this work is unsafe and not to code, although he continues to dispute this. When I explained that I wanted a refund because not only do I now have to pay someone to fix his work I also have to pay someone to patch the enormous, unnecessary holes in my walls, he told me that if I disputed the charge with the credit card company he would put a lien on my house and that this was obviously my plan the entire time. How could his bad work had been my plan? He also stated that he has put lien's on numerous people's homes and I should try him. I was so excited to buy my first home, as a single female having workers come out has been stressful but this has been an absolute nightmare. Stay away!

Do not use this company for pigtailing., Two days ago, I had a melt down in my wall. An electrician, who is also an inspector, came and told me the problem. Wrong gauge wiring and instead of twisting the wires around each other, they were just laid next to each other and the cap twisted on. Any movement could loosen the wires. The purple cap melted down to about a 1/2". The new electrician checked another outlet, and yes it was also wrong. I was told to contact the electric contractor who did the job and have him come back to repair. I DO NOT WANT THIS PERSON IN MY HOUSE. Now I have to pay all over again to repair this shoddy work.

I left numerous messages and never get back a response.

Noticed recessed lighting offer on Angie's Deals section and that contractor had 3 "A" reports. Called Travis during week of Sept 20th to schedule an appointment. He was professional and able to stop by next day for estimate on adding 6 recessed lights in kitchen and retrofitting 4 existing recessed lights. Project was expected to run $1200-$1300. I inquired on available time to begin project (as I would be home following week if his team had time) He mentioned he would call me back that night with available day/time. No calls. Two + weeks pass and I had another couple of days to work from home and followed up with him on Tuesday Oct 8th. He apologized for not getting back to me before and said he would call me later that evening with price and details since I wanted one less light. Again no calls. The next afternoon, Wednesday Oct 9th I called back just to confirm I hadn't missed his calls and made sure I had my facts correct. He said he was busy and had not had chance to review my project or even call me back. I understand people are busy but without the courtesy of a return phone call (on two separate occasions) even to say- iI'm busy but customer is still on my radar - would have sufficed. I will select another contractor but thought an Angie's Deal or a $1200 job would not have gotten overlooked. Glad I reached out to contractor first PRIOR to taking advantage of Angie's List coupon offer to see responsiveness and not be stuck with no choices once coupon purchased. My rating reflects the initial sales estimate (professional, showed up on time) but I chose not to have work performed based on lack of any post-estimate follow-up to customer

Travis installed a 20KW at my home and from start to finish his men did it all. The workers were polite men who always cleaned up after themselves and were very helpful. I am very happy that I chose to go with this company. I will defiantly use them again in the future for any electricial service that I need. Thank you Travis !

Travis and his guys were amazing! I could not of asked for a more professional company to do my panel upgrade. I was slightly worried about the installation being we had a out of code panel and was a potential fire hazard that Travis pointed out on the estimate. He made me feel very comfortable with his knowledge and his previous references. His workers were very polite and cleaned up every bit of mess that was made. I will be using Superior Electrical Contractors for all of my future electrical needs without a doubt. Thank you Travis !!!!

Had some new high hats with dimmer put in. Workers were very polite and neat. price was as quoted-What more could you ask?
