Description of Work: AMAZING SERVICE---COMPLETELY RECOMMEND THESE GUYS FOR ANY PLUMBING NEED!!! | |A few weeks ago we had a major issue in our kitchen. Our home sits on a slab with the plumbing lines running through the slab. The hot water pipe under our kitchen had cracked and was leaking into our slab. We could tell because the tile right in front of our sink was considerably hot, as compared to the rest of the tile in our kitchen, which is usually slightly cool. We expected to have our kitchen floor completely torn up and most of our cabinets and counter top removed. Neil was recommended to us so we gave them a try. One of their veteran plumbers, Adrian, came to do the work. He was excellent. Very professional. They first used a metal detector to locate the pipes under the floor. After that they used a stethoscope style listening device to precisely locate the leak under one of our cabinets. After covering the immediate area with clean drapes, they then cut a hole in the bottom of our cabinet floor to access that part of the slab. Adrian then used a small jack hammer to cut a hole in the slab to access the pipe. In order to avoid having to remove the cabinets or countertop he did the jack hammering while he was sitting INSIDE our bottom cabinets! And with all that, he was surgical. I swear the hole couldn't have been larger than 1 foot in diameter and he completely exposed the pipe and the leak. With the leak exposed, he was able to cut out the cracked pipe and replace it with new plumbing. Within hours of their arrival the repair was made, the hole in the slab refilled with concrete, and the floor in the cabinet screwed back into place. We were afraid our kitchen was going to be torn up for days and they had it tied up for a few hours at best. When they were done you could barely tell they had been there. The price was more than reasonable for the excellent service, and I will be definitely calling Neil Brooks the next time we have any plumbing needs.

+ -1 moreMy house had an old oil furnace with a forced-air system. I hired a plumber who did, what I thought, to be a very good install of a high-efficiency gas furnace, forced-vent water heater and a gas stove. He had to run the black gas pipes, three PVC vent pipes and condensate lines. However, he kept making excuses with respect to getting the construction permits and inspections. Six months after the work was completed, I found he did not have the level of licensing needed to get the inspections signed off. After calling a few other plumbers, Neil Brooks was the only one who would get me out of this predicament. He was able to work with the Jackson township to draw the plans and get the permits. Neil's man corrected a dozen non-conformances. This included reworking about twenty feet of pipe (because of discoveries during the pressure test) and he had to install proper condensate drainage pipes. All the work was done in the few weeks that was scheduled. Neil's quotation was orderly and precise. It is nice that there is an office staff. Someone is always there to answer your phone call (if Neil does not answer himself). Do not expect discount pricing, but the price is not unreasonable. Neil saved me a lot of time and trouble and saw the inspections completed to the end. I am very grateful for his help and I will call on him again.
Description of Work: Finished natural gas conversion that was not completed by the first (unnamed) plumber. Got permits and inspections taken care of.

+ -1 moreThe services were never performed due to the fact that they never even responded to my request for a quote. This provider was unprofessional and I would highly state "do not use". If a provider cannot even respond to an inquiry for services, how prompt and efficient can their work be. The fact that they failed to return my email and solicitation for an estimate is a great indicator that they are not a quality service provider.
Description of Work: This provider was contacted and asked for an estimate. They never responded. I would not recommend using this plumber.

Description of Work: I hired Neil Brooks Pluming Heating & Cooling INC. to fix work done by a previous plumber. They had to install the correct gas pipe. The piping on the navien was installed incorrectly so they had to fix that as well. He also had to replace two caps on the air vents that were out of code. He replaced a flange and replaced the hot/cold waterlines.

There were no other problems, but I did find the fee a little bit high for what the service was which was my only issue. I'm not sure if I'd use them in the future and would shop around for a more reasonable price.

+ -1 moreExcellent. we have a 1 piece shower enclosure and were concerned that we'd have to tear the whole thing out or cut into it to access the piping. The technician instead accessed the piping from the other side of the wall, leaving a very small area to repair, and gave us some simple advice on how to do that, which we did the next day. He was prompt, professional, personable, and made the repair extremely quickly. Pricing was very fair, was quoted before work started and not exceeded.

They were able to go in just through the laundry room; they didn’t have to tear up any other rooms. I recommend him highly.

+ 1 moreThe quote was for, roughly, $10,000 and he was very professional; there was nothing I did not like about him. He came highly recommended from a co-worker. The only thing was that somebody else had a different design and, pricewise, they were about the same. The other company that I did use had high efficiency equipment whereas Neil did not. Unfortunately I had the work done in September and the heat still is not working right. Neil was very professional and I wish I had used him.

As part of a new kitchen they Installed garbage disposal, all sink plumbing (2 faucets), extra valves for fridge water line, drinking water system.
