Jeff and his crew at Marathon Construction did an excellent job on my kitchen remodel. He was very professional and accommodating from the estimate all the way to the end of the job. He and his crew were also very trustworthy, I was able to leave them in the house without supervision, and they even made sure my dog didn't run out of the house!. Jeff was also very flexible, especially when the remodel ended up including 2 other projects that were not expected. He was very fair in his estimate and very accurate in the time it would take to finish the job. His crew was also great, they always cleaned up after the days work, and tried not to interfere with my daily routine. Jeff always answered my calls promptly, and addressed any concerns that I had. Remodeling a kitchen is a truly stressful situation, but Marathon Construction made it as painless as possible, and I have a beautiful kitchen now!

Very trustworthy, I felt very comfortable leaving my house keys for them to access while I wasn't home. Excellent communications, always returned emails and calls before end of the day. All hired tradesmen were top-notch - excellent tile, electrical, demolition, sheet rock, etc. Tarps and plastic were put out every day to cover the floors and furniture. Excellent clean-up every day. Time to complete project was almost exactly to the day forecasted. I would hire Jeff again for another project.

Marathon Construction has been nothing less than fantastic from beginning to end. Communication is excellent, worth ethic excellent, employees excellent, pricing excellent. The owner Jeff is a true professional and helped me from beginning to the end on complete renovations of two bathroom remodels and kitchen tiling. His employees were curious, clean and the very best at what they do. All questions or concerns were immediately responded to, and Jeff even helped me at Lowes buy the proper material needed which was a huge relief. I just can't say enough good things about Marathon Construction.

I interviewed multiple contractors and felt comfortable with Jeff from our first meeting. Jeff was very flexible, worked with me through my project timing and "scope creep", and kept me informed throughout my project. We gutted my bathroom to the studs, knocked down a few walls and combined two closets. It's beautiful. I wouldn't hesitate to hire Jeff again.

I hired Jeff again because he did a great job on our bathroom. Jeff already had my trust so I was very comfortable leaning on him for design help and to do the work properly. We had a very short window to do the full kitchen 5 weeks which included tear down of old and total new kitchen as well as having a couple delayed orders from Home Depot and Jeff still managed to work his crews schedules to make our kitchen complete before my wife gave birth. (which was stressful for the both of us!). He completed the job and continued to impress us with the A quality guys he brought in to do various parts of the kitchen. He even made sure to send his cabinet guy pack to do some minor work a few weeks later when some replacement parts came in on the cabinetry and I trusted him to make sure that happened. Our kitchen is gorgeous and is now the focal point of the whole house, I will always look to Jeff first for any other remodeling jobs for the house.

Jeff came in and worked with what we wanted to do in our very old master bathroom. He was upfront about the time it would take him and provided valueable input and direction for our goals. Not only does Jeff himself do A work but he brings in multiple A quality guys to get the work done. We are ecstatic with the outcome and now our son only showers in our room.

After searching for a contractor, and interviewing several I did feel immediately most comfortable with Jeff. We have not had much experience with hiring a contractor and it was a little scary. Once the job started, Jeff kept us informed, was always available to answer any questions and was responsive going above and beyond to keep the job moving, and at the same time making sure it was done right. Jeff's crew were professional and clean. Subcontractors were also the best - and spoke highly of working for Jeff. I have heard a lot of nightmare stories about contractors, and I think we got the best guy available. Go with Marathon, you'll be happy you did!

Jeff and his crew are the best! from the initial meeting with Jeff until completion I could not have asked for better service and professionalism! I hired marathon construction to remodel two full bathrooms, and I cannot say enough good things about this company. Right from the start, Jeff went above and beyond. He spent a while with me during the estimate and he gave me some ideas. In 3 days time he had the estimate ready, and he took the time to bring it over and discuss it with my husband and me. Everything went smoothly and I was also very happy with the other workers who took care of tiling, demolition, and plumbing. Jeff was very patient with me as I hemmed and hawed over every little decision, even accompanying me to Home Depot on two different occasions to help me pick things out. The company is extremely professional, they did an impeccable job, and they cleaned up after themselves very nicely. Highly recommended.

After interviewing several contractors for remodeling a bathroom, remodeling a porch/vestibule area, and removing a wall, we hired Jeff and Marathon Construction on our initial meeting (day of estimate). Even before we met, his office emailed information about the company including an extensive list of references (something i had to wait weeks for other contractors to provide. Jeff stated it would take a few weeks from start to finish to complete and was spot-on as was his quality of work and work-ethic. He had several different teams such as demolition and sheetrock, painters, tile person and everybody worked hard, was professional, trustworthy and cleaned up nicely. As far as Jeff himself, he was very patient as we had some issues with the delivery of supplies(not related to his company) and was not upset with the delay. We were quite happy with Jeff and Marathon Construction, his enthusiasm for the work, professional manner and temperament, since any type of construction could be stressful. We will 100% have Jeff and Marathon back for further remodeling/bathroom renovations and future projects.

This was our first time doing a master bedroom bath remodel and finding Jeff Markowitz (Owner) was a God send. Jeff met with us and we discussed our project ideas with him. He appraised the area to be done and gave us a quote. Since he was the first contractor we saw, the quote seemed high. However, Jeff was not hard sell and advised us to shop around. We did just that and found that either the quotes were about the same or there was a lack of confidence we felt for the other contractors. 4 months later, we contracted with Jeff and he advised a time schedule to do the work. Jeff's workmen were professional, efficient, and very courteous. We ran into a few problems, due to that e size of our layout, but Jeff was there not only to resolve then problems but in fact used his experience to enhance and improve upon our ideas. Jeff and his crew were great to work with. Work was done on time and within budget, despite several changes during the course of the project. Very upfront with estimate and no hidden costs; good at explaining work to homeowner. Showed up when promised (called once when unexpected problem on another job made them late).

This is a fantastic company! The workers are all very knowledgeable, and extremely polite. They come in each morning and immediately start working, it's non stop all day long. My questions and concerns are dealt with at light speed! At the end of each day they clean everything so there is some semblance of normality in the house. I would not hesitate to use Marathon again in the future, and I highly recommend them to anyone that wants great work done in their home!

Our new bathroom is incredible and we could not be more pleased with the results. All concerns and questions about the design, pricing and product choices were quickly answered and explained. The price was very reasonable compared to other estimates and the owner is very fair when it comes to unforseen labor and materials.
